Visionary Red Sorcerer Bowling Ball

(5 reviews) Write a Review
The Fireball Red Sorcerer represents a new breakthrough in Urethane technology. By pushing the limits of polymer compatibility and complementing that with our High Pressure Technology, we have produced a urethane bowling ball that approaches reactive back end strength without sacrificing the controllability of urethane. The telltale phasing swirls and streaks are characteristic of the technology and are similar to the phasing typically seen in reactive urethane balls. We feel this new technology will be of great interest to bowlers seeking stronger back end action but who do not want the sometimes erratic action of reactive urethane balls.

I use this ball mostly for spares. It does quite well. Can also be used for a strike ball when the lanes are med to heavy oiled. Becareful using this ball on dried out lane conditions. Too much reaction. OVerall this is a great ball for the buck. I use it every league night. Seldom let me down. Reminds me of my Purple Hammer. Urethane balls still are the most consistent balls on the market (in my opinion). Visionary has done a great job with this ball. Will definitely use Visionary products as long as I am bowling. Nice ball.

Recently I have been having difficulty bowling in the area I live in. The major reason for this problem, is that the lanes have become extremely wet/dry. Reactives, including those that are tamer coming screaming out of the dry way to hard. I decided to give a urethane a shot figuring it would help reduce the problem I had. The three balls I was looking at were the sorcerer, thunder flash, and black messenger. I decided to give the sorcerer a try because of the recent luck I have had with Visionary products. Some stats on me: Tweener 15.5 - 16.5 (normally depending on condition) Hand (450 - 500 rpm) I punched up the sorcerer 5 x 4 hoping to get the ball into a slightly earlier roll with still enough hit on the back. I will say that I was extremely suprised when I threw this ball. This ball is like not urethane I had ever throw in the past, it is a complete monster. On a normal house shot oiled to about 37 feet this ball reved up quickly off my and and arced the entire lane. Th

for a moderately-priced ball, red sorcerer works well in moderate oil conditions. It is very consistent when the oil is evenly spread across the lane, but not when the oil is heavily applied. It doesn't convert spare shots involving just the 7 or 10 pins very well, so make sure you invest in a good spare-shooting ball. i recently took this ball to a college bowling regional qualifier. it consistently performed on wood conditions, and the last game I shot a 163 with the ball. It was very good considering that I only got the ball two days before the event, and I'm still trying to truly figure out the ball.

this is not your average urethane ball. when visionary says strong, please listen. the core and the cover match up very well, in the out of the box condition the ball handles the medium oil conditions very well. ball makes a nice, controllable even arc to the pocket. hits very hard for urethane. polish the ball up some (cover tunes easily) and you can use it on light to very short oil. all in all i am very pleased with this ball, even better since i won it on there website contest. if you have never tried a visionary ball, throw one and you will be pleased
