Storm Phaze III Bowling Ball

A never-before-seen cover and core combination of R3S Hybrid and the Velocity Core shines above all else. It reveres its past but is imminently future-forward. When the corners get tough, R3S gets tougher. The Velocity Core has become a staple in the Storm lineup. This low RG, high differential construction has turned into the go-to chassis for professionals around the world. Its benchmark characteristics serve a multitude of styles across a variety of patterns. NOTHING LIKE IT AT ALL This fast-revving shape, the aptly named, supercharged Velocity core smooths out the backend reaction without over-reacting and avoids creating an undesirable last-second movement. The nature of the core gives it plenty of motion due to the higher differential, but with the forgiveness all players love to see.

PHAZE FREAKING THREE. I could literally stop there. The Phaze II (P2) is arguably the best tournament ball on the market today. If you're a tournament player and throw Storm equipment, it is highly likely you have a Phase II in the bag. The Phaze III (P3) looks great with the Green/Purple/Black color combo and it smells like grape. I have a fair amount of axis tilt/rotation, so I am always more cautious when drilling them. I used a stronger layout on my P3 (45 x 4.5 x 60) just to ensure it wouldn't hockey stick downlane. Boy was I impressed. For me this is exactly as described: A cleaner P2 with more pop downlane. I could stand in the same spot and throw both balls and they both strike. There is a clear difference though. The P2 reads the midlane harder and in my experience went light mixer strike. Standing in the same place with the P3, it cleared the lane probably 2 more feet and was more responsive off the friction to go dead flush. So what does this actually mean? This means that the P2 is a great piece for the beginning of league night or the beginning of a tournament block. The P3 will come into play when the P2 becomes lazy on the backend and starts to leave the weak corners. Going from the P2 to the P3 won't be a guessing game though, you can stand in the same spot with the P3 as you did the P2. Lastly, this ball does a good job of bridging the gap between our pearl balls. There is now a nice car progression from AstroPhysix-Phaze III-Emerald. Our line has never looked better!!

Storms new hybrid addition to the new line is the brand new Phaze 3! This ball features the R3S Hybrid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Velocity Core seen previously in the very popular Phaze 2. My Phaze 3 is laid out 4 1/2 - 5 inches away from my pap with the pin over my bridge which is the same layout as my Phaze 2. This Phaze 3 is a AWESOME compliment to the Phaze 2 with it being cleaner and more responsive to friction. This ball will be a huge seller and a very good bowling ball for not only house shots but even sport shots as well! Go to your local pro shop and get yours today you will not be disappointed!

This has quickly become my favorite Storm release of 2019. I simply have not been able to put it down since I put holes in it. I recently rolled my first 300 with this ball and followed it up with a 269. It is filling a huge hole in my bag that I have had for quite some time now. Allowing me to move left without missing the spot and coming up light into the pocket. Once the cover sees friction it reads it and GOES! I have about 30 games on this ball already and can count on one hand how many ten pins I have left. Extremely clean through the front part of the lane and completely stores all of its energy for the back end. Very angular and responsive to friction.

Ball Review: This has to be the cleanest cover to date with the newest release of the RS3 Hybrid cover. The RS3 cover combining with the low rg high differential of the Velocity core will be an excellent transition ball when the lanes begin to hook early and cleanliness through the front and angle down lane is required. I haven't seen anything this clean since the Hy Road Pearl. The Phaze 3 will have no problem getting down lane and creating pop off the backend.

Ball Specs: Storm Phaze III 1500 R3S™ Hybrid Reactive Weight Block Velocity™ Core (Symmetrical) Color Obsidian/Jade/Orchid Review: We have had a lot of excitement building for this ball to release in our shop. We got the opportunity to throw this ball a couple of weeks ago and immediately it lived up to expectation. This ball is noticeably longer down lane than the phaze II with the same amount of energy into the pocket. For hybrid lovers this ball is excellent to start a set before transitioning to a weaker hybrid ball such as the Hustle. For solid lovers this ball would be an excellent transition ball from an asymmetric deep into a set if you do not want to move very far to the left. Look for this ball to make a lot of TV shows on the circuit (just like the phase II). It is really that good! The phaze lll features the same velocity core found in the first two generations but is now wrapped in R3S hybrid. Much like Luke said, R3S hybrid and R3S pearl feel like they were switched. R3S pearl on the snaplock and OG intense made both balls very early, round and continuous whereas R3S hybrid on the intense fire and now the phaze lll is very clean and quick to respond to friction downlane. The phaze lll is so clean and quick that I actually had to touch the surface lightly with a 500 pad to make it slow down enough to successfully throw on our house shot. I can see myself using the phaze lll after my pro motion or phaze ll, when I need to open up my angles more. Compared to the phaze ll, the phaze lll is a few feet cleaner and a couple boards more overall. Be sure to stop into your local storm VIP pro shop and pre order your very own phaze lll today! I am very excited for something like this to come out of the Phaze line. Introducing the all new Phaze III from Storm Bowling! The Phaze III is an R3S Hybrid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the original core found in the Phaze II. This ball fills the gab between the Phaze II and the Hyroad for me. When the Phaze II starts to get a little lazy downlane and leaves those corner pins; the Phaze III is going to get through the front part of the lane and continue more downlane when the lanes start to breakdown and force you to get farther inside and create more angle. This ball has to be one of the best benchmark pearls to ever come out on the market. The Phaze line is only getting better and I can't wait to see what else they do with this successful line. Get yours AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! You won't be disappointed. Nate Garcia PBA Regional Champion

I drilled my Phaze 3 45* x 4.5 x 60* because I wanted to smooth out the shape just a bit. The Phaze 3 was designed to be similar in strength to the Phaze 2 but with more length and more shape down lane. I think Storm nailed this ball! The Phaze 2 reads the mids harder while the Phaze 3 cleared the lane noticeably easier and was more responsive to friction. I see the Phaze 3 being the perfect piece for me when I need to get out of a solid cover but the pattern isn't broken down enough to go to a weaker R2S pearl cover.

First off, the Phaze II is one of my favorite balls I have ever rolled. So, I was hard pressed to think that the Phaze III could compare. Boy, was I wrong. The Phase III has the same Velocity core as the Phase II has, but the Phase III has the R3S Hybird coverstock on it. Meaning, it will store more energy for the backend than what the Phase II will. I believe this is going to be a deadly combination in leagues, and or tournaments. When the Phase II gets to be too much, or burning up, then thats when the Phase III will come into play. You will be able to move left and throw more left to right while storing engery. I have the "tester" drilling on mine which is pin above the bridge. This ball hooks quite a bit downlane for me. I think everyone should try this ball, and I fully believe you will enjoy the new Phase III.

Phaze III - RG 2.48 - DIFF 0.051 - The Phaze III is the third release in the famous Phaze line. The ever popular Velocity core is now wrapped around the R3S Hybrid cover to bring you one of the best looking balls you'll see on the self. This ball deserves all the hype. The Phaze III gives me the cleanest look of the previous two Phaze's but the angle I get down lane is unmatched. The Phaze III perfectly compliments my Phaze II and Pro Motion when I need it to be cleaner through the front part of the lane but more angle and continuation down lane. This ball will be on a lot of racks come December 13th.

Phaze 3 60x5 3/4x60 This layout puts the pin in my middle finger, which lowers the diff. I wanted to make this ball a little more controlable This ball is hook in a box. clean upfront and saves all of the energy it has for downlane. Ive been waiting for this exact ball i always feel i need a cleaner phaze 2 and here it is exactly what we have been waiting for. Lower revrate players and higher rev rate players can get very good use out of this ball for different reasons. high rev guys can be far left and not lose angle. and low rev guys can get the extra angle they need. Thank you for reading!

I have the Phaze 2 which is mainly a ball I take tournaments so I knew I was gonna purchase the Phaze 3. I absolutely love the reaction I get out of the Phaze 3. The day I got it drilled I used it in league that night and shot 719 for 3 and 997 for 4. The best 4 game set I've had so far this season. This ball is long down lane for me and snaps on the back end. It is not jerky at all. I was able to get the ball way right a few times and it came back and carried. I started further right than what I have been. The main ball I've been using for league is the Pro-Motion. This ball is about 2-3 boards weaker than that. As the night went on I was able to move my feet left as they transitioned and still carry the 10 pin. I have a hard time with how speed dominant I am and my rev rate on carrying the 10 when moving left that I have to ball up in order to do that. This was not the case with the Phaze 3. I was able to keep moving left and still kick out that 10. I will say I didn't have to move too many boards to the left with this ball which was nice. I would say this is the type of ball I was looking for in my arsenal that is polished and I do not have much polished equipment in my arsenal. Overall, this ball is pretty amazing and I am excited to use it more whether that be tournaments, league, or even on sports patterns. I am looking forward to see what I get from it in tournaments since the transition is different and also on sport patterns. My sons league is bowling on the beaten path right now and I might have to try this ball out on that pattern to see what it gives me.
