Global Altered Reality Cover stock S84 Pearl Reactive Asymmetric Core Salmon / Black / Silver Finish 1500 Polished Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 5" Over 1/2 up Rev Rate 300. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed at cameras 15.5 Review: This Ball is simply incredible! This is the most hook I have ever had with a polished ball and the hit is outstanding. I have drilled these up for many other people and the results have been impressive in performance and carry for many styles of play as long as there is oil. That being said, I have not had to put it away too quickly because it rolls great and carries as you move inside. I would say it kind of reminds me of a stronger, new and improved Halo pearl. I did not drill this ball too strong because with the new technologies the core and cover do not need much help from the layout. I think this ball is going to do what it's going to do and does it well! I have already racked up some big games and a few nice sets with this ball and I feel it will be my go to heavy oil shiny ball. The trust I have in this piece is already very high. This is a bit on the higher price scale but it is selling very well as folks see what it does on the lanes. Summary: The Altered Reality gives big hook and big hit! The Ball seems to like multiple styles and angles. This is one of the best balls I have rolled lately. The Altered Reality will have an immediate spot in my bag. With the Reality being such a great ball, it's nice to have that same core with a shiny cover. This ball is still very strong in oil like the Reality, but of course gives you a little more length and snap because of the cover. I like the Altered Reality with a little bit of surface - I used a 2000 pad - because it brings the breakpoint a little closer to me and smooths the ball out. I have this ball similar to the RST X2, and stronger than my UFO Alert. For me, the Altered Reality will bridge the gap between my Reality and Zen. I believe this ball will be great for house shots and for longer oil patterns. The 900 Global Reality was very popular throughout the different levels of bowling and I believe the all new Altered Reality will follow in its footsteps. The Altered Reality has the same Disturbance Asymmetric core as the Reality but features the S84 Response Pearl cover. I drilled mine 5 x 5.5 x 2, and after throwing this ball for a little while I was quite impressed on the motion it gave me. It was a lot cleaner than the original Reality because of the pearl cover but you can really see this ball pick up in the midlane. I was able to throw this ball on the fresh on Gateway Arch oil pattern but I had to make sure I projected the ball towards the gutter to make sure it didn't overreact and go high. I can see myself using this ball after the bigger asymmetrical solid balls in my bag and some of the stronger solid symmetrical balls towards the middle to late of blocks on longer pattern and maybe the fresh on other patterns if the lane surface has a little built up friction in the front part of the lane.

Altered Reality - Ball Specs Cover Stock: S84 Response Pearl Coverstock Finish: 1500 Grit Polished Core: Disturbance Asymmetric Core Layout: 50 x 5 x 40 RG: 2.49 Differential: 0.052 Intermediate Diff: .018 Review The Altered Reality features the disturbance asymmetric core with S84 Response Pearl Coverstock providing an RG of 2.49 (15lbs) and differential of 0.052 meaning the ball is clean through the front of the lanes with a very strong reaction on the backend. I tested this ball on a 42 feet typical house pattern with a lot of down lane transition. As mid to low rev player I struggle with ball reaction when the lanes breakdown and I'm forced to move left of the 25 board. I was standing between the 25 and 32 boards and rolling the Altered Reality to right, it continued to hit the pocket and continued to strike. My ball layout is 50x5x40. This ball is awesome. This ball will be in my bag for league and tournaments especially when there is down lane transition. This is a great ball for all levels of bowlers. Order one from your local pro shop today! This ball right here is a Monster!! My goodness, I took to this ball immediately. It gives me Volatility Torque vibes, but BETTER! The OG Reality was such a usable piece for me, pin up or down, sanded or polished, the reality was fantastic. Altered Reality with the pearl cover allowed me to get left and never worry about it not hooking. This ball doesn't bog down, it just keeps on coming back. This is already becoming a favorite of mine, first 2 games out of the box were 298, 300!s Layout for me is: 4.25x5.25x2 Other balls getting a lot of play: Dark Code-4.5x4.25.3.75 UFO Alert-4.5x5x3.75 Wolverine-4.25x5.25x2

Altered Reality 55 x 4 x 70 The Altered Reality is the perfect compliment to the original Reality! Its is cleaner through the front/mid lane and produces all of the hook down the lane. I would say it is a UFO Alert on steroids! This ball should match up to a variety of styles on all conditions and will be an asset in anyone's bag! Great shelf appeal mixed with fantastic ball motion is a nice combo! Get yours today!

Layout 60 x 5.5" x 70 3000 Surface When I first learned about the Altered Reality, I was very excited due to how much I enjoy the Original Reality. This new Altered Reality definitely does not disappoint and has become a staple in my bag almost immediately. I love it so much that I already drilled a second one. What I love about this ball the most is how much continuation it has for a pearl. The shape isn't overly angular but continues through the pin deck extremely well. This ball really has a hard time returning for me if I miss right and has no problem reading the heavier volume of oil on my typical house shot. This ball definitely needs some oil volume but has no problem being left to right (righty) for me whatsoever. I can get into 4th arrow and beyond before this ball starts to quit on me down lane. I adjusted the surface to 3000 to blend out the more "skid/flip" reaction I was seeing with the box finish. Taking off the polish immediately made a huge difference and made the ball more predictable while not losing much of the down lane shape at all. On the PBA Scorpion pattern, the ball allowed me to use the ball on the fresh and kept allowing me to move left with the transition. Comparative to the Reality, the Altered Reality has much more down lane shape while still reading the midlane fairly strong. I ended up drilling a pin up version as well (55 x 5.5 x 35). The pin up one not only complemented my pin down Altered Reality, but it created a lot of angle in the back part of the lane making it really ideal for the first transition from a solid converstock ball (Reality) or that ball that you need to create a lot of angle while not giving up the midlane read. For both medium to heavy house patterns and longer length sport patterns, this ball is going to be in my bag very consistently. Adam Chase Storm Staff

Altered Reality could be your next favorite ball! Bowlers Info: RH tweener, PAP 4-1/2 x 7/8 up, 365 RPM, 17* of Axis tilt, 60* of Axis Rotation Ball Layout: 65 x 4.5 x 45 Finish: OOB Tour and staff players have really enjoyed the versatility of the 900 Global Reality so it only made sense to release a pearl version of this piece. I drilled my Altered Reality the same way I drilled my Reality with pin above the bridge and PSA kicked right of the thumb. I couldn't have been more excited to see what I witnessed which was a clean, forgiving asymmetric! Normally, I don't prefer OOB, shiny pieces, especially on pearl assymetrics as they can be less controllable on the back end and create the over/under effect. HOWEVER, this is not the case for the Altered Realilty!! In comparison, it is not hockey stick motion like my Rubicon UC2 and it is cleaner than the Dark Code as my Dark wanted to read earlier, but I feel I can open my angles further with the Altered as it has amazing recovery from even 4-5 board down lane!! When I pulled it in the oil, it still had enough teeth in the cover to read the mids and get to the pocket, so it's a great fit between my UC2 and Dark Code pieces! This one's a home run by 900 and could be your new favorite ball!!! Chris Martinez Storm Amateur Staff www.stormbowling.com

For the bowler looking for tons of overall hook and angle the Altered Reality will not disappoint. For comparison purposes it is much more overall than the X2 and even UFO Alert. I drilled mine pin down to keep the ball more in front of me although I was very surprised how much I am able to open my angles with as I migrate left. The Altered Reality continues very well and strong as it makes it moves to the pocket. Thus far, I have had a tendency to start with this ball on the fresh and use it all the way through 3 games of league which is a rarity for me as I typically like to start with controllable solids. This ball is very versatile and will fit the repotoire of many different styles of bowlers.
