A great overall ball, the first one out of my bag every night. Just picked up another as a backup. If you are looking for versatility and hit, you can't go wrong here.I have the ball drilled with the pin at 2 o'clock and the CG kicked out a bit. The ball rolls very smooth and clears the heads with ease, while storing up energy for the backend. The ball is not overly jumpy for a hard hooking ball. Haven't adjusted the surface as of yet, haven't needed to as the factory finish has worked very well so far on a variety of conditions.

I had this ball drilled with the pin placed just underneath my ring finger so the ball would go long but with a lot of side weight so when ih hit the backend it had a sharp angular break point. I had this ball brand new and it cost me about £180 and i was told that it might be a touch on the expensive side but i think it was worth every penny. The drilling is very versitile, it works well on most conditions including very heavy oil, but this is helped by is particle cove stock. It also works well on lanes that are starting to break down as it has a lot of length and with a lot of side weight it s able to kick back from deeper angles. The only problem with this ball is that on very light oil it tends 2 get a bit squirty but this ball was never made for this condition. I have never tride a surface adjustment with it yet so im not sure what sanding it down would do, but i have been told it would sacrifice some backend for an earlyer break point. All in all this is a very g

A particle ball that doesn't hook early and is still predictable on the back-end. It's an amazing ball that unfortunetly is gone! The ball slaps out tens as well as I've ever seen. It also is easy to adjust the surface for desired reaction. It's not a oil ball by any means but it accepts sanding and still doesn't hook too early. I really believe this ball is one of the best ever for heavier handed players. If you get a chance to buy one of these don't hesitate to do so. I have mine drilled tame and I've shot 741, 784 and 717 with it out of 5 times thrown. Great job AMF!!!

The AMP gets down the lane with ease then makes a hard, but controllable turn towards the pocket. Carries the off hit, carries the high hit and just shreds the rack on the light hit. You can go coast to coast with this ball and it still hits the pocket with POWER!! Outside line, tight line, down and in, coast to coast, it doesn't affect the HIT of this ball. Far from the biggest hooking ball on the market, but all of the hook is in the backend where it matters most. The highest ever backend rating of 16 was achieved by the AMP through Bowling this Month testing. Since there are 18 boards between the gutter and the pocket , sixteen just about covers the entire backend area. The only place this ball won't come back from is the gutter. The entry angle of the AMP makes it one of the hardest hitting balls on the market. AMF??? Yes, an AMF ball! Who would have thunk? Both the Triumph and the Triumph AMP are superior to the vast majority of balls out there and either one may well

I don't think anyone should use the out of the box finish on this ball I was leaving a lot of corners not just 7 pins but a lot of 10 pins as well.I had to plug and redrill at first and it was a great ball and for some reason it worked its best when at an AMF Center.I am still not carrying well with it but overall I'm happy with it.I feel you should have no weight hole in it because its not heavy even for a 16 pound and it has its moments were it simply will not carry nor will it work.

Ball Specs - 16lb, 3 inch pin, 3 oz top weight. Drilled it stacked, pin above ring finger. Ball is really a monster on medium oil. Gets a lot of those "Wow's!" when it hits the pocket. On a medium shot, I generally stand 25-30 and throw this over the third arrow and let it track out to normally 7-4 and let it snap back into the pocket. The hit is very noticable as stated above. However, as I stated in my dislikes I needed to drill a side hole to get the desired reaction I hoped for. Before the side hole the ball would tend to skid through the oil and flip too late down the lane, missing the break point by at least 5 feet. However, with the side hole taken out the ball works like a champ on as much oil as the lanes can muster. Course, the ball is not meant for light oil. Even at my young age I can't manage to keep this puppy on the right side of the lane when the lanes break down. Overall I give this ball a 9.5 out of 10. For tremendous hitting power and a great re
