This ball is an Erase-it in a different color. It is a typical reactive. It slides in the oil and hooks hard once it hits the dry. The hit is well above average. On most fresh league shots, this is an ideal ball. I drilled mine stacked leverage with a small weight hole on PAP. It started with a 2 inch pin and 2.42 ounces of topweight. I loved my Erase-it and (SURPRISE) I love this ball too. The USA Gold is a really good reactive resin bowling ball. Don't hesitate to pick one up if you get the chance.

Very good ball. I would recomend it to all that can find one. USA gold is one of the best storm balls made. If you play in a house with a lot of oil put a gray on the ball. It will hook about your third game. I love My Ball and would never sell it. Being that it is a medium oil ball it is very easy to shoot in all houses. If your a person that likes an agressive ball that is not too hard to controll this is the ball for you. GO BUY THE USA GOLD, NOW!!!

Lane conditions are usually med./heavy oil. I had it drilled label leverage with a balance hole. When left in the box finish, this ball hooked almost as much as my Boost but made an slightly earlier move to the pocket. Not a snap but a hard arc. It hit the pocket very hard and sent pins all over the place. I played several different lines with this ball. It's not really made for a flood or heavy carrydown unless you can put a lot of hand into it. Also, a lack of oil on the heads might be a problem too. When the heads dry up, put it away or it will grab the lane way too early. I recently polished it up and to delay the hook for medium conditions with clean backends. The polish made the ball snap a little bit more on the clean backends but not uncontrollably. The specs on this ball are almost identical to the Eraser and Erase-It with differences in the coverstock. So you know what kind of potential this ball has. Overall, it is a very good ball as long as it is used on the proper condit
