This is a very good ball, I am looking at getting my 16 yr old son and 15 yr old daughter an AZO ball. They are both reaching the points in their games that calls for a new ball. Considering no one around us are using these, I feel they will make some noise for the company. They are both averaging pretty well now with factory seconds from another company. Their games would get to the next level, I feel, by using anyone of the AZO balls offered. The only question I have is trying to figure out which one to order for them and having them punched up for their style of game.

Great ball. Good length (pollished) with a hard turn at the backend. Nice roll, powerful hit, and controllable. I use this ball for games 1 and 2, and a Brunswick Eliminator for game 3. Typical lane conditions are drenched down the middle and dry outside of the second arrow, but the oil is tapered toward the third arrow down the lane. I generally play one to two boards to the right of the third arrow. I received several comments on this ball. AZO should send me a check for advertising, because nobody I bowl with has ever heard of it. I wouldn't say it's the most powerful hitting ball, I've a Brunswick Eliminator that hits just as hard, but this one has better roll and does not leave the ten pin. I recommend the max flare layout (pin and CG parallel to the thumb hole/grips set off to the right for a righthanded bowler). My ball has a 2-1/8 pin and 2.5 oz of top weight. If you want this ball to hook, and it will even in the heavy stuff, this layout has worked well for me
