Drilling 5*3*1

Rev Rate – 430

Speed 18 MPH

PAP – 4 5/8 * 1 1/8 up

I was excited to see the Trend 2, with its great, eye popping colors, to the redesign of the weight block, I immediately thought this could be a home run. Once I put holes in it, I couldn't have been happier.

I compared the Trend 2 to the Trend and the initial results were wow, the Trend 2 is so much stronger in the mid lane while still matching the back end motion from the original Trend. I used this on the 45' dick weber pattern and the ball, while not necessarily being the first ball out of the bag, still handled the shape and volume well. Second pattern was on a house shot. This is where I made my video (search Sean Daniels on you tube) and was able to play almost anywhere I wanted. Straight, track, 4th arrow, lofting, I had a hard time getting this ball not to read and roll the right way.

Storm and Jason have collaborated to make what I feel is a must have piece for all bowlers.

Sean Daniels

Aloha, Or

Trend 2 Ball Specs Cover Stock: NRG Hybrid Reactive Finish: 1500 Grit Polish Color: Indigo/Space Black/Rose Core: Piston LD Core Layout: 65 x 5 x 35 RG: 2.54 Differential: 0.041 Review The Trend 2 is the latest Jason Belmonte signature ball. The Trend 2 has a stronger cover and redesigned weight block than the successful original Trend pearl ball. The piston core has been modified to raise the RG and lower the Differential to create more powerful reaction giving the bowler more continuation through the pins. The NRG hybrid reactive coverstock still allows the ball to be clean through the front of the lanes with a strong move coming off the oil pattern. I tested the ball on a 42 feet THS. As a medium to low rev player, I see this ball being great on medium patterns. I was able to play in the track area and deep inside without any loss of ball reaction or pin carry. The Trend 2 is a must have for league and tournament bowlers. Anticipated release date is October 29, 2021. My ball reviews are posted on YouTube channel Stanley Waite. The latest and greatest collaboration between Belmo and Storm. Introducing the brand-new Trend 2. With a modified Piston Core, wrapped with the NRG Hybrid reactive cover, this Trend 2 is arguably the best one oiut of the Belmo/Storm collaboration series. We saw out of the original Trend a pearl option that you can play straighter with when it came to the fronts hooking early and a development of friction to the right, the Trend was the perfect option for those situations. When players need a stronger option to go left (if you're right handed) the Trend 2 is the perfect option. What I see out of the Trend 2 is being clean but controllable down lane and not a hockey stick type of motion. This ball will be really good for flatter patterns when players need a cleaner option, but also something that'll be more controllable in the back end. Be ready to pick your's up at your Local VIP Pro Shop's when this hits the market!

Drilling is 55 x 4 3/8 x 45 The Trend 2 is a new unique ball from the Storm Signature line. I have found the Trend 2 to be different from the original Trend due to its strong continuation and overall usability. I have tried the ball on both a longer typical house shot and a shorter sport pattern to judge the ball reaction. On the typical house shot, I found that this ball still reads in the oil extremely well due to the Hybrid NRG coverstock and since the differential is lower at 0.041 (15lbs) it tends to blend the drier parts of the lane better than the original Trend did for me. I was able to use the Trend 2 both on the fresh and as transition occurred as I moved further left on the lane. If you tend to be on lane surfaces that hook a lot or on lower volumes of oil, this could be a really nice 1st ball out of the bag for you. Vise versa and this could be a great game 2 or game 3 ball for you depending on your style. On the sport pattern, the ball acted very similarly even though I was on a few more ML of overall oil. Since the pattern was shorter, it was a tough ball to use on the fresh since the ball is shiny. As transition occurred and I had to open my angles up more, this ball really came alive. It gave me plenty of continuation without being too angular in the backend and went through the pins extremely well from a few different angles. This is the type of ball that will be a staple in my bag for many different tournaments and league sessions due its overall great versatility. Adam Chase Storm Staff

Storm Trend 2 is the sequel you'll want to experience! Bowlers Info: RH tweener, PAP 4-1/2 x 7/8 up, 365 RPM, 17* of Axis tilt, 60* of Axis Rotation Ball Layout: 50 x 4.25 x 35 Finish: OOB Storm continues its collaboration with Jason Belmonte with the newest piece, the Trend 2. This hybrid incorporates NRG with the revamped core that produces a high RG 2.54 that really creates a motion that is very clean thru the front. I drilled mine with 4-1/4" pin, pin high over ring finger that produced a clean motion thru the front with a moderately strong motion on the backend. What I noticed from this piece is that the continuation is actually an upgrade from the original Trend. I had recently punched up the new Roto Grip Hyped Hybrid and in comparison, the Trend 2 is cleaner with less backend than the Hyped Hybrid which is a great complement where I can stay in the Trend 2 longer if the fronts are too aggressive for the Hyped to clear. Great color combination makes it easy to read the ball, another great transition piece to consider adding to your arsenal. Scheduled to be released oct 29th!
