AMF Nighthawk Torque Bowling Ball

If Bowling Were a Fistfight, This Would be Brass Knuckles We took our popular Night Hawk and gave it a heart transplant. But we didn't just give it any heartwe gave it the cold-blooded heart of a killer. Introducing the Night Hawk Torque. It's the same core body as the original Night Hawk Menace, but beating inside the Torque is a devastatingly colossal flip block and a lethally dense Power Ring. And on the outside is our exclusive next generation coverstock SPT II. The result is pure genius. Evil genius. As you can probably gather from its name, the Night Hawk Torque spins like a Night Hawk soaked in adrenaline. You get lower RGs, which allows the ball to spin faster and rev up harder than any other Night Hawk. The result is a hook so torrid it will take your breath away. The Torque has the same back end of the Night Hawk Menace but with an earlier break point. It's even more forgiving in heavy oil. If you liked the earlier Night Hawks, you owe it to yourself to give the Torque a spin. It's hell on the pins, and that's good for you.

Not for many outside bowlers but this ball hits very very hard. If you can get a hold of this gem then do get it. I have shot 15 300s with it already and have learned to maintain my avg. over 218 with it. I bought it from a closeout for only $35 and ended up buying 3. So I can look forward for many more high scores in the future. -Rarely find spares to make -Rarely find coner pins -Almost always an explosive strike. What more can anyone ask for? It is one of the best Night Hawk balls I have ever had the pleasure of having. So look for it, maybe you can get lucky like me.

This is a 16 lb ball with a 3.5 inch pin and about 2.75 oz of top weight before drilling. I bought this ball from buddies nib for only $60. The pin is about an inch right of my ring finger with the cg and mb stacked beneath the pin. I really like the way this ball rolls! It starts hooking while still in the oil and keeps driving until it hits the wall at the end of the lane. This ball definately needs head oil due to its early hooking nature. I only have a few games on this puppy so far and the carry has been OK but i've left 10 pins on some hits that I was sure were strikes. Everyone was having carry problems so perhaps it was a 10 pin off spot or something. I'll update when I have more games on the ball. roll 10+ hit 7 louie 10/06/02 I have found the carry problems go away if there is enough oil. When I use it on a heavier oiled shot it carries very well. You just have to know when to put it away. Roll 10+ Hit on oil 9.5 hit on drier 5 predictability 10+
