Dual Angle: 60* x 5" x 47* PAP: 5-3/8 (right), 11/16 (up) The King Cobra utilizes the standard light bulb core and boy does it deliver! With its F55 cover at 4K abralon, it will easily cover a lot of boards. I was able to play multiple angles on both a THS and Sport Shots. It was able to push through the heads, read the midlane great, but wasn't jumpy off the dry and had a strong, controllable backend. I was able to get deeper with this ball as compared to the Favorite. For me, this ball is super versatile. 1st ball out of the bag and if you need to move into the oil with it, you won't have any issues with backend recovery. Every bowler should have this type of ball in his/her lineup. Great benchmark ball and then some! If you are getting an early mid-lane read with your aggressive ball, don't hesitate, pull out the King Cobra for a little more length and a great move off the dry.

Nothing can be called King of the Lanes more than the AMF King Cobra. The F55 cover may sound weak compared to other AMF balls, but the King Cobra is a total hook monster at a mid level price. I drilled two balls differently, and they both start their move to the pocket sooner than anything I've ever owned. Drilled one with pin centered above fingers, CG around center of grip. The other is drilled with pin in center of span, and CG kicked left and down with a balance hole. The layouts compliment each other as lane conditions change. I haven't used them on a challenging pattern yet, but they destroy a THS. Check out my videos of 900 Global/AMF Products on youtube, username "conventionalspinner".
