This ball is supposed to go long and then make an aggressive move to the pocket. Even with an aggressive ski/flip layout, the ball was not angular. The ball did not hit hard. Tried the ball on several alne conditions, but could never find a scenario that I liked. Changed the surface, dulled it down,in an attempt to change the balls roll. All that accomplished was making it go straight. Gave the ball away as opposed to making it a boat anchor. I love Track equipment so it is hard for me to give a bad review, but this ball earned this poor review.

I got this ball drilled 90 with the pin down. and so far it does not do as much as i thought it would. This ball hits so freakin hard its stupid. on medium its good and it has a lot of room to play with. and on dry the ball hooks staight into the left gutter .the only thing good is that it hits like a tank (HA HA (Tank) . after all of that i wnt and tried it on sport shot and it was a little better i like this ball so far. I tried to dull it I got a decent reaction but sometimes it rolled out very early.

Got this ball with the recommendation from Chuck Gardner while at a Track lesson given by Mike D'Ambrosio Coachs Corner in Rockville Centre. Laid out pin above ring finger with cg swung an inch out. Great length with a hockey stick reaction. I use this ball when me reactives track out and can't handle the carrydown. I love the way it revs up and crushes the pins. I must say this ball always stays in my bag and hope I can use it at the Nationals in Texas. Thanks Mike, Chuck and Jeff for the lesson. Maybe I will try the Reactive next, hmmmm...9<

I am submitting this review for my 14 year old son. The comments are his... The first time that I rolled this ball it was awesome. After about 10 games it was starting to over react. I couldn't figure it out. I was starting to rely on my Slash for everything. So I discussed the issue with a well known ball driller and he had the answer. He said to keep the Arsenal Angular polished and always wipe it after each shot. Wow! After taking his advice, this ball turned into a monster. My score is averaging near 200 or more per game now. This ball has a hook like no other. Extremely hard and sharp turn to the pocket. Makes a loud boom and there are no pins left on the floor. Now I am anxiously awaiting the winter youth league to watch the pins fly. My next choice will be the Arsenal Reactive for heavy oil.

Very impressive ball. I had the ball drilled with the pin above and in between the finger holes. I drilled it for length and minimum hook but this ball still hooks like a bat out of hell. I had to slow my speed down so the ball could make a nice move to the pocket. If I throw it my normal speed, it will make a small move to the pocket but leave weird splits. Once I figured out I needed to slow down my speed, it was like throwing a different ball. Overall a very nice ball from Track. Complements my freak-a-zoid quite well.

I bowl in a wood house with cooked heads. 38 Ft pattern with a buff to 42-ft. Wood lanes. Ball speed 18-19 mph. Med. revs. This arsenal has a 4-5 pin. Drilled it with the pin under the ring finger, which left my thumb ½" below the cg. So had to use 1 3/8 thumb slug to get out some of the top weight. And a weight hole 13/16 2.5 inches deep on my grip line. Ball is very clean through the fronts and lives up to its name angular and strong on the backend. Good midlane read. And if you thought the Freak a Zoid was strong this ball is 5 more boards stronger and harder on the break point. Another great Track Mid Performance Plus ball. Remember bowlers when done bowling clean your equipment with Track Clean N Dull. Bsuproshops.com Track Amateur Staff

I just ordered my 2nd one, and can't wait to get it! Ball is drilled pin under ring, cg in my palm, factory surface on it! Ball gets through the heads VERY easy, and makes a BIG move at the breakpoint, almost as big as the Xception. Ball keeps the pins low which is great for pin carry! Ball will skate on the VERY HEAVY stuff, and will be too strong when you hit the desert, but anywhere in between, this ball shines! Just a tad sooner than the Xception with a tad less backend, due to the Angular being particle vs the GOO LS reactive cover of the Xception! A great 1-2 punch when used with the Arsenal Aggressive!

I drilled both the Arsenal Angular and Arsenal Aggressive with the same layout: pin 4 1/2 inches from my PAP just under the ring finger. These two balls compliment each other extremely well! I can start with the Aggresive model on freshly oiled lane conditions and I get a strong midlane reaction that still has enough energy to recover and hit the pins with lots of energy. As the lanes breakdown, I can switch to the Angular model and I get the extra length I need to keep the ball on line to the pocket. This ball is very clean through the front part of the lane and has a very strong flip when it hits the backend of the lane. This ball has a little bit more length than my Xception and slightly less overall hook than the Xception.<scri

This may be my favorite ball. I drilled this with the pin above the ring finger, and the cg kicked right about an inch. This is a particle ball, but reacts like a reactive. It is clean through the front and mid lane, and has a great backend reaction. It is a very versitile ball, I feel I can play anywhere on the lane with this ball. It still has an earlier hook than a reactive ball, which makes it a great fit between the Aggressive Arsenal, and a reactive such as the Rule or Slash. The control and power in the Arsenal series makes them great choices on long patterns, and still gives you predictable reactions.

I drilled this ball with pin above and between fingers with CG out 1/2 inch from center of grip no hole. The reaction I got with this ball was amazing. It rolled up nice in the mid-lane and still made a move on the back. The light hit seemed to carry every time. This is one strong ball!!!! After using this ball for a few weeks I'm still amazed at the carry I get when I come in light. I am able to keep moving left with this ball as the lanes begin to breakdown without losing carry.<scr

Pros: Get down the lane and has a great strong move on the back ends! Cons: none as of yet Lane Condition bowled on= fresh oil 42ft on new synthetic hpl lanes. Bowling style= Right Handed semi Cranker, 18-19 mph ball speed. Ball condition= Brand new in box surface condition layout=Drilled pin below and in between the fingers, cg, swung rt about 3". No weight hole. My PAP is 5" over, and 3/4" up. I was in complete awe when i first threw the Angular. Great choice for your first ball out of the bag on league night. this particle pearl has a very strong reaction back end reaction, and gets good length. Carry down doesn't seem to be an issue. I have used this ball in 4 different houses, all with different lane patterns, and have been very successful, and satisfied. I wouldn't suggest it for extreme heavy oil, or shorter sport patterns.

My new favorite ball. The Angular is awsome. I have 2 to review for you. These were drilled by Jason Guest of J.G. 300 Pro Shop in Ottumwa, IA. Ball #1 - Started with a 4" pin. Drilled this 4 1/2 x 2 pin above ring finger, large hole on axis. Left with box finish. This ball is awsome. Easy length with a trace of head oil and nice recovery. This is the longer of the 2 and has a sharper breakpoint. I use this to open up the lane. I have had some great scores with this one already. Ball #2 - Started with a 2" pin. Drilled this one 4x3 pin under ring finger small hole 1" past axis. This ball gets into a roll about 2' sooner than #1, but has about the same total hook. I use this when I want a more controlled reaction. -------------------- Tom Hess Track Regional Staff Vise-Grip Pro Staff

I used the angular with very good results at the ABC nationals in Baton Rouge. The cover of this ball is strong, but it is strong down the lane. To compare it to other Track balls, I see it as been 3-4 boards stronger overall than the Xception, and it is a few boards weaker than the Arsenal Aggressive and Rule. This ball compliments the Aggressive very well. The name does say it, it is Angular. It cuts through carrydown better than anything I have used to date. As I said in the heading, it reminds me of the FreakOut with more backend. Once again that probably comes from the Peak Particles. They really do make a difference---they allow a particle ball to backend, and the Angular has plenty of that. CG Pro Shop Youngstown Ohio Track Pro Shop Staff

I drilled 2 Angular Particles. The first one in a 6 x 41/2 with the pin high above my middle finger, no balance hole and the surface is 600 with a slight shine. This ball goes VERY straight. I can play up the oil line and still get great hit. I am very excited to see what this ball will do when the lanes turn into the Sahara Desert. The second one I drilled is a 4.25 x 3 with the pin under my ring finger and the balance hole 2 in down from my PAP ( box finish shiny). This ball is VERY much a skid/flip type of ball. I think I may have drilled it a little too strong with the down lane reaction this ball has. Once again I will be very eager to see how it performs on dry lanes. Like all track balls this thing it’s like a tank and it definitely performs as advertised. ANGULAR. Blaine Weninger TRACK PBA Regional Staff

This is a "Must-Get" ball, especially for those house league bowlers. My first league series with this ball was 298-277-221. The last game was due to me trying to play a deeper line plus I took it wide for a more agressive angle to the pocket. As soon as I moved right and kept the ball line tight, the ball was back in its zone. Pin-5 5/8 and 4 3/8 from PAP. Also, it is important to add this tid-bit of info. The harder I threw this ball, the harder it hooked and the stronger the reaction. Commonly, when you through the ball harder you will achieve more REVs on the ball, but this ball is "easy-to-read." This ball is also best if used straight from the box. No added surface needed.

This ball, don't know what to say...it takes my breath away. Arsenal Angular is a must have ball, it revs up through the entire lane with great angle to the pocket. Keeps the pins very low but also moves them around very well...don't be affraid to get this ball light in the pocket, it will get the pins moving around..Arsenal Angular is drilled, 5" by 5" pin 1" above midline...same drill that is on my Aggressive... And I find this ball great...For that stroker that is looking for a little more revs this is the ball for you, this ball revs up very quickly and doesnt lose its energy down the lane...this ball also gets down the lane with out any effort, clears the fronts with ease...A great compliment ball with the Xception....If you have the Xception and need a ball to step down to the Arsenal Angular is the ball for that spot... That is my review for the Arsenal Angular, check out my review on the Aggressive..... Jason Dee Track International Amateur Staff

LIKE This ball clears the heads as good as any ball that I have ever seen and is very angular on the backend. The energy that this ball delivers as it hits the pocket is unbelievable. Track has done what I thought was impossible, taken the freak-a-zoid tweak it and take it to the next level. This is a must buy ball. Great job Track on taking ball manufactoring to the next level. DISLIKE I try to get it out to early, but the angular aggressive takes care of the lanes before I need to pull this ball out.

WOW!! This is my new favorite ball, and the first one out of the bag in league. Very forgiving when there are fresh backends and with minor carrydown. Also matches up well for a variety of ball speeds and releases. I've used the Angular Arsenal on synthetic and wood surfaces with equal success and absolutely devastating pin carry. I decided on a 3X4 layout with no balance hole needed given a lower starting top weight. The strong layout does not take away from the ease with which the Angular gets down the lane. I believe the symmetrical core configuration is a perfect match for the Peak Particle coverstock. In short, I just cannot say how impressed I am with this ball and it's versatile performance on a variety of lane conditions.
