The After Dark Pearl is fantastic for the price that it's offered at. It's relatively strong for being a low priced bowling ball. I've thrown this ball on numerous patterns and too many to even list off the top of my head, but this ball I've found performs best when there is a medium volume of oil (24-26 units). The ball stops being useful after about 45' of oil for me, but has proven itself on anything shorter than this. The ball plays very well with surface and will indefinitely find its way into the full medium oil range with 1000 grit applied. This ball moves a lot for being at the bottom of the totem pole for price.
