It was purchased to not overhook, and it does not. This ball is incredibly erratic. I have a fairly consistant release point, but it looks like I have no clue when I through this thing. I think there were better balls to get at the time for what I needed. Track has made better balls than this. This was the black sheep of their line at that time. I have since purchased a blue dot for my dry lane needs. I will post a review for that in a couple weeks. I have several other Track balls and love all of them.
