Overal this ball is the most forgiving ball i have ever thrown. it also stays consistant all night. when the lanes dry up i think i bowl better with it!!!! the back end hook on this ball is amazing!!! if u hit the pocket light u get so much pin action its not funny. the pin action saved me numerous times. i love it. i use this ball for strikes as well as spares. i think it is a great ball for both. i can also pick the 10 pin easily. i would recomend this ball for anymone. plus it smells great!!

This ball is a must-have for tournament and league play. Nothing compares to its power (or its scent). This ball is what gives Storm its prestige because no other company can match this ball. I've been through 4 balls and this has been my favorite over all the rest. You can never run out of lines to play with the ball; if you use up one line, jsut slow it down and move far left or put more speed on and move right. Hopefully Storm can keep up the good work and produce many more balls as good as this one. Awesome ball.

Here's a ball which i had obtained for my spinner style . The colour combonation when it spins catches all eyes from the alley! The scent also a part of the ball i like! The ER causes an impact second to none! My fav ball so far for spinning. But due to discontinuation, i use it only when theres big events! My second line of arsenal to my Ninja Master! Remember pls,I am reviewing this ball as a spinner. Yet to lay my hands on a 14-15lbs ER to hook it yet! Cheers to ppl who's using it!

This ball hits the pins with a ton of force. Hardest hitting ball I have ever used. The pins stay low and just clears the deck. This is a great bowl from storm. I went down to a 15lb ball when I bought this one and I am glad I did.It drives the pocket and never leave 10 pins. This ball is forgiving on light shots. It still can clear the deck, but if you go high you will start leaving 4 pins but don't most balls.Get this ball and it will increase your average. Overall rating for driving the pocket and for flare it is a 10.

Good ball for a bowler who is not trying to throw a monster hook for show, you have to be able to control this ball, and I found that it has to be drilled exactly how you throw so pay attention to rather your a high or low rev bowler. It does make a difference with this ball. Also if you throw a smidge harder than average you need at least a 15 and probably a 16 lb ball, or this ball is not going to get enough behind it to knock all the pins down consistently. I have 14 lb because I need a lot of backend which this ball provides, but the pin reaction is lacking if you dont hit the pocket perfect!

It's been a while since i've been here, but STORM is still the best!!! Since this is my dad's ball, i couldn't really get my hand into it comfotably when i wrote the other review for this ball so it is a bit unaccurate. But since I can now fit it well, my information is 100% accurate for this ball. I've joined a new league held on wooden lanes so I use this ball more often. I can get more lift on this ball and get more speed on it also. At Moore Lanes, it is usually heavy oil, but this ball plows through the oil to deliver some chaos to the pins. I have become a lot more accurate on the wood than I have been before. I haven't had one single shot so far that has crossed over into the 1-2 pocket and therefore, I have much better results from my shots. I get at leat one 200 or better every time I use this ball in my league and my average has gone up since I started using this ball. Best of all, I haven't left any splits from this ball when it hits the 1-3 pocket. The only bad th

its sweet! i tottaly think this is the best ball i have ever thrown in my life . it hooks great, hit hard, rolls super ,and never fails. this is absolutly my favorit ball. its my "300 ball". the smell wakes my up on down days to. the core in this ball must be good because the roll i increadable. it dosent slow up. in fact i think it speeds up in the backends as it starts to grip the dry part of the lane. use this ball on the longest paterns and it will still hook big.if u want hook this is the ball for u. its not a good ball for weak players because it takes some musle on those dry lanes to keep it on your lane.

I'm a new bowler, and this ball has made the game much more enjoyable for me. It was an affordable price, it smells like cherry . And when it goes down the lane it can be thrown wide on a bad release and still come back to the pocket. I've had several high games (279, 278, 290 ect) but haven't been able to close that 300 yet, but it is coming very soon. And this ball will be there when it happens. So far this ball has treated me real well.. I've bowled around 80 games with it, on very bad, outdated lanes, with minimal wear evident. My old ball was a "flintstone ball" by this time. So this ball is very tough and resistant to nicks and scars.

Wow. I use mine on an oil pattern between medium and heavy oil most often, with dry backends. It performs VERY WELL in carrydown. It's not a skid and snap ball, but it does have a wicked turn. It starts to set up like it's going to snap, then it just drives like it's on a mission to take out the 7 pin itself (I'm a righty). Even in heavier oil, the turn at the backend might be lessened, but it's STILL THERE. The reaction is still the same in heavy oil as it is in less, you just slow your ball speed down a little, and you're going good again. I put some polish on it, and that still doesn't hurt the reaction in the oil, it just gives it a little more length. The reaction tends to get a little soft if you don't keep the surface clean, but either way I think it's one of the best balls Storm has made, and the only complaint I've ever heard about it is that it hooks too much, but only in conditions it wasn't made for.

The ball is drilled with Storm's pattern #1 with a strong position. Advantage: If you are bowling in oil, this ball will work great for you. It comes from the outside like a freight train. Too strong sometimes leaving the 9 pin on a solid pocket shot. It is also great for playing over the 4th arrow. It will go to board 15 and then still come back. Downside: If the lanes or even the heads dry up, you will either need to increase ball speed or put it away. This ball will hook to the brooklyn or just start to break to soon not allowing the ball to get far enough to the outside to even have a chance at the head pin. But Storm rates this ball as a heavy oil ball, So shooting is the dry is at your own risk.

This was the first Storm Ball I bought after a 10 year bowling hiatus. I am a big Fan of the Storm Teal fromm 1992 and I was anticipating great things from this "New" Storm. (For me) I quickly found out that the only time I can really use this ball is when there is plenty of oil. It burns too much energy in the Dry Boards for me and I'd rather switch to my Old School Storm Teal rather than try to "muscle" or spin this ball through the heads when they get dry. It's a good ball but I expected a little bit more for the Price I paid for it.<scr

For me the best ball ever. Probably the most reliable ball I have ever used. I can send it anywhere right of the 1-3 pocket and it will still hit inside the pocket hard. I can use it for a league or tournament and it is as reliable as ever. No matter how huch oil is on the surface it is extremely consistant shot after shot. It doesn't have a very good 1-2 pocket hit if it crosses over for some odd reason. I'll leave splits 90% of the time, but other than that it is the best ball I've ever used.

Great ball for any league and even better in tournaments. I recommend this ball for all types of bowlers. The only draw back is that on some house shots the ball will only be good for one game. If your league is very oil friendly then this is the ball for you. When the backends are a little dry this ball will murder the pins, but when the heads start to dry out put this ball back in your bag. Another draw back is, the secent of the ball. Storm has a thing were they are putting secents on their balls. This ball well stink up your bag big time, BUT IT'S WORTH IT. This is the HARDEST HITTING ball i own.

I was looking for a ball that was good in oil. My average dropped because my erase-it just wouldn't in the oil. This ball was everything I was looking for. It goes pretty far down the lane and once it turns there is no stopping it. I haven't had any problems leaving a 10 pin. Occasionally it will leave a 9, but that isn't the balls fault. Once it gets a track on it this ball is unstoppable. This ball is a great addition to any arsenal. Just make sure you have plenty of polish for the dry nights.

This is my first ball since I bought a blue Pulse 6 years ago...finally cracked the bridge and decided to get something new. I like my choice. This ball has good length when polished and great backend reaction. IF you are anywhere near the pocket it hits like a ton of bricks. I wouldn't try using it on light oil or dry lanes unless you have major speed to get the length needed. Should be no need to ever sand this ball but the option is there if needed...very versatile. Price tag is up there, but so is the balls performance.

It's a good ball but there are definatly better balls out there on the market such as an Intesity, Adrenaline, Ricochet, Rev, any urethane and plastic balls, etc. Storm has made quality balls and this ball is out of a series but I do believe that the recovery is the best ball out of the Trauma series and the Trauma Response wasn't even too popular itself being the last ball in the series. But overall this ball I really would not really recommend it to anyone if they asked me about it or if they asked me if they should get it.

Good ball over all with tremendous hitting power, but where I bowl the lanes are flooded with oil so I can get the most out of my ER. Works better when polished than dull. I don't really know what it would be like on really dry lanes because im bowling on flooded lanes all the time! Really, overall a good ball that will hook if you want it to but if you bowl it ot slow it will take off like a rocket, I bowled my equal highest game with it, the other ball was a storm el nino x-it.

The ball is a #1 drilling with a pin 2" off the cg. The cg is is a little to the right of my palm. Axis hole six inches from the cg. I usually throw this ball over ten at the arrows and out to five. Mine is on the duller side of things giving me an earlier move. The ball turns the corner and hits like a truck. Consistent roll that has a good read on the lane. By far the best ball I have and when this one is dead, I will just go and buy another. I would highly recommend it any other bowler.

I am a horribly inconsistent bowler. Rolled a 256 and a 119 in the same series once. Carry an average in the mid- to upper-150's. Worked with Dirk at Bradley Bowl in CT and he recommended the Trauma ER to me. Also suggested trying a 15 lb. ball instead of my usual 16 to help me get a more consistent release. Drilled up the Trauma ER and sent me on the lanes. I was having trouble getting used to the ball, but I also rarely bowl on synthetics like at Bradley. Brought the ball to my usual house for league night, and threw a 599 series with it (high game of 230). Just missed my first 600 series, but I was still ecstatic. Here I was, a 155 bowler averaging almost 200 for the series. The next week at my league, I got my 600 series with a 615 (high game of 222). And the biggest thing of all is that I am more consistent - no more wild 60 pin swings from one game to the next. The Trauma ER is great for me because while I still have a tendency to be a little inconsistent with my release, t

Overall, I would have to say that this is one of the greatest if not the greatest ball that I have ever thrown. There is a lot of balls that once you get them they seem to work great but after about 50 games they die out. This ball seems to stay the same way it was when i took it outta the box. For me personally, if i throw a tight line, it usually will sit and drill the pocket or I can throw it out to the 5 or 6 board and it will fly back and hit the rack like a freight train. i give a high recommendation for this ball if you are looking for a ball that consistently does the same thing each time you throw it and never dies out.

The ball is what I wanted and all I expected. One house I bowl at has a ton of oil used right before I bowl. They have no rear ends and the leaves are weird as a result. I got this ball and the first game out of the box on leauge night was 288. I ended with a 706 for the night. Needless to say this ball was worth the money for that condition. I bowl in two other leauges and they have less oil and I am able to use the ball but dry rear ends force me to put it away because I can't maintain speed and I'm standing about as far left as I can. This ball WILL HOOK and unless you have oil medium to heavy, you may want to cosider a ball that is less agressive. hope this helps

Okay, Been wanting to try this one for a while. I like a ball to be out a little while before I buy so I can see what its like. Im not one to grab one as soon as it hits shelves so here we go. On the PBA tour they put out a sport shot which does not allow you to make many mistakes, This can be a forgiving ball for that or any tough house shot where the oil carries or there is a lot up front. This ER has less than 3 ounces of top weight and a 2-3 1/2 inch pin. I throw the ball with little tilt and more of an end over ender, Just watch Walter Ray Williams Jr. and my roll is almost identical to his. Just not as accurate all the time like him. This ball came 1000 grit matte out of box and my pro shop guy took it to 600 for gripping purposes. Its drilled axis leverage, Took it to a really tough house where carry is tough and had no problem, Had to move left with feet after first game tho because of surface of ball but this baby came back from right field with a vengeance, No burnout here,
