You can find out if there are sports leagues near you by contacting the USBC at (414) 421-6400. Cashing in a PBA Regional tournament as a non-member. Well were do i start on this ball??? first i got a hell of a deal on it. I got the hybrid and a big hit by storm with a 2 ball carrier for only twenty bucks. YOU CANT BEAT THAT!!! i threw this ball for the first time in a nine pin tounament and it was hooking out of the house. so i went to my weekly nine pin on a sport shot. With the hook on the ball i was playing my normal shot and it was walking right in from up the second arrow and i was looking around and nobody elses ball was hooking an inch, this is the ball for me on a sport or in heavier oil. it reacted greater than i could have ever expected, good product by storm!

Good ball to have in the bag, especially after the oil disapates around the third game you bowl. This ball has some pop on the back-end. Wouldn't recommend using as a bench mark ball unless your alleys are usual dry. You can find this ball usual under 100 dollars in any proshop, or find a used one on ebay like I did for $20. Good cinnamon-apple scent also. qwew qw w qw qw qw wqwrwrqr q qr we d w efe ee wf wewwe we w we w weeefg rarg r regerer r er er e e e

A Nice Roller I purchased this ball to use for a specific over/under league condition that I am bowling in. The condition is a high scoring condition that hooks extremely from the outsides and has a fairly definite oil inside. My feeling was that I didn't want to go pure pearl (too much stored energy) or too solid (too early of arc/not enough stored energy), so I compromised with the HR Hybrid. It was a good choice for the condition. Ball Pin Layout (please see profile for more technical info) 3 inch pin out Pin 2.5 X 3.75 (2:00 clock) = 2.5 inches PAP to Pin and 3.75 PAP to CG Track = High Roller Axis Tilt: 17 degrees Circ: 11 inch -------------------- -----0--0----------- --------------PIN--- -------------------X weight hole PAP 5 7/8"---> 1/2"-^ ----------cg-------- -------------------- -------------------- ------0------------- static balance = Legal (will post when I get a chance to weight again-can't remember) weight hole was necessary to make it legal. This ball can be used on any lane condition if the outsides are dry. I lay mine across 11 out to 7 at a house that tends to oil from 10 to 10. It comes back and slams the pocket with power that very few balls provide. Very similar to the hit of the inferno line. I have to make sure to keep this ball polished or it will hook early and lose some of the power on the backend. It is amazingly consistent and predictable, very strong ball. I like a ball that is good at playing a particular line but I like to be able to play the lane with it. This is the only thing holding this ball back.<scr

Good ball over all with tremendous hitting power, Works better when polished than dull. It is a brillant ball for the drier condition because it is so clean smooth on the lane, overall a good ball that will hook if you want it to but if you bowl it to slow it will take off like a rocket, STORM RULES,STORM RULES,STORM RULES,STORM RULES,STORM RULES,STORM RULES,STORM RULES, STORM RULES, STORM RULES, STORM RULES, STORM RULES STORM RULES,STORM RULES, STORM RULES, STORM RULES,STORM RULES,STORM RULES, STORM RULES, STORM RULES,STORM RULES, STORM RULES, STORM RULES,STORM RULES, STORM RULES, STORM RULES,

My first Storm ball and I do like it a lot. It has good lenth and I can flatten the shot out for 10 pin spares. If I get it out too far it comes back hard and cleans up! I tried it on wood lanes (medium oil) right out of the box and it was okay. When the lanes broke down a bit I had to move a few boards over but it was a very consistent roll to the pocket. When I used it on synthetic it hooked way too much so I polished it and now its good. First ball I've ever owned that had a smell and it's cool.

I got a blem of this ball, (slight error with the logos) and its the best ball iv ever had. Its quite unique in the way it rolls, iv never had anything else that can cope with dry conditions so well. It revs up qucikly and moves loads off the backend in a very smooth motion. Plus it smell beautiful thats always a bonus. I use this every league night and its never failed me yet. I liked it so much i got hold of another one just in case this one ever lets me down. So go and buy one you wont regret it

If your a TRUE storm bowler, then you will get this ball. I had never had a 700 series till i bought this ball. The first week after i got it, I shot a warm up game of 203, then i shot my series of 258-239-221. This ball might end up in your bag and you might lose track of it, but dont! I recently got the RS-X and about 2 months ago i got the Vertigo. Those two balls are AWESOME. Right now my bag consist of the Hot Rod Hybrid, The Storm Triple X-Factor, The RS-X, and The Vertigo. My spare ball, which is one of the coolest, is a 1964 rubber ball. That thing is great! Back to what I was saying... If you can tell, i have some pretty awesome equipment to use when i step onto the lanes. Well i lost my attention towards my Hybrid and didn't shoot any games in like a month and a half. I pulled it out today (07-14-05) and shot a 257 first game. Went 7 straight, 9 open, 9 spare (thanks to solid ten pins), then struck out. I then realized that ball has such a nice roll, it rips right thru the ra

This ball is a dry lane monster, it goes long and comes back with a slight hook, not a lot of backend like may other people says it has. Perfect for down the first or even the second arrow on a house shot, and some sport shots. It is also very forgiving on a house shot and the smell of the ball which is cinnamon apple is pretty good aslo. My HRHB has a pin out and is drilled with the pin south east of my fing finger. I got my stuff drilled at Sardegna Pro Shop at Regal Lanes in Tampa, Florida. GO STORM ! ! ! !

My ball has standard drilling(cg 1" from pin) and experiences little flair. A very versatile ball, smooth action to the pocket in medium/dry. Can be made to perform out of tournament conditions on lanes with a lot of carry down. The strikes this ball produces are almost textbook. Not too heavy, so it doesnt lose pins through over-reaction, but heavy enough not to leave a doubt. You wont notice any heavy action into the pocket unless your bowling as slow as grandma! With this ball theres still a chance to take the ten pin head on. Note: It doesnt move as much as the newer XXX factor in the same conditions.

The even and consistent break of this ball makes it a very reliable ball on medium oil. It really pounds the pins and because of its consistent break you really have to throw a bad ball to be out of the pocket. This is a great ball for a house shot, but when as the lane breaks down and it comes time to take different angles and approaches, the ball doesn't seem as versatile as some others in my arsenal. This is generally the ball I use when I am not familiar with the conditions of a particular house.

Punched this ball up after all the reading I did saying how weak this piece would be. Punch it with the pin over the middle finger and cg under the ring finger...1/4 negative, 7/8 finger. Are you thinking this ball should not hook, WRONG! This ball is as close to cheating as it gets. Ball is very clean through the fronts and reads the mid and back lane well. My #1 ball out of the bag was my Flash Point, it's hard to put the Hybrid down. This ball is in the top 5 of balls. Glad Storm is not falling into the market trend of producing one hook ball after another.

I'm no where near a pro, but with this ball I am able to do things I have never been able to do with any other ball I have. This a 'best kept secret' IMO..I raised my pin count 25 pins per game after just 3 games. For me...that's great ! I'd highly recommend this ball, but I only have med to dry lanes, can't say for heavy oil. This wil be the first and maybe last, ball out of the bag. Not sure how hard the belt marks are going to be to get off, but that's a minor thing.

This ball is an excellent addition to anyone arsenal that is looking for length on the dry, or to play a down and in shot on a fresh pattern. I like to play it down between 10 and 7 boards with high revs, so it goes way down the alley, then reacts to the dry with a sharp cutting motion hammering the pins. If you get it in though, it will catch the oil and skid all the way to the pins leaving you with a nasty wash out, it must be thrown to a break point outside the oil line. It is also not a ball of choice on a sport condition, just does not have the traction in the oil. Overall, if you liked the Storm Blue Thuder at all, even the color, this will also be a ball that you will like.
