I agree with the other (jake4182) reviewer who said that a big part of being successful with this ball is getting it to leave the oil at the right spot. On a typical house shot I was able to throw over the second arrow, swing it out to board 2 or 3 and have it flip on the backend when it hit the dry. On the same condition, I was also able to play more in the oil by going over the third arrow and swinging it out to around the 5 board and still hit the pocket. When the lanes have been slightly drier, I have been able to cup my wrist more and use less side rotation and play straight down the first arrow. With such an angular motion I am able to carry alot of light hits. However I have also left alot of washouts and sometimes a Greek Church when it doesn't make it back far enough

EASY TO SWING, A LOT OF SKID FLIP BUT VERY PREDICTABLE BALL. AS LONG AS YOU KEEP THE BALL IN OIL IT WILL SKID BUT TURNS HARD ON DRY BOARDS. THE KEY TO THIS BALL IS KNOWING WHERE TO LET THE BALL POP OUT OF THE OIL AND INTO THE DRY BOARDS. I USE IT WHEN THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OIL AND DRY OR THE HEADS FRY OUT. BUT BE CAREFUL OF CARRY DOWN, IT WILL DELAY THE FLIP. THE BALL HAS A SHARP HOOK, HIGH ANGLE OF ENTRY AND HITS VERY HARD. SHOT A 270 AND A 280 IN THE FIRST SIX GAMES.

Ball is drilled with static balence mark at center of grip and pin away at 12 o'clock above the bridge. I try to hit this ball from behind with less side turn. It goes beyond 40 feet and makes a strong, but predictable and controlable (so far) move to the pocket from about the 8th to 10th board. I have to keep my speed up and make certain not to get around the side, or it's gone. But I do only use it on shots that are burnt. It doesn't throw the pins around like other balls I've had, but I haven't had any real problems with carry to this point.

I drilled this ball with the pin 5 3/4 from pap and the cg in the palm about 4 from pap. The ball clears the heads with ease no matter how fried they are. Doesn't use up it's energy and makes a predictable move to the pocket and hits much harder then expected with the weak drilling. Overall a ball that will help me in the later blocks of a tournament. I have drilled two others with stronger drillings for other people and they really like that way the ball sets up to the pocket without overreacting. My pro shop drilled one of these up the other day. Since it was the first one they had seen several people gave it a try. On typical mid afternoon synthetic lane conditions the ball tracked nicely then broke pretty hard for the pocket. Nice good hits. We all liked it. It was drilled for a lefty but I got it to hook just fine and I'm right handed. They said this ball is supposed to replace the Hot Rod . It looks like a great ball for the $. Everybody loved it. You can find this one online for under $100; my pro shop is selling them for $149 drilled with finger inserts. That's a pretty good price for a high performance ball.
