this ball hooks a lot for its price point. clean through the fronts with its low diff core and still has enough teeth on pearl cover so it doesn't miss the spot at the end of the pattern, very impressive ball, definitely the strongest ball in its price point."

Absolutely love the Hyped Pearl. It's clean, angular and on the weaker side of the spectrum. When the lanes are deep into transition and you need a ball that will clear the fronts and reserve energy down lane the Hyped Pearl is a great option. Also, the Hyped line will work well on those higher friction surfaces. The hybrid version is smoother and more forward compared agains the pearl.

The Hyped Pearl is my favorite of the four new Storm releases. My first thought was that it is similar to a Burner Pearl, but it goes through the pins better for me. The little bit more angle down lane helps me get the corners out. This ball has an RG of 2.52 and a differential of 0.36. It is in Roto Grip's HP2 line, so you can expect it to be a little stronger than both new Hustles. I will throw the Hyped Pearl right before the Hustle Camo, then go into the Hustle Wine. Those three are a great combination of balls for when the lanes are hooking. It is comparable to the Electrify Solid as well. Both of these balls are great options for house shots. Hp2 price point with a Hp4 reaction. Super easy through the front part of the lane with all the angle anyone would ever need in the back. Fantastic looking on the shelf and going down the lane will make this piece a winner for all styles.

Roto Grip Hyped Pearl Layout: 5 x 4 x 3 Rev Rate: 325 rpm, 7 degree of axis tilt, 40 degree of axis rotation Testing information: 40 foot THS (medium to light volume) Bowling Center: Fulton Bowling Center Kegel Machine – Brunswick Anvilane The Roto Grip Hyped Pearl utilizes the Hyped Core and VTC pearl coverstock. The Hyped Pearl reminded me a little of the MVP Pearl in regards to how easy it clears the front part of the lane. The Hyped Pearl is stronger on the back end for me than the MVP Pearl. I have used the Hyped Pearl in several league nights so far. I have been impressed with the Hyped Pearl. The intention of this line of balls was to fill the gap between the HP3 and HP1 lines. I feel Roto Grip has accomplished this goal. The carry has been impressive. The Hyped Pearl is going to be most effective on medium and medium light conditions. I am looking forward to using the Hyped Pearl in tournaments after the breakdown in lane conditions happens. Visit your local Storm VIP Pro Shop! #Stormnation #SquadRG

Layout 55 x 4-3/8 x 45 at box surface The Hyped Pearl brings all the new Hyped Core wrapped in the VTC pearl coverstock found on the Hustle Wine. The new Hyped Core in the HP2 line gives more midlane motion than the Hustle line in the HP1 line and more overall ball strength. First impressions of this ball was that I was truly impressed with the motion this provides for this price point. I was able to test on both a typical house pattern and a 37' sport pattern. On the house shot, I was seeing a pretty defined shape in the dry while also seeing enough strength in the oil to possibly use at all games in league depending on your pattern. My house pattern is 44' so it is a little more difficult to use when the lanes are fresh but it is fantastic in the transition phase when I need to throw the ball more left to right. If you are on a house pattern that is closer to 40' or has lower volume, I can see this ball working great for most games. On the 37' sport pattern, this ball was able to open up the pattern extremely well. I was able to be up the lane closer to the friction on the fresh and also able to hook most of the lane creating angle down lane with ease. I can see myself having this ball in my bag on shorter to medium sport patterns and most typical house patterns. Adam Chase Storm Staff
