So reliable, so accurate, sooooo smooth! Goes nice and long, snaps nice and hard. This is one of the most reliable balls that I have ever thrown...like clockwork it goes long down the lane and snaps at about 45 feet right to the pocket. This ball actually performs better to a tight shot than it does to a swing shot. Once again the best balls seem to be the balls that DON'T cost $250.00. This is one of the greatest balls ever porduced by Storm, or any other company. The only draw-back is that it has a tendency not to carry light in the pocket.

I got the ball used and i am glad i did get it. It is one of the strongest balls i have and it even hooks hard on my sport shot league. When i got the ball i didnt think it was going to hook that hard but once i did throw it the ball just grabed the lane and glided back to the pocket. I didnt belive what i saw. I wish i could fine another one of these balls so i could drill it alittle stronger and see what it would do. The only thing about this ball i dont like is that it does need alittle oil to be thrown.

This is another condition specific ball for me, which works well on it's intended condition. I use this one on a short oiled, synthetic, and horizontally wet/dry with screaming backends. The Ultra Hot is drilled pin under middle finger with CG under ring finger. I can play the track area because there's enough oil up front to get the ball down the lane....which rolls too strong for use anywhere else (so far). The flying backends help this ball make it to the pocket and hurt the pins. Hit and carry is above average, but sometimes resulting in flat hits....that cause nightmares. Another good short/lighter oil ball that comes in handy for league play. This ball is just as good as the Too Hot is, but I use it for a different shot. Great job Storm.

this ball is strickly a begginers ball.it was very consistant and hit OK for a low end ball it really is priced properly.for what it does.it does arc more than it snaps.and it leaves a lot of ten pins.i went through three of these balls and never found one that worked properly because it actually was sweating.all three of them.and my driller at the time even noticed it when he drilled it and still gave it to me.So if your a begginer and you want to take a risk this is the ball for you.

this ball is wonderful...bought it off someone and had it redrilled to my hand specs....works wonders once you learn how to throw the damn thing...doesn't have that much hook so you have to bowl right over the center arrow and slide it a lil bit to the right of the pocket and at the end it'll hook right back into the pocket and murder the pins...leaves 7's every now and then but that's the bowlers fault...learn how to bowl with this and it'll be all u need in your arsenal...

it's a good ball, but i'd prefer to use it for dry lanes...or light oiled lanes...it's good to pick up the 10 pin on heavy oiled lanes though...it's very hard for a bowler like me that swings my ball out all the way to the gutter and prays that it hooks back in...this ball doesn't have enough snap to bring it back in...more of a bowl straight and let it create friction on the edge of the lanes to break and go back into the pocket. it's been drill for 1 other person, so i need to figure out a better drilling pattern...any suggestions? ish_dis_one_dude@hotmail.com

The ultra hot worked for me amazingly well...i had a 130 avg with my old ebonite, got the ultra hot and my avg shot up 50 points..it's awesome on medium oiled lanes...or heavier oiled lanes once the oil pattern breaks down...but on heavy lanes it really sucks cuz it doesn't have enough reaction in it...over all good ball though for most lane conditions...i bowled with it on both synthetic and wood lanes, and i got good results...it jus takes time to figure out the best way to bowl with it....happy bowling

Reacts well when I throw a good shot.( I am a young bowler, and I am learning to throw a hook with this ball) Carry is excellent. No problems that are caused by the ball, only by me! I have been bowling with Box surface, and I have had it polished recently. I Will try the new surface tomorrow and I am encouraged by the comments on this ball when polished. I have a quick note on the weight I have stated above, It may be 13 or 14 lbs, I know its bad, I should know my own balls weight. DUH! As for how my ball is drilled, I am not sure about specifics, but I the CG is almost exactly on top of the pin, and they are located almost equidistant from the ring finger hole and the thumb hole. Anyway GREAT BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had this one drilled with the pin under the fingers so that I could have something that I could get in deep on the lane and twist it up. It worked, I could not believe a econo priced ball like this would react the way it did today. Averaged about 217-220 on some torched up lanes with just a little bit of oil deep inside. That was 14 games i shot by the way. I was looking for something a littl stronger than my Blue Hot Flame but not as strong as my Erase-IT. I have a Trauma Response for the heavy stuff. Found the ball to round out my arsenal. On the PBA sport condition ive been having trouble when the lanes break down because my Erase-IT was too strong and Blue Hot wouldnt make it from deep inside. I thing im going to be getting some checks in the mail now that I got this. this ball will play how you drill it. It does recover well but you have to make good shots as with any other ball. If you need to get a ball that is Light-Med to Light oil this ones a winner. I highly recommend thi

I wanted a ball for the dryer conditions faced in my 9pm travel league. I had the ball drilled to go long with the pin directly below my middle finger and the Cg 4" below and 3/4" in. The ball outhooks my TI Messenger. My normal TI shot on med. oil, 22 to 10, swing between 5-3, crush. In practice this ball wouldn't hold the same line. Screwing around I went 25 to 15, swing between 10 -8. 224 -249 - 214 - 231. First night used in league playing 27 - 15, medium to light oil, 234 - 279 - 244. Hits like a truck. Love this ball.

excellent ball over all with good control and hitting power, but when the lanes are flooded i have to use one of my Trauma . I works better on the medium to light oil lanes. The ball is more consistent and easy to control when polished because the polish gives the ball time to get down the lane and help control its very hard arc at the pins. If the ball is dull it will tend to lose its hitting power in which it hit the pins like a feather . Overall a excellent ball that will arc and hit consistently but if you are to wide on your shot it will skid and roll out of the shot.

I aim for second arrow right of center and the ball skids down then turns right into the pocket. I learned how to throw a hook using this ball. its great for when you cant shoot deep inside and have to move to the outside. the ball works well polished , out of the box ,or if you want it to hook more just sand it down. This ball keeps the pins low so if your shot is off a little you could still knock them down. I would recomend this ball to anyone just learning as it is fairly inexpensive reactive coverstock ball.

This is a great ball for a bowler that is just getting a reactive ball. It is also a good ball for the regular league bowler. And also for even the tournament bowler. I believe that this a ball that everyone should own. It has a nice arcing reaction to the pocket and has good carry. I am also going to try this ball polished to see the reaction of this ball then. Storm has done a great job with this ball and its sister ball the TOO HOT both of these balls are a great reason why everyone should buy storm. I like this ball for almost any condition except for heavy oil.

Unreal how this ball is mid-range priced. I originally got this ball a pound lighter (14 Lb) to attempt cancelling out leaving 9 pins. Now, its one of my favorites. I can play any angle with this ball, and the ball still comes to the pocket with avengence. I dont know if its me or not, but the pins seem to fly alot lower. Last week, I started throwing a tour power in league, and fought it for 145, I then brought out the Ultra Hot, and with no practice balls, shot 256 and 257. Was the most bizarre 658 I ever shot. Very nice job STORM.<sc

As stated in my tour power post, i got this ball at the same time as it (thanx again guys at buddies!) Drilled this one up w/the pin directly above the ring finger, with the cg to the left of center (negative) of the span. Keeped it box finished and the ball goes down the lane smoothly, turns, and arcs right to the pocket. Carry is great, pins stay low and lot of messengers come after those 10pins. Haven't thrown it polished yet, love it to much to mess with it. Great 1-2 punch w/the tour power, if the tp gets too snappy, or not quite making it up, i move left or right and let this baby do its arc. One of the very few balls i like that arcs and doesn't snap. The pleasure has been yours. The great one
