The Viking Conquest doesn't wait. It leads the charge. 900 Global's most powerful heavy oil weapon yet, it's built for bowlers who need a ball that takes command from the moment it hits the lane. The RB 94 coverstock is the strongest cover rating since the new Global coverstock rating system was adopted, and paired with the battle-tested Strobe A.I. Core, it creates something formidable: a ball that reads the mid-lane with authority and drives hard to the pocket on the backend. This isn't brute force. It's calculated domination.

Viking Conquest
Ball Specs: Global Viking Conquest Cover Reserve 94 Blend Solid Reactive Strobe Asymmetric A.I Core Finish 2000 Grit Abralon Layout 4.5 x 4 x 2” Pin Buffer Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 5” Over 1/2 up Rev Rate 300. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed at release 17 Review: The new Global Viking Conquest is a very big hooking ball. The Viking Conquest is every bit as strong as my Alpha Crux A.I. The Conquest may read the lane a touch earlier, but the balls are very close it total boards. While I felt the original Viking went a little too long for me this is not the case with the Conquest. I was able to move far left (for me) and the ball never stopped. I am very happy with the motion, drive and carry I see from this ball. This ball will perform best in oil and on heavier sport or tournament patterns. I will put this ball above my Vengeance in total hook and at the top of my hook chart beside the Aloha Crux. The Viking Conquest was a great addition to the Global line and the massive hook potential makes me very happy. Summary: The Viking Conquest is a very strong ball. The roll and continuation through the pins is excellent. The Viking Conquest rolls as good as it looks. 900 Global Viking Conquest review by Lonnie Pemberton

The new 900 series release is a solid powerhouse called the Viking Conquest. Fans of the strength and versatility that you saw with the original Viking will be glad to have a version you can go to on the freshest oil conditions. Utilizing the same Strobe AI core from the Viking this time they wrapped it in the strongest cover used on any 900 Global ball to date; the RB 94 Solid. I tested the Viking Conquest at my home center on a longer Kegel Pattern with plenty of volume so I Could really get an idea of what they did with the new cover. I noticed right away the ball was picking up the mid-lane very aggressively. Even with the added volume I saw shape before the end of the pattern and the ball was pretty forward off the back of the pattern. I expected to be forced left with the length of the pattern but I could belly the ball much more on the fresh than I had expected. I had more forgiveness on small misses right as a result so I was pretty happy with the ball motion. I think the Viking Conquest will look best for speed dominant/rev challenged players and on higher volume patterns. I couldn't expect this to be in play much longer than game one on your typical house pattern. It could also find a spot in the bag for tougher sport conditions to help control down-lane reaction Check out my full video review: https://youtu.be/wP7NHPMuffM?si=ysWvr33qWR7vZPgs Lonnie Pemberton Storm Pro Shop Staff Vise Pro Shop Staff Revolutions Pro Shop Youtube Channel: https://youtube.com/@Revstormaz

favorite solid I have
I've been throwing the 900 Global Viking Conquest drilled 4 x 4 x 4, and it's been an excellent choice on heavier oil patterns. The layout gives me a strong, readable motion with an early midlane roll while still maintaining plenty of continuation through the pins. It never feels like it quits downlane, even on fresh, high-volume conditions. When I need traction and control without sacrificing hitting power, this is the first ball I reach for

Conquest Complete
The Viking Conquest is a lot smoother than what I was expecting and it rolls a little weaker to me than my Vengeance. It also seems to not be as over/under for me like the Viking was. I will be curious how this ball will be on some tougher conditions. 900 Global has definitely been making some really good equipment and has some shapes that the other brands might not have out. It really helps fill out most bowlers’ arsenals.

Conquest!
The Viking Conquest builds off the Viking name that was a favorite by many for its versatility across multiple patterns when some friction has developed. The Conquest is wrapped in RB94 solid which is 900 Globals strongest cover to date. The Conquest creates a lot of friction without sacrificing the ability to shape the lane. Balls like the Ion Max would have an issue with shaping as much as the Conquest can. The Viking Conquest is now available from any Storm VIP Pro Shop! 900 Global Viking Conquest – WWRD 6/26/2026
Coverstock: RB 94 Solid Weight Block: Strobe A.I. Core RG: 2.51 RG. Diff.: 0.052 Finish: 2000-Grit Abralon 900 Global’s new Viking Conquest is a Solid Asymmetrical piece that is good for Medium-Heavy Volume patterns. PAP is 5 5/16 R 1 3/16 Up. Rev Rate: 400. Speed: 16.5. I drilled this piece with the Pin up between the fingers, CG kicked out 1” from the palm, and 1.5” Left of the Mass Bias. 5 x 4 x 2 ½. I threw this piece on a Fresh 42’ house pattern. Out of Box ball motion started in the mids with a strong backend reaction through the pins. I had to play around 20-25 at the arrows to 8-10 downlane to stay right of the headpin. I compared this to the Viking. Viking was cleaner through the fronts with a sharper backend motion. If you are looking for a ball that hook in heavy oil piece this is it. 900 Global Viking Conquest
Layout: 50 x 4 ¾ x 35 Having the white in the coverstock of the Viking Conquest reminds me of another “big” ball that was an absolute house shot killer for me once the cover was line shined – the Crux Prime. With that reaction in mind, I hit the Conquest with a 3000 pad to mimic lane shine, and I got exactly what I hoped for – a strong arcing reaction that still comes around the corner with authority. This ball goes through the pins very well, also. At 3000, this ball will fit perfectly between the Alpha Crux AI (heavy oil), and the Bionic (medium/heavy to medium oil).

Viking Conquest
Coverstock: RB 94 Solid Reactive Finish: 2000-grit Abralon Core: Strobe A.I. RG (15lb): 2.51 Differential: .052 The 900 Global Viking Conquest is one of those balls that stood out to me right away because of how strong yet controlled the motion is. With the new RB 94 Solid coverstock being the strongest cover 900 Global has released, I expected a ton of hook, but what impressed me more was how smooth and predictable the reaction was. The ball reads the lane earlier than some of my other stronger pieces, but it doesn’t overreact or burn up energy. Instead, it creates a stable motion through the mid-lane and gives me confidence to stay in the pocket as conditions change. The Strobe A.I. Core really complements the cover by revving strong while staying balanced and controlled throughout the lane. What I liked most was how the Viking Conquest continues through the pins. Even though it reads earlier, it still stores enough energy to create excellent continuation and hitting power without feeling jumpy off the spot. Compared to other strong asymmetrical balls, this one gives me more control while still finishing hard through the deck. It feels like a great option for fresh conditions and heavier volumes, especially when I want something stronger than a benchmark solid but don’t need the total hook of the biggest asymmetrical pieces. If you’re looking for a ball that blends traction, predictability, and strong carry, the Viking Conquest fills that spot really well and deserves a place in the bag.

900 Global Viking Conquest
The Viking Conquest from 900 Global features the all-new RB 94 Solid coverstock, which is the strongest cover ever released under the 900 Global brand. I drilled mine 4 x 4.5 x 2 and was immediately impressed by the smooth, predictable motion this ball creates. The Viking Conquest reads the lane earlier than my Alpha Crux, yet it doesn't produce as much overall hook as the Ion Max, making it a perfect option when you need control without sacrificing continuation. What stands out most is how smooth this ball is down lane. It never feels overly aggressive or jumpy off the spot, allowing you to stay confident as conditions transition. If you were a fan of the Equinox Solid and have been looking for something stronger, but don't need the total hook potential of an Ion Max, you're going to want to take a serious look at the Viking Conquest. The Viking Conquest fills an important spot in the bag, bridging the gap between benchmark solids and the strongest asymmetrical pieces on the market. This is a ball that will excel on fresh conditions and heavier volumes while maintaining the control competitive bowlers are looking for.

The Viking Conquest is all power, strength, and control, wrapped into one extremely hard-hitting weapon for any player’s arsenal! From my first roll, it was clear that the combination of the Strobe A.I. Core and the RB 94 Solid coverstock makes the Viking Conquest an outstanding release from 900 Global. So, let’s break down the Viking Conquest and take a look at what makes it such a success! The Strobe A.I. Core is the perfect blend of strength, precision, and balance. As a straighter player, I loved how the Strobe A.I. Core revs powerfully yet methodically in the mid-lane and takes control of its path as if it had a guided laser attached to it. The Strobe A.I. Core may rev hard for a straighter player like me, but it doesn’t lose any of its striking power when it comes off the pattern. Unlike other strong asymmetric cores that tend to roll out for straighter players like me, the Strobe A.I. Core gave my Viking Conquest an incredible amount of stored energy that exploded at the pins. Light hits sent the pins swirling; high-flush hits blasted the pins straight back into the pit. As long as I was close to the pocket, the Strobe A.I. Core provided relentless continuation that carried even the weakest of my shots. So, if you’re a straighter player like me, you can count on the Strobe A.I. Core to deliver the results you can depend on. The RB 94 Solid Coverstock is by far one of the most lane-gripping coverstocks you could ask for, yet it is also one of the most predictable and stable coverstocks any straighter player could want. On fresh oil, the RB 94 does a wonderful job of gripping the mid-lane without being too overbearing, and it creates a stable, smooth motion that straighter players love to see. Further, what I liked about the RB 94 Solid is that it lets the Viking Conquest breathe through the lane. That “breathing” enables a clean motion throughout the entire lane, rather than the ball smothering in the mid-lane, which only burns up its power at the back end. So, although the RB 94 Solid is the strongest 900 Global coverstock to date, it is also one of the most reliable and predictable coverstocks any straighter player would love to have in their arsenal for heavy oil. So, whether you are a straighter adult THS bowler or a younger Junior Gold pattern bowler, the RB 94 Coverstock will certainly bring excellent results you can count on to keep you striking on higher volumes of oil. In closing, the 900 Global Viking Conquest is a beautifully crafted, powerful weapon to add to any player’s arsenal. Straight players will love the raw power of the Strobe A.I. Core combined with the gripping traction of the RB 94. If I had to compare the Viking Conquest, I would say it is smoother in the mid-lane than the Storm Ion Max and crisper and more powerful off the pattern than the Storm Equinox Solid.
