Anyone who has alot of hand needs this ball. I cannot believe that Storm discontinued it. I have 3 drilled. One at 400 sand, one at polished then taken down with a green pad, and one that is poplished like a marble. I pretty much use these 3 for everything. If you have strong backends in the house you will have to calm your release because this ball will snap hard!! If the lanes are really dry in the heads put this ball in the bag. It does need some head oil. If the lanes are oily, stand to the right and let it rip and be amazed at the predictability and hit that this urethane ball can display!! I basically throw only urethane due to my rev rate and these balls are absolutely fantastic for a cranker. If you can find one....BUY IT!!!!!!!

Really easy to handle. Im glad I bought this ball. At first i didnt know how to react to a new ball but then i figured out how to handle and throw it. I threw it for the first time at Narrows bowling plazza in Tacoma Washington. I had never bowled here before so I pulled out my other ball since I had just gotten my thunder flash drilled the night before so I wasnt used to it. When i went up to the line the first time I droped the ball on the approach! I stared my approach again and threw a strike! I was pretty happy. I bowled with it the rest of the day and averaged 159 for 6 games. Going into the tournament I had a 133 average . Overall Im really happy with my thunder flash.

I bought this ball to combat a severe over/under condition on second shift and to throw on the dry inside line on a difficult reverse block. Adding another weak resin ball to my bag didn't make sense, so I decided to try a urethane ball and chose the Thunderflash because of its strong core. Get rid of any idea you may have that the Thunderflash is a weak ball because of its urethane coverstock. You would almost certainly not want it in an aggressive drilling. Mine is 16#, 3.3oz top weight, 3" pinout. I laid this ball out 5 x 5, with the pin above the bridge and the CG out fractionally about 3/8". I shined it to 1200; I think almost everyone will want to shine it up from the factory 600 grit. Even at this grit, it still wanted to roll too early, so I added a big weight hole on the PAP. That toned it down just right for my purposes. Thunderflash gives you a very different look than pearl resin, which is a good argument for owning one. Understand that there is probably no drillin
