Brunswick Monster Purple Bowling Ball

(8 reviews) Write a Review

Monster introduces Brunswick’s most aggressive Proactive coverstock to the popular mid priced category. As a result, the difference in ball reaction between the Monster and other mid-price or entry level balls is significant. Other particle balls at the mid-price point are subtly different from mid-price reactives. In fact, in the hands of mid-skill level players the differences are going to be close to zero. Not so with the Monster. Monster will significantly out-hook and roll more evenly than Reactive coverstock balls, providing a valuable tool to attack oily lane conditions and bridge the gap between introductory and high performance products.

An extict product liao by Brunswick This Monster purple is an oil sucker! It bite throough oil providing a Strong arcing at back end and an explosive!" This monster is to whipped out when lanes are heavliy oiled . It rolls out evenly witha smooth backend. The impact still as good. It works like the Monster Red/BLack, juz more hooky Needs to be regularly "bath" after abt 40 games to maintain the battery. Yet another BRUNSWCK propuct! Monters Series RuleZ! A ball tat must have, esp when playin sythetic lanes with heavy oil..then this Monster will be the one for you to use!

drilling: under & slightly outside ring finger with CG kicked out 45degreesThis layout may hook early and be inconsistent at the breakpoint for players, use layout #2E instead. This layout may hit the finger holes use layout #1L instead. High-Track 3 3/8“ (Use 3”-5 1/2” pin-outs for most bowlers) slams in the backend. rolls nicely in the midlane. Do heavy oiled conditions stop your game dead in its tracks? Monster introduces Brunswick’s most aggressive Proactive coverstock to the popular mid priced category. This ball is drilled with the pin under the ring finger. This allows it read the lane and then make a strong turn to the hole. I am not a hard thrower but this ball allowed me to put more speed on the ball. When this ball hits the pocket it annihalates the pins. My friend was throwing Storm and complaining of no carry. I was carrying everything on that shot. This is always my first ball out of the bag.WHEN THE LANES ARE TOO DRY DON'T THROW IT. I bowled on dry lanes and usually i throw 14 mph and I was throwing 16 and coming high.WHAT A BALL.<scr

Great ball when it came out of the box. First game i threw 8 in a row to win ten bucks. Great straight up or in to out. The ball really gets to me when you hit perfect pocket and after the frenzy of pins theres a standing 7. The ball really is only good for 9 pin no tap turniments cuz it never fails to leave me a 7 pin. Over all the ball is over rated on hook since it has less hook than its twin the green monster. If you wanted to buy this ball just skip it and buy the green monster you'll be more happy in the end.

Possibly the best ball I ever purchased off of eBay for the money. Really tracks nicely and finishes hard. Has high ratio of strikes compared to other particle cover stock balls. Feels great in my hand before, during and through the delivery, every time. It's not very forgiving when you miss your mark, though. Best fore runner Brunswick made. It's really a great ball, even for the older, avid bowling crowd, that can't keep up the faster ball speeds. Highly recommend this one to rollers and strokers. Crankers beware, this one doesn't like it that way.

The house I bowl at usually goes with medium oil, so I break out this purple sponge when they decide to change the condition. Over the course of a 3 game series I'll normally have to adjust 5 boards total to find the oil again. Ball has a tendency to come back even when you miss your target and it hangs on the one-board. It can be difficult to control on patchy oiling paterns, as it grabs on any dry surface. Overall it has a nice, consistant roll - shot a 298 game with it last year. Keep it off of dry lanes, or you will be shooting 7-pins with it instead of strikes.

This is a great ball to have when Bowling with your first Particle. once you are finished with this ball and you are a hard core Brunswick fan i suggest you look in to the Fuze series. If not you might would want to try the Apex series By Ebonite. But if you were like me getting your first particle ball i would Recommend this ball. *IF YOU ARE A NINEPIN BOWLER AND YOUR HOUSE USALLY HAS DRY LANES THIS WILL NOT BE A GOOD BALL FOR YOU. YOU MIGHT WANT TO LOOK IN TO A URTHANE BALL. *BECAREFUL WHEN YOU CHOSE TO LET THE MONSTER OUT OF ITS BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
