Brunswick Command Zone Arc Bowling Ball

(7 reviews) Write a Review

Wishing for improved mid-lane recovery and better utility on heavier oil? Your wish is our Command Zone ARC. We took Command Zone and gave it a lower RG core for a ball that's clean through the front (with more reaction in the mid-lane than Reactive coverstocks typically deliver), and still delivers the strong reactive backend you desire.

CZA is drilled 4.5 X 5.5. It is a very good medium condition ball that does not perform well on either extreme - dry or wet. CZA provides excellent length for a Zone. The CZA reads the midlane and seems to know when to turn the corner for the pocket. Very forgiving as it recovers stronger when missing outside of target and holds line when missing inside target. Ball is also forgiving of speed. CZA is utilizes N'Control coverstock which is much cleaner through the heads than PowerKoil 18, but provides a strong angular arc to the pocket.

What can I say, I love this ball!! I picked this up off of E-bay and took it to my favorite pro shop to get it fitted and restore the factory finish. I have to tell you this ball glides smoothly down the lane. I has a nice move towards the pocket and it hits the pins really hard. This ball sends messengers everywhere. If I miss my mark the ball always seems to to find the pocket ( or pretty near it). This has become my main ball. I threw a 16lb Storm ER, but I didn't get the reaction with that ball that I do with my Command Zone ARC. I don't blame the Storm, it just didn't fit my style. If you get the opportunity, pick up a Command Zone ARC.

this ball has helped me a ton in my lil bowling start this was the 4th ball i drilled up since i went up to 14 pounds this ball helped me reach my 4th place in the Florida state tournament, on this ball i have shot 257,244,268, and a 680 and 699 series which is pretty good for me and this ball can eat up some oil when sanded but when polished it will skid snap reaction the ball is one of the first things i pull out to start a tournament or leauge play and i have reccomended this ball to a few others and it has helped out there game as well as mine,

This is the second Command Zone Arc that i have had and i really like this ball. I had it drilled to go long and then snap the first time. The one that i have now is drilled to have a gradual arc. It did have the original finish on it but on the second game with it the machine chewed it up so now it is polished. Still have no complaints even though. This ball is mid priced now that is discontinued so i think that you get your moneys worth seeing as you can get this ball bought and drilled for about 100 to 110 dollars.

This was the biggest waste of money I have spent on a bowling ball in a long time. Always over hooked. Never carried very well! I gave the ball every effort and chance. Never reaped any rewards. Never found any one who liked this zone. I did like the way it rolled down the lane but hit like do do. On slow lanes it started rolling in my back swing. This ball put me in the worst slump of my career. I love Brunswick equipment and this ball almost made me quit bowling. So beware! There was no Commanding the arc this ball made!

This ball has about a 1 inch pin out and I had this ball drilled between 12 and 1 oclock with the pin about an inch below the ring finger, and some positive weight. The first time I went bowling with it I was throwing it over the 3rd arrow on to the 3 board and it was coming back with no problem. This ball had kind of a foward roll into the pins. the ball on dry lanes will always overhook and it will not get any lenghth what so ever so I would suggest to buy this ball if you or bowling on oiled down senthetics. The pin action on this ball is great and it has very good recovery. Well thats all I really have to say, there is hardly any dislikes on this ball but when the lanes are real dry.<scri
