Adding to the widely loved Zen series we have the Zen Master. Since they announcement of this ball I think many people have been excited to get it on the rack. It does not disappoint that's one thing I can say. When first throwing the Master I was very pleased with how it read the midland, and had power coming off the spot. It been great for me on the fresh as my house shot has a little bit higher volume, it handles the oil great. The Zen Master is going to be a killer on sport shots where I need a ball to blend out a tough pattern or reverse block. Also found that this ball responds very well to service adjustments to get that perfect shape your looking for.

This is the ball that I have been waiting for since the Idol was discontinued. This higher end, symmetrical solid reads the midline well and provides good angle as well. I mentioned the Idol before, but this ball also reminds me a bit of the Dare Devil Trick, an older high end symmetrical solid. These type balls are the ones that I lean on when I travel to keep me out of trouble and to allow me to get a fast start...the key word here is consistency. This ball doesn't do anything that you won't be expecting. Control, Consistency, Performance. I love this ball already! My Layout for this ball is 50x4.75x30 or 4.75x4x2 Balls that are currently in the bag: Zen- 50x4.25x65 UFO Alert-50x5x65 Dark Code- 50x4.25x65

With all the rave with the introduction of the original zen i couldnt wait to get my hands on the new Zen Master. This Ball is definitely living up to the hype of the zen name. This ball digs into the oiler and doesn't quit down lane. This is a perfect ball for when the original zen is just not enough to start the night off. If you have the Zen, The zen Master will be a no brainer top put in your bag. This will definitely be the best 1,2 punch of the 2021 season. Don't sleep on this piece you won't be sorry for picking up one of these gems!

Zen Master is a heavy hitter! Bowlers Info: RH tweener, PAP 4-1/2 x 7/8 up, 365 RPM, 17* of Axis tilt, 60* of Axis Rotation Ball Layout: 50 x 4.25 x 45 Finish: OOB with light 1500-grit polish The super popular Zen now has a heavy oil companion in the Zen Master. If you've been needing a ball with teeth and power, look no further. This ball is made for long or heavy patterns, it is one of the biggest pieces in my arsenal. I don't see heavy oiled patterns that often, so I decided to experiment and added a light amount of 1500-grit polish so that it would mimic lane shine and retain energy for me to play on more medium – medium heavy patterns. This turned out fantastic as my opening game ball for my league! This ball is a heavy rolling piece that shreds racks! Earlier than my Phaze 2, Reality and Idol pieces that I can use early in league and tournament play before transition kicks in as I couldn't move too far left with this one due to my lower speed. If you're a lower rev player or a speed dominant player, this one will definitely fit in your arsenal! Chris Martinez Storm Amateur Staff www.stormbowling.com

Another great addition coming to the Zen Line from 900 Global! Introducing the all new Zen Master. The Zen Master is a solid version of the original Zen. Solid coverstock with the same core and this thing packs a punch. The Zen Master I have found absolutely amazing on flatter patterns and shorter patterns because of how controllable the shape this ball creates. This ball really sigs in the oil and for how strong the coverstock is, this ball has no problem still continuing and getting the corners out. I defiantly see myself using this ball on a lot of tournament conditions on the fresh when I need to control the lane and the backends to start. From top to bottom, the SPI brand is making some amazing pieces and filling holes in my bag. I never go to a tournament missing a ball because of all of the amazing options we have from all the brands. If you don't have a Zen Master by now, I have no clue what you're waiting for. You probably see your competition striking a lot throwing this ball; so get yours at your local Storm VIP Pro Shop now!

Ball Specs: Core: Meditate Symmetric Core Coverstock: S77 Response Solid RG: 2.49 Diff: 0.051 Bowler Specs: Rev Rate: 300 Rpm Speed: 15.5 Mph PAP: 5 ⅜ over 1 ¼ up Video Ball Review: https://youtu.be/dqzTx8a5ibw With the popularity of the original Zen when I saw 900 Global was releasing the Zen Master I wanted to see how a solid version of this ball would react. I liked the stronger earlier roll of the original Axiom and wondered if this would be a good replacement for it in my arsenal and if it would be similar in overall reaction. When I compare the ball motion of both bowling balls on the house shots in my area this ball is just as early as the Axiom and with the out of box finish was just as slow when the ball would reach the dry at the end of the pattern. But as I rolled the ball more and more the cover would shine up and the ball became cleaner in the front of the lane, began to store more energy and read a little quicker off the dry. This was the last ball I drilled before we checked my PAP for future drillings. My PAP did change so the original layout of with a 4 ½ pin became a 3 ⅞ pin placement making this stronger symmetrical piece that flares more and rolls earlier for me. Instead of using this ball on house shots this ball gives me the option of a strong symmetrical ball for shorter sport patterns. Pete Dohan Storm Bowling Amateur Staff #StormNation

Zen Master Ball Review Hey everyone, I'm back with another ball review, and this time it's for the 900 Global Zen Master and in 15 pounds this ball is wrapped in the S77 Solid coverstock and comes at 3000-grit polish with an RG of 2.49, Diff of .051 with a layout of 5 X 3 1/8 X 2 5/8 Do you struggle on heavy or longer oil patterns? Well, the Zen Master is your ball of choice. This symmetrical heavy rolling ball has bailed me out of some tight patterns. I have found this ball to be good at digging into the lane and after a game or, so I was able to migrate to the left without the ball burning up. I have been able to stay in this ball for a few games before having to ball down due to the friction that has developed down lane. A good choice staying in the 900 Global line would be a shiny Zen or even the new Wolverine which is currently the only ball in the 700 series as of the time of me writing this review. Global 900 Zen Master - layout: 65 x 5 x 25 - 1500 grit sanded Ball test conditions: Practiced on 44ft THS on SPL and 46ft THS on older HPL Looking to replace a piece I feel I have been missing with the OG Idol was removed from the current line, I was excited to hear that the Global Zen Master was going to be released... So, to do a real good comparison, I drilled it to my most favorite Idol layout I used in the past. 65 x 5 x 25. For me, it looks like a over the label drilling with a delayed pin. The colors match very well on the ball, a little phasing even helps it I think, able to see the ball change motion better than the one color solids like the OG Roto Grip Idol. Was a little early on reading the patterns until the ball took on the lane shine, which I guess I could have taken up to fresh 4000, but I rather see how the ball changes as the lane shine on the cover takes on the change patterns as I use it. A little earlier off of the pattern and earlier into hook part of the motion, but still retain energy in the roll phase in the back end of the pattern and dry part of the lanes. Even using in the drier part of both patterns with a hand position change to add a little more forward roll, the ball held its own and did not hook early and did not lose any energy because it still had a great overall look on the back end. If you are looking for the OG Idol replacement - this Global 900 Zen Master is for YOU!

Layout: 5x5x2 Lane Pattern: house shot, 42 feet PAP: 5 7/8 over and 3/8 up Ball Speed: 15 mph I was late to the party on the Zen. Wasn't going to make the same mistake with Zen Master. Any time I can put a strong symmetrical ball in my bag, it's going to be a good day. When first seeing the RG and differential numbers on the Zen Master I wondered just how different it would be from a Phaze 2. For me, it's noticeably different. Still a super controllable shape, just much stronger and earlier than the Phaze 2. I went with the same layout on the Zen Master as I did on my Phaze 2 and it's a good 4-5 boards stronger for me. Ball is receptive to hand position changes. I was able to back my hand out and play between 1st and 2nd arrow and get it to tumble. Getting around it more and was able to move in between 3rd and 4th arrows and give the pocket away to around the 6-7 board. That's covering some real estate for me and gets through the pins. You're going to need oil up front for this one. I can see speed dominant players being able to stay a little further right in the dry and have success. If you're a little more rev dominant I don't see any issues with you moving inside and getting this one to turn the corner for you. This ball will appeal to a wide range of bowlers. Pairing this one with the original Zen is a great 1-2 combo for any bowler. Put a spare ball in the mix and you have a 3-ball arsenal that should be able to hit most league conditions if you're not inclined to bring a lot of equipment to league. I don't think you'll go wrong with this purchase.

The newest addition in the 900 Global the brand new Zen Master! This ball features the S77 Solid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Meditate Core seen in the original Zen! This ball will give you a early but continuous motion that is a little weaker than the Reality! My Zen Master is drilled pin over my bridge which is about 4 1/2 inches away from my PAP and I am a HUGE fan of this ball so far! The Zen Master is a tremendous compliment to the original Zen! The original Zen was that clean super angular reaction and this Zen Master will give you a very continuous motion like the Zen but you can use the Zen Master on more of the fresh lane conditions! To me this ball is very versatile and reminds me of a stronger Phaze 2 or Axiom! Head to your local pro shop on 8/27/21 and get yours today! This is a MUST HAVE IN YOUR BAG!

And plays amazing compliment to the original Zen... The Zen Master is 900 Global's Axiom/Idol shape. For me the Master fits into that stronger symmetrical solid slot. Distinguishing the Zen Master from the Axiom/Idol is fairly simple. Here is the order from strongest to weakest. Axiom, Idol, Zen Master, Phaze II. Relatively speaking, the Zen is closest to the idol in overall strength, but it has just a tad more shape down the lane. I have enjoyed success with the Zen master on House conditions and flat reverse blocks. It's controllable enough to relax my hand and tumble it, but it doesn't sacrifice downlane motion when I get my hand around it like the Axiom does.

The Zen Master is 2nd Zen ball from 900 Global. The Zen was and still a huge hit among bowlers. So they created the Zen Master. I drilled mine with a 5 inch pin down. To me the zen core (Meditate Symmetric) is a little early rolling for me. So with the stronger cover is why I decided to drill mine pin down. The Zen Master does roll early for me and has a slow response to the friction down lane. Which is a good thing for when your wanting to keep your angles a little closed and play up the lane and to control the backs when they are really clean. The Zen Master does remind me a little of the Phaze II but with a little less backend motion. I can see the Zen Master working well for the tougher lane patterns and the shorter patterns where you need control. High rev guys and 2 handers would also like the motion from the Zen Master as it shouldn't over bounce off the dry. Brian Watson Pro Shop Staff PAP - 4 up 1 1/8 Tilt - 17 RPM - 400 Speed - 16-17

900 Global Zen Master Ball Review by PJ Haggerty One of the most popular balls developed this year was the Zen by 900 Global. As a compliment to the Zen, the Zen Master was created. The Master has the S77 Response Solid Cover wrapped outside of the Meditate Symmetric Core and is designed for medium-heavier oil patterns. As of now, this is the strongest symmetric ball in the 900 Global Line. I've drilled one so far and really like it. With an RG of 2.49 and differential of .051, I wanted to drill it with the intent of something early, forward, and a slower response time. My goal is to use it on heavier volume and longer patterns. I mapped this out as 4 x 4 x 70. This puts the pin above my ring finger and I've left the surface alone too. I've noticed the Zen Master compliments some of the high-performance, asymmetrical balls really well, but more importantly, is an earlier, more round version of the original Zen. If you need a ball that digs in the mid-lane, is perfect for some of the higher volume patterns, especially on the fresh. Go drill a Zen Master! I think you'll be impressed!

With the proven Meditate massive symmetric core combined with the S77 Response Solid Reactive cover, the Zen Master lives up to the performance and excellence you can expect in the 900 Global line. So, let's take a look at how the Zen Master handled a THS. The Meditate core is an absolute must for straighter and down-and-in players like me. It's almost like having the best of both worlds. I love this core's ability to rev up early with its strong symmetric design. And because of its massive size and density, the Meditate core rolls off the pattern with a destructive force like that of a strong asymmetric. I felt comfortable and confident with the Meditate core's strong continuation through the pins, especially when I knew I had missed. Even those predictable ten pins were no match for the intensity the Meditate core provided early on in league conditions. There is no doubt in my mind the Meditate core produces results. If you are a high-speed/low-rev player like me, the S77 Response Solid reactive cover defines why the Zen Master is a must-have for your arsenal. Playing on fresh oil with the 3000 box finish, I could enjoy playing straight-up ten with ease. I like how this cover cuts its path cleanly through the front part of the lanes and has a biting turn-off the pattern. As the night began to transition, the S77 solid reactive cover continued to make the Zen Master perform flawlessly. I was able to move in and target 15 without any problems or second thoughts of where my line should be. And I like having that kind of confidence! On a different night, I surfaced the cover to 4000 grit Abralon as my goal was to see if I could get through three games with this cover's strength. And I was not disappointed - even for a high-speed/low-rev player like me, this ball delivered, and the S77 Response Solid Cover gets the job done. However, I recommend that players like me keep the S77 Response Solid cover at the 3000-grit Abralon box surface. And use the Zen Master on fresh oil and during the transition game where it will be most beneficial. In concluding my review of the Zen Master from 900 Global, I have found this ball to be a powerful piece of machinery for players like me. High-speed/low-rev players will find the Zen Master will deliver excellent results on fresh oil and medium THS conditions without hesitation. The Zen Master can stand on its own but would also be a great compliment ball between the Reality and Burner Solid from 900 Global. I would highly suggest talking to your local pro shop operator today and finding a place for the Zen Master in your arsenal! The Zen Master features the S77 Response solid coverstock and incredibly strong symmetric Meditate core. Global covers give you some semblance of their strength with the number in the cover name, S77 is getting up on the strong side and is currently Global's second strongest cover, and it feels like it's in Incite territory, or like the solid version of that coverstock would be the best frame of reference, it's really strong, early, and smooth. The Meditate core is the same one from the Zen, 2.49 RG and an .051 differential in 15 pounds, and it's very strong, early, and rolly, reminds me a lot of the Centripetal HD core from the Son!Q and Super Son!Q, so I think that's why the Zen has been so popular, it's the best of several different worlds. It's a really smooth and blendy ball that's squarely in Phaze 2 territory. I think it's actually a bit earlier and smoother, it feels like it's trying to roll a little sooner and it definitely rolls a bit heavier, but realistically the difference is pretty small. There aren't a lot of nuances to talk about here, the ball reaction is pretty straightforward. It hooks a lot and is really smooth.

The Zen master is the ball I was missing out of my bag. Its reliable, reads early, and continues. With the success of the original zen, its no surprise the zen master is this good. I have found success with this early on on house shots, and on a variety of sport patterns. I even had success with this on cheetah. It read up perfectly and didn't lose power as it rolled out. If you need a strong symmetrical ball, look no further.

I drilled my ZEN MASTER up 65 x 4.5 x 35 which is my go to drilling on most symmetrical pieces. I have left it box which is 3000abr. ZEN MASTER review: I have thrown my ZEN MASTER up against some of my other stronger pieces like the PROTON PHYSIX, INCITE, and REALITY. The ZEN MASTER is not quite as strong early as the PROTON or REALITY, but definitely moves earlier than the INCITE. The ZEN MASTER actually makes me think of the PHAZE II with how it shapes and reads the front compared to the big balls. I'm thinking this is just on the stronger side of a benchmark but I was able to get a good read on the lane with mine and make choices from there. I put the original ZEN up against it and obviously the ZEN is longer but the motion is very similar just a few feet further down lane than the ZEN MASTER. This one should be the 900 Global version of the PHAZE II and should be a great medium-strong piece with predictable motion.

The 900 Global zen for me is the perfectly versatile ball for oiled conditions. It give me great result even if I want to play straighter or more one side to the other of the lane. It's my benchmark ball to begin to play when I know that it have oil on the lane. If it's not enought agressive I will go with the reality, or the aspect if is too strong. It's also a ball that I will play a long moment before need to change it. She give me great result as long as it will have oil zone on the lane. So, the original zen is maybe the ball of the year but the zen master, the best complement of the year. #goglobal

The 900 Global Zen Master features the S77 Response Cover and the Mediate Symmetric Core. The Zen Master has a low RG of 2.49 a high differential of 0.051. To bring this all together, the solid S77 coverstock will rev up quickly going through the fronts and midlane and have a rounded shape on the backend. The layout chosen was a 60 x 3 x 40 which will give you a strong angular arc reaction shape, normal transition time and a hook/set ball roll. With this layout the Zen Master will be great on a variety of patterns such as a medium to long sport or a fresh house shot. I did a ball comparison to the 900 Global Reality, Zen and the Storm Dark Code. At two different houses, at Rainbow Lanes there was a THS down and at Before the First Frame in Henderson is the 45ft Dragon Pattern First up is the 900 Global Reality. The Reality features the S84 Response coverstock with the Disturbance core. The Reality is stronger on how it starts up sooner but downlane the Zen Master will keeps up with the Reality. Next is the 900 Global Zen. The Zen has the S77 Response Pearl cover and Mediate Symmetric core and a great compliment to the Zen Master. You will see how the Zen Master starts up sooner but the Zen will jump harder into the pocket where you can really open up your angles. The last ball in the comparison is the Strom Dark Code. The Dark Code features the REX cover with the Rad 4 asymmetric core. The Dark Code was weaker by 4 boards which will be great on the transition on either house or sport. In the Bag, the Zen Master will be the first out the bag followed by the Zen, the Dark Code, RST X-2 and Storm Hyroad.
