The Heat2 or the "Repo" ball as it's now referred to, found it's way into my arsenal during a Saturday practice game on the carrydown... I've come a long way since taking that ball off the rack and getting it into my bag... My average has drastically climbed, and while I can't attribute it to the Heat2, it certainly was part of it... As for the review, the ball tracks out fairly well... I have only a 1.5-2" pin, but I can still turn the heck out of the ball... Nice long shot on oil with backend, but I've found it very useful on that crazy carrydown I so often see... The ball's early roll, combined with heavy block allows it to turn on even the littlest of friction... While the hit isn't the best in the world, this ball will at least find the pocket while my other expensive balls will not... Ideal ball if you can find this for cheap, and it seems very resilient, as I have done nothing to the surface of the ball since it's repossession, and I have a good 100-120 games on it (plus the

If you play within the ball's ability, (i.e.Don't try to swing it in oil or play down and in on dry) You can empty your lockers and sell your rollers 'cause this is the only ball you'll ever need. My last one finally died after what seems like 1,000's of games and I'm searching for a new one. Track just released the ThReat which has the same tri-core as the Heat 2 but with the WOW II Shell. I'm gonna give it a try but doubt it'll be the same. Find one and tell "Chitown79" if he can't stand the Heat - Stay out of the Kitchen!!

I'm telling you I don't care what anyone says about this ball. Drilled correctly this ball can be AMAZING. Unfortunately I didn't have it very long as it got stolen but, here's my review while I had it. The ball went REAL long with a HUGE backend. It reminds me of a pit boss on steroids with better carry. The thing went every bit of like 10-15 feet before the pins and SNAPPED back to the pocket just crushing the rack. pin was above ring finger about 2 inches about cg kick out and this thing was absolutely amazing. I will DEFINATELY be getting one and would recommend this to anyone on a med-heavy oil shot, just not flooded and not dry. This thing will blow away the competition, like I said you just have to get it drilled correctly for you and you're in there like swim wear. :-D The Prodigy.

Non consistent. if there's a spot of oil on the lane it will just drift with no reaction. leaves pocket 7-10.. unreal on how this ball will not Carry a thing... Will do nothing but collect dust or be thrown on a ball rack in your house. Please save money up for a real ball, try for a 3-d or the new vicious. Or better yet, the el nino gold 2001, great ball. that heat 2 is nothing but GARBAGE!!!!!!! Unless your goal is to drop your average to sandbag in your league while u actually TRY to do your best. then by all means, BUY THIS BALL!!!!!!!!!!!<

Great middle of the road ball! I went with a 16 pounder and sometimes it can drive right through the pack and leave a few. I may not be the weight though.. it could just be that I don't know how to handle the ball or the bowling god did not want to smile on me (grin). I think it is a little unneccessary to enter 100 words minimum for this space. But if you really want me to type: ONE HUNDRED WORDS... ONE HUNDRED WORDS... ONE HUNDRED WORDS... ONE HUNDRED WORDS... ONE HUNDRED WORDS... ONE HUNDRED WORDS... ONE HUNDRED WORDS... ONE HUNDRED WORDS...

My Heat 2 is drilled in a 3 3/8 by 4 1/2 pattern. I had one a few months ago that was stacked 3 3/8 x 3 3/8, and it was WAY too much ball. I like this one much better. Normally it produces almost no midlane roll, which is okay on a house condition. I have tested it on wood, normal house shot (7 to 7 oiled to 32 feet, buffed to 36 with semi-clean backends) and on wood, longer, flatter house shot (3 to 3 juiced 42 feet, buffed to 46, semi clean backends). Then once it clears the heads it is ALL PUNCH on the backend. I mean wow. I didn't think the drill pattern was that agressive, but it really unloads. This ball has accounted for all my 700s this season. Definitely the #1 ball out of the bag, even a head of my Rock-On that I love so much. One problem with the ball-if the oil is too long, the ball will not roll. It curves, and produces weak pocket hits on long patterns and carrydown. So find some dry to bump it off of for best results.
