My Green Mamba is drilled with a 4 1/4" pin, appoximately 60 degrees and the pin is below the fingers. I found the ball to best be suited to medium conditions. If you have thrown The Look which I think is very angular, this ball offers a slightly smoother response. The last time I threw this ball was fresh house shot which I would describe as wet/dry and I had a great ball reaction with this ball. Love the color, its something different! I have talked with several bowlers who have purchased this ball and nothing but good comments.

A good looking ball with a big sting! That’s the best way I can describe the Green Mamba. After coming out the Black Mamba, I couldn’t figure out how this ball was going to top that. Well, AMF figured it out starting with a fantastic color of Green and White. Next add in a ball that gives you good length with a ton of recovery and you have a winner. What I was most impressed with is no matter how long of pattern you have the Green Mamba reads the dry quicker than just about anything I have ever thrown. Keeping the drilling simple allowed the versatility of this ball to really be shown. When you can’t decide if you need a ball to start early or late, the Green Mamba is the right ball for you. This ball can do just about anything you ask of, and hit the pins extremely hard! I bowled with this ball on both Wood and Synthetic lanes and saw very similar results. This is one ball that will be shown off for a long, long time. I am left handed with medium speed and revs. If you have any questions about this great offering don’t hesitate to send me an email at sorce@uwm.edu .

AMF might have really put some pressure on Storm Frantic owners with this one. The colors are more intense, and the ball seems to flip a little stronger. All about the speed with it so far. On the fresh, I played straight up between 5-10 with it at around 17-17.5 mph. When the lanes changed, I moved inside and wheeled it outside 5 at around 16 mph, and it never lost the power. Unfortunately, the ivory color is a complete BITCH to keep clean. Haven't fiddled with the surface yet, because the ball is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Maybe, I'll buy another one and change the surface/drill pattern, just to experiment...
