I drilled this ball with the pin above the ring finger and I kicked the cg out. I had to drill an extra hole. I drilled it by the center of my grip, true the CG and went 7". The first couple of week, I hate this ball because I always had the 10 pin. After one month, I begun to love it. It was probably because the ball was too shiny and after a couple of game, the coverstock was a little duller. This ball snaps very hard! When my fantasy x can't pass the head or when there is too much carrydown, I take out this baby and I continue to strike a lot and carry the pins. It is a good complement to my Fantasy X and the Fantasy X Reactive. The cover begins to be dull but I still have great scrore with it so I don't want to sand the ball...

I drilled this ball up with the pin under my ring finger and the CG 1 1/4" from my grip line. This is my favorite layout. For my game the ball will get good length and then turn over in the dry, but not be too snappy. I used this ball along with the Fanasty X Super Carbon to help win a local doubles tournament. The Fanasty X has the same drilling. The Red Fire would go a little longer and hook about 3 boards less when it hit the dry. This ball did not give me over/under, it just made a nice smooth transition off the dry, and had the hard hitting power of all AZO bowling balls. I have used this on a variety of lane conditions. No condition has been too wet or too dry for this ball. It is a great medium ball, and will be something that you can read the lanes with. If you have any questions, please email me.

Well AZO was a big hit at my center so I tried a Red Fire just to check it out plus it was for sale :). Anyway I drilled it to go long and turn hard. Well I threw about 15 games with it. That was it. This ball would go long, longer, super long and not do a darn thing. So I had it redrilled to roll a little earlier and see if it could actually grab the lane. Hey it worked! BUT, it would ROLL OUT, causing horrible carry. Who knows maybe my ball was a dud. Next ball I'm going to try out is the new Fantasy X. Hopefully it won't be as disappointing as this ball.

My Red Fire is drilled pin over ring finger with CG directly uner it in grip center. This drill allows me to play outside on the dry boards when there is too much over under for my stronger equipment. I can also play deeper on a fried shot in open bowling, with no loss of energy or control. The hit and carry are phenomenal and only second to the Drastic Tour. I definitely enjoy breaking out this baby when every other AZO ball I own goes wild at the break point. Great ball fellas, keep em coming!! P.S. Why the hell did you guys discontinue the Drastic Carbide fo??????

I won 2 of these balls and can play anywhere between the 2. My original gives me mid lane action and a back end roll and carries great. This is my go to ball on any conditions idealy like to play 2nd-3rd arrow with it have gotten to between 4th-5th arrow with it(keep in mind im a lefty) and have play outside 5 with it. My newest is drill to go longer and snap allways get me threw the heads and gives me great reaction on the back end with great carry. i like to get this ball outside of 5 on tougher condtions but it also allows me to play a basic 10 board house shot and detroy it. Bot have posted great numbers dor expecially in tournaments... it really help when u can bowl an 8 game block with 1 ball

It's one of the better balls I throw and when thrown right it hits like a run-a-way truck. It reacts great for me on heavy-oil through dry lanes. I would buy another one and drill it to go longer. It's a great ball to have in the bag and a good ball to help you read the lanes during practice. For people with not a lot of "hand" the Red Fire is a sure way to get some reaction and better roll. And 100 words is hard to get in here. One Two Three. Finally !
