Motiv Supra Bowling Ball

Introducing the MOTIV® Supra™, a ball created specifically to push the limits. Combining an extreme, dual density core with a sideways pearl reactive cover, the Supra is capable of more down lane motion than any MOTIV® ball ever created for light-medium oil. The Impulse weight block used in the Primal Rage has proven over the last 8 years that it is both reliable and great for creating sharp down lane motion. With the Supra™, we modified the design and pushed the limit to create the new High Impulse™ weight block. It gives the 15# model a 2.57 RG and .050 differential. The high RG spins slowly through the front part of the lane, retaining energy, while the dual density weight block and high differential take over to produce a violent skid-flip backend reaction. Infusion™ Pearl Reactive cover stock adds to the snap created down lane by the High Impulse weight block. This cover provides ease of length with a pronounced response to friction at the end of the pattern. Utilizing technology from the RipCord and Forge Fire, the Infusion™ Pearl Reactive cover is the first pearl version in this cover system, offering greater length and more angle.

Layout: 70 x 4 3/4 x 40 PAP: 4 3/4 x 3/4 up This ball is fantastic. As a brand new staff player to the Motiv brand, I am off to great start and it happened with the Supra. I utilized this ball on the Mark Roth pattern in our Sport League and the very game out of the box...298!! I finished the night 779 and was nothing short of astounded by this balls performance. Very nice through the fronts and early midlane...nice predictable move on the backends with no surprises. I truly believe this is a must have for your arsenal. Carl Cramer Motive Staff Player

The MOTIV Supra features MOTIV's super clean Infusion Pearl coverstock. This cover gives you an insane amount of length, allowing the ball to retain almost all of its energy for a sideways explosion at the pin deck. This formulation of the cover is appropriate for light-medium lane conditions. Basically, when the lanes dry out and you need to move left, the Supra is a phenomenal go-to ball to help you not lose any carry or hitting power when you need to get deep inside when the oil dries out. If that's what you're looking for, then look no further. The Supra fits the bill perfectly! The layout I used on the Supra is 55-4 ¼-25. This ball is very clean through the fronts with plenty of angle downlane. When the lane starts to dry out, and you need to open up your angles the Supra is the ball to go to. I will be using this ball a lot in tournaments when I need to get left and open up my angles to the friction but still have enough downlane motion to get the corners out. This ball was created to push the limits in the MOTIV line of bowling balls. The MOTIV Supra is capable of more down lane motion than any other MOTIV ball ever created for light-medium oil. It features a modified Impulse weight block, made famous by the Primal Rage, in combination with the Infusion Pearl Reactive cover stock. The Infusion cover provides ease of length with a pronounced response to friction at the end of the pattern. It adds to the snap created down lane by the High Impulse core, creating impressive backend reaction and outstanding continuation. It will be a great fit in your bag on light to medium oil. The high RG spins slowly through the front part of the lane, retaining energy, while the dual density weight block and high differential take over to produce a violent skid-flip backend reaction. The Supra will become that ball you can count on when you need length and backend recovery, store it's energy and continue through the pin deck. My Supra is laid out pin up (above my ring finger), the cg very slightly shifted to the right (no extra hole). This ball has already found a place in my bag and drives through the pins with easy from any angle. If you are looking for that go to ball that will clear the fronts, recover from what seems like anywhere, has continuation and awesome hitting power. Look no further, you've found it. The layout I used on the Supra is 55x4x30. If you are wanting a ball that is really clean and really fast off the spot... look no further than the Motiv Supra!! This is a ball that can use on drier lane conditions or when the pattern breaks down. When angles need to be open, this ball can do just that. When the Venom Recoil is leaving flat corners for me, I immediately know I can go to this one, make a small move in, and see those corners get snapped out. This ball WILL store energy for the pins. The Motiv Supra features the Infusion Pearl Reactive Cover wrapped around the High Impulse core. This cover is a pearl version of the Infusion cover used on the RipCord and Forge Fire (Two of my favorite balls in my bag right now). The Infusion Pearl cover is marketed to be clean with tons of backends. I went pin above my ring finger which is the same layout as my RipCord. For me, Motiv delivered on their word and created a beast of a ball in the backends. The Supra is significantly cleaner through the fronts and gives me more back end motion than my RipCord which is perfect for when the RipCord is too strong. My first time throwing the Supra was during a 4-gamer and was the only ball I threw games 2-4. I was able to create more angle than anyone on the pair. To compare, I moved about 3-4 boards right off my Recoil, and 2 boards right off my RipCord. This is a great option when the lanes burn up and you're looking for something to get down the lane without worrying if it'll over hook or be too weak to come back. This is a great combo with something like a Blitz, Recoil, or Venom Shock for league. Adam Yoshii Motiv Bowling and Vise Insert Staff Just Bowling Pro Shop

The title says it all. Great things have been coming out of Muskegon and the Supra is no exception. This ball features the Infusion cover stock from the Ripcord with a modified version of the Impulse core found in the famous "Red ball". Made for friction this ball has the fastest response to friction of any ball I have ever had. During league when the lanes break down and I need to get left, this is the piece I grab. It's very clean through the fronts and mids but once it hits the "spot" it turns. This ball really allows me to open up my angles when I need to without compromising carry. I would definitely recommend this ball to anyone looking to fill a hole in their arsenal.

The Motiv Supra features the proven Impulse weight block with a tweak to the RG and Diff. With that, we have the High Impulse weight block with an (15 lb) RG of 2.57 and diff of .050. The core alone screams length. So let's check out the cover. Infusion Pearl, hmm. The RipCord uses the Infusion and the Forge Fire uses the Infusion Hybrid. If those 2 balls have show us anything, its that they corner really well. The Supra is no different. It has extremely easy length and will clear the fronts on almost any pattern. This ball really corners hard and that is where this ball is different than any other ball in the lineup. It is cleaner than both the Hydra and the Ripcord with more angularity than any Motiv ball I have thrown. It's the original #redball (Primal Rage) juiced! The price point is fair and this ball combined with the Tank Blitz yield a mean 1-2 punch for house shots. Elliott Askey Motiv Staff

The all new supra is a great light oil ball. This ball comes with the High Impulse core along with the Infusion Pearl Reactive coverstock. It has a 5,500 LSP finish. This ball is a great piece. Even though this ball is on the lower end of the ball chart, this ball hits with power. It has a quick response to the dry which makes this ball seem stronger than what it is. First week with this ball already saw me throw 2 perfect games. I held a motiv test drive and this ball along with the Forge FIre were the best sellers. Kye Shipley MOTIV STAFF MEMBER

Layout: 70 x 4 ¼" x 40 Get revved up for the most skid-flip ball reaction that MOTIV has produced to date. The appropriately named Supra brings a hard-charging performance to the ball chart in the light-medium line of equipment. This is the first pearl offering for the Infusion coverstock technology. Combing this high-octane cover, finished at 5500LSP, with the brand-new High Impulse core (2.57RG, .050Diff) derived from the legendary Primal line, has created an impressive angular motion to attack broken down lanes. Knowing the Supra was a faster, slightly weaker, little brother to the Rip Cord, I put a stronger pin to PAP layout on it so that I could use it earlier in the day as the typical house shots I bowl on do not break down far enough to where this ball will shine. I also decided to hit it with a 3000 pad since I could have shaved in its reflection out of box. By fine tuning this vehicle to my specific wants, I unleashed a beast of a ball when the burn arrives and all that remains is stepping left. Usually around game three for me a large amount of fiction has developed to the right while the soupy middle remains relatively untouched. What the Supra allows me to do is step left into this earlier oil to allow the ball to glide to that burned track area then watch as a dramatic left turn is made to get back into the pocket. The further left I get with this ball, the more impressed I become as I have yet to find a 'stopping' point where I see any diminished reaction due to too much angle. So far in league the greatest angle I have played was laying down at 33 and crossing the arrows at 23. Even with this launch vector the Supra had no issues drifting the corner to come screaming back at the pocket. I have even been able to combat the carry down created by urethane equipment with this ball as I can push my breakpoint further right to get around it, knowing that climbing a steep angle back to the pocket is simple for it. Clean and fast. Those two words aptly describe the MOTIV Supra. While it and oil do not get along all too well, it is best friends with friction. If you're needing high performance when the lanes are scorched, this ball provides what you need and more. Drive sideways on those lanes my friends. This one intrigued me. I never got the chance to use the highly successful Primal rage with the Impulse Core. The Impulse core was pushed to the extreme with a high Rg of 2.57 allowing it to retain even more energy. The cover is the third variant of the Infusion cover with it being pearl. I really enjoyed the RipCord and had high hopes for this piece. First off, the color is fantastic and it is very clean to the break point. The response to the friction was predictable and strong with good continuation through the pin deck. The Supra will be in my tournament bag for sure for when I need ease through the fronts and a quicker response to friction later in the block. Motiv is 100% correct in saying it is the most angular ball in their lineup. Motiv Staff Eric George No Nickles Pro Shop Owner/Operator

By Bryan Ramsey From Phillipsburg, NJ About Me Motiv Regional Staff Be ready for a sideways turn Let's start out by saying this ball gets downlane with a hard violent turn left, perfect piece for those light to medium oil conditions. I've been using the Supra so far in the lighter oil clubs and it really does the job. Ball shreds the rack with great carry. This ball will really allow you to move left and attack those steeper angles you normally wouldn't be able to play. Supra will work for many different styles no matter what level you're on. Do yourself a solid and pick up one of these sideways monsters, another great release from Motiv bowling. #SUPRA SIDEWAYS

Motiv Supra Review: The Supra is Motiv's new Light/Medium oil ball. Don't let it fool you though! The Supra is the most angular ball Motiv has made to date. I drilled mine 85x5x45 it allows me to move in and just bang it off the dry. But It also fits many different styles and is the ball to throw when you need the extra length and not have to worry about it not making the turn down lane. Motiv Staffer Sean Mackie

Super Supra! This ball is UNREAL! when you need something to get through the front part of the lane and still have the strength to recover/drive on the backend this is the ball! The ball reacts to friction like nothing else in the line, and it is super clean through the front! The ball does not disappoint. Tim Emmers Motiv Staff

Review: The Supra is one of the latest releases from MOTIV Bowling products. You want long and angular than look no further than the Supra. The Supra is built with an all time favorite core and pearl Cover stock that will give MOTIV fans than shape that will push the limits a bowling ball can do. We brought back the Impulse core that was in the Primal Rage and combine that with the Infusion Pearl Reactive Cover Stock that gives the Supra sharp, down lane motion with a heck of a lot back end motion through the pins and don't worry about length because you get that and more with the new Supra from MOTIV Bowling products. Weight Block High Impulse Cover Stock Infusion Pearl Reactive Finish 5500 Grit LSP Comments: This is the part of the review I love to talk about which is my honest review and honestly this bowling ball is special. When it was announce that the Impulse core was making a comeback, I was itching with anticipation getting this bowling ball in my hand and it has not disappointed. My all time favorite shape is long and strong motion and the Supra is exactly what that is. This is by far the longest bowling ball on the market. It will get down the lane with ease but then my god the sharp, backend motion is absolutely insane and the drive through the pins is just wow. When we say special, we mean it and this bowling ball is special. Higher rev players will love the Supra because when bowling on higher friction conditions, the Supra will give you the length you need. Medium to higher rev players I feel will like it because of the length and backend motion as lanes break down so you can stay in your comfort zone. Likes: length; Strong and sharp backend motion Dislikes: None I recommend this bowling ball for all types of bowlers MOTIV Staff Player, John Robertson www.motivbowling.com
