This review is for the Angle Evolution, the reddish/black pearl ball. A great ball. This hits like no other I have had. I shoot on an all synthetic lanes with a medium oil pattern and swing it gently from around 13 to 7 and have a ball speed around 17 mph on the down and in shot. This ball clears the heads awesome and then makes it move and just rips the pocket. I have the pin slightly below and outside of my ring finger with a strong drill pattern with a balance hole in it. If I pull it a few boards to the left, it doesn't jump too bad. I have yet to leave those ugly splits when going through the nose because this thing just sends pins everywhere. I picked this up for around 40 buck on the internet, and time telling could be the best ball I have thrown.

Bought this in conjunction with the Angle evolution ( see review) to complement each other. I use this on all synthetic lanes with a medium oil pattern with dry out of bounds. My ball speed is, depending on how much I swing it, is around 16 mph. This ball has a very controllable arc to it. Had mine drilled stong with the pin just below and outside of my ring finger. When it hit the pocket, it just ripped the rack. I wouldn't think this ball is an every day ball due to it wanting to hook, but seems to work very well on the oil. Overall I am very pleased, not as much as with the Angle Evolution, but a very good ball. I found both of these online and paid with shipping 40 bucks a ball. Couldn't pass it up.

I have this ball drilled with one of my favorite novelty drills. Pin on PAP with cg 3 inches from PAP on a line to the center of the grip. This drill tends to create an earlier rolling reaction with a strong, but smooth backend. In a nutshell this is the greatest heavy oil ball I have ever thrown. This ball gives excellent length on heavy oil but finishes very hard and plows through carrydown like it's not even there. I have yet to encounter enough oil to stop it. The hit and carry are absolutely outstanding on heavy oil. All the track flare happens on the backend of the lane where you need it.

This ball is 16 pounds. It started with 2.25 ounces of top weight and a 3.5 inch pin. The pin is about 1.5 inches right of my ring finger (i'm a righty) and the mass bias is kicked out to the early roll position. A weight hole was drilled on the midline. This ends up being about a 3 3/8x1 drilling. I needed something to roll early on an unusually slick house shot. I have a little too much speed for my revs, so this shot was giving me fits! Problem solved!! This ball starts so much earlier than my other stuff, it is not even funny. It starts hooking while it is still in the oil. I no longer have to stand super far right and concentrate on early roll. I can send the ball right again and watch it come roaring back. Because it hooks in the oil, it is not forgiving of pulled shots, but it does come back when sent wide. It needs oil in the heads and midlane to be effective. Don't even try this ball on a medium or drier shot! For those who have a lack of hand or a lot of speed or face ve

Hey everyone, This ball seems to be sort of an enigma, as they have never really been all that easy to get a hold of. I was lucky enough to buy a used one from a guy at ballreviews.com. I had the ball drilled with a leverage stack, as I wanted it to be my tournament oil ball. This ball reacted fantastically on heavy oil. The ball got into a nice, early roll, but still had a strong arc on the backend, and the carry was phenomenal. Unfortunately, my fiance' does not see the need for anyone to own 9 bowling balls, (I have to agree), so once I had ordered an Eraser Boost and Granite Gargoyle I was forced to get rid of some of my existing equipment. I'm now down to five bowling balls, would have been 4 but some guy flaked out on buying my old purple pearl X-Caliber. Anyhow, the Tour is a great ball for heavier oil, and guys with speed could probably get away with using it on medium conditions as well. If you're looking for a ball for heavy oil this one is definitely worth y
