I drilled up my Hustle USA 4.5 x 4 x 3. I have thrown it both at box finish and with 2000 on it. What I notice with the HUSTLE USA is a round shape that is surprisingly strong for what is considered the starting line for Roto Grip. I was able to use this on some medium and short patterns with good recovery when it was time to give the pocket away. Compared to my HUSTLE CAMO, it is a little more down lane motion and really gets thru the front when the CAMO is starting to flatten out. This is another of those low end sleeper balls from Roto Grip that will give performance without breaking your wallet.

Hustle USA 4 x 4 x 2 This ball simply out performs its price point. This has quickly become my benchmark symmetrical ball. This is the perfectly compliment to my stronger Zen Master, especially on medium and house patterns where I do not want to open my angles too fast. The weaker core but solid cover allows me to blend the cliffed house patterns I experience at both centers I bowl at.

Hustle USA. First off how cool does this ball look.... Another hit in the Hustle line. From entry level to the tournament bowler this ball is a hit, For me this is the biggest back end ball for me off the Hustle line. This balls gets down lane with ease and really makes that stick motion down lane. Really good on the fresh shot .. loving this hustle

Lets start out that I am a bug fan of the RG Hustle Line. They are really a lot of bang for your buck. As they preform way beyond the low end line. From the Hustle Ink being probably the most popular, to one of my favorites the Camo. The Hustle USA has great colors and shelf appeal. I drilled mine with my favorite pin up drilling, 5x4x2 which puts the pin above the middle finger. I added Storm step 2 to the surface. I know some staffers have the USA a little flippy, but I saw an earlier motion with a strong arc on the back. Which is prefect for me when the lanes are wet dry and or pretty clean on the backs. I have used the USA on house, usually 2nd or 3rd game. But where is really shines for me is the medium or short sport patterns. It just gives me control. Hustle USA is ball down from Night Road and Dark Moss. Schlemer did really good with the Hustle USA! Roto Grip Hustle USA Ball Review by PJ Haggerty After drilling several of the Hustle line balls over the years, the Hustle USA is the latest addition and stands out from the rest. I've seen all types of players use this ball. The person who's just starting to bowl but doesn't want to spend money on a high performance ball loves the Hustle because of it's price point. The league bowlers who want a compliment to some of their other equipment have enjoyed it because when lanes break down, the Hustle is a perfect fit. Lastly, the tournament players love it for those shorter patterns when they need to control the pocket. I've drilled one so far and really like it. The differential is .30 so my goal was to make sure it flares enough, otherwise it might be too straight. I mapped it as 4 x 4 and left the surface alone. I've had the most success on medium to shorter patterns when the backends are crispy or when the middle of the lane is flat. It's much cleaner than the high performance balls, but still provides a slower response time that can be extremely useful. If you're drilling your first ball, need a compliment to some of your other equipment, or need a ball for shorter patterns, the Hustle USA should be the next ball you drill.

I drilled the Hustle USA with a 50x4x25 layout. The intent for this ball was to allow me to stay further right when the friction started to develop. Since I am a low rev player this helps me not have to move further left. The high RG AND Low differential core helps the ball to get through the front part of the lane without hooking to early. This ball is perfect for me late into game 2 or game 3 when my bigger balls start hooking to much. I love how this ball rolls.

The new Hustle USA features the VTC Hybrid cover and the well-known Hustle core. The biggest difference I see in the USA versus say the Hustle Wine and Camo, is that the USA is earlier and more continuous than the its counterparts. While the overall hook values are similar, the USA feels like it can handle more oil because it is not as quick off the friction or quick to stop as other Hustles. I was expecting the Hustle USA to remind me of the Hustle HYB of years past but I don't get those vibes at all. The USA almost feels like the hyped Solid's little brother. For me It seems to work best when it does not try to cover a ton of boards. Once I get too far in and swing it away from the pocket the USA doesn't seem to be strong enough. But for me it is a monster and playing straighter up the lane either on the fresh or the transition before having to go into a weaker cover and opening up the lane.

Ball Review Hustle USA RG: 2.53 Dif: .030 Cover: VTC Hybrid Cover 3000 Factory Finish PAP 5 3/8 over 1 5/16 UP, Medium/Ball Speed Rev Rate 255-300 Layout: 4 x 4 x 2 The newest addition to the Hustle line in the Hustle USA and did this ball surprise me. This new hybrid cover is stronger than you might think for a "entry level" ball. I have become a big fan of hybrid covers. The USA has a nice smooth motion with a strong backend motion. It's a bit longer than hyped hybrid and a bit more angular off the spot. The USA doesn't over reaction off friction and is good on medium oil conditions. The USA is controlled and can be a good transition ball that can blend out the pattern as well as starting on fresh depending on your style. The Hustle USA is a keeper!

This ball is going to be a great ball for experienced league bowlers or the bowlers that are new to the sport. This layout is a very controllable layout and allows me to play a little further right than other balls and maintains a smooth shape on the back end. For me this is a great ball for the first ball out of my bag on league or when I need a bailout and trying to control a pattern. Compared to the Hustle Camo this ball is going to read a touch more in the mids but will give a stronger shape. The balls play similar, but the camo is going to be a stronger ball compared to the Hustle Camo. It is a great bang for your buck. Get yours today at your local Storm VIP pro shop. Roto Grip Hustle USA: Hustle Core with VTC Hybrid cover stock – factory finish is 3000ab, but I changed the surface to match my 2 nd Hustle CAMO that is 4k fast. The layout is 50 x 4 x 50. Currently using it in my scratch doubles league on a 46ft THS that was a BIG cliff on the back of the pattern and not really blended well front to back and side to side. Super dry outside of 12 and super heavy conditioner between 16 to 16 across the boards with older HPL lane panels. I love this Hustle USA, because it outperforms all other Hustles that have been released since the Hustle INK was discontinued on this THS, The CAMO is smoother and not as strong in the backend as the USA, the USA will roll through the heavier part of the pattern without giving up as much energy as the CAMO. The USA still turns the corner from the hook to roll phase of the ball motion. The coloring allows me to read the direction changes on the ball more clearly than the Hustle CAMO and Wine. Even as the carry down starts and we get into later games, the ball does not give up and lose any power and carry. The Hustle USA outperforms balls on the market that are $30 to $80 higher in price. The team in Utah has won a GOLD medal on this Hustle USA.

The all new Hustle USA is the newest addition to the Hustle line. The Hustle line has been the best low tier ball line in the market and the USA will be no exception. The Hustle USA features the VTC Hybrid Coverstock with a 3000 grit finish. This is a lethal combination that helps players of all abilities have a strong controllable piece for all oil patterns. This ball will be particularly good for players that are rev dominant that are looking for a step down from a Phase II, Idol Helios, and/or a Zen Soul. You do not want to miss out on this ball, go out and get yours today!

I drilled this one 45X5 1/2X30 the same layout as my hustle pbr. Once again it just reminds me why i love hybrids so much, great ball for leagues once the lanes transition and have to move left, gets down lane very very easy and with the colors you can see it make that turn towards the pocket with a ton of hitting power. Starts out 3000 and i hit mine with 2000 to get it to start up a little earlier cause of my ball speed. Great for all bowlers from the beginner bowling learning to hook the ball or low rev bowler to your pro or high rev for those flatter patterns or game 3 of league night or tournament. And with the price point you cant go wrong, the hustle line has done it once again in my book!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone, I'm back with another ball review, and this time it's for the Roto Grip Hustle USA and in 15 pounds this ball is wrapped in the VTC (Versatile Traction Control) Hybrid Reactive Cover stock and comes 3000-grit polished with an RG of 2.53, Diff of .030. Depending on the surface of the Hustle USA, bowlers will be able to use this on low-to-medium oil conditions. There are not many balls that can cover a variety of conditions, especially at an entry level price point. To give a comparison the Hustle Wine will glide just a tad through the front of the lane compared to the Hustle Camo. This two-ball release will be a nice transition when the "benchmark" balls are just too early. The Solid and Pearl will naturally be longer and stronger. The Hustle USA is what I saw as the replacement for the Hustle PBR. It comes out of box sanded with the VTC Hybrid cover. Although it's got surface, I still saw plenty of pop down lane, likely due to the higher RG and lower differential moving the breakpoint much further down lane. I put a 70 x 5.5 x 70 layout on mine to combat the very dry house conditions we have here locally. This is probably the smoothest ball front to back I have ever thrown. It just never jumps, ever. Some of that could be due to layout, but it's just incredibly, incredibly smooth. I can throw it directly on top of friction and not see early hook. If you need control, look no further.

Another great addition to the Hustle line. Roto Grip introducing the all new Hustle USA. The same core we all know and can rely on in the Hustle USA, wrapped with the VTC Hybrid Reactive coverstock. What you'll see out of this ball is a cleaner, low end symmetrical piece but also very round and smooth. This ball is great when the lanes have a lot of friction or the patterns are on the flatter side. This ball provides a smooth and dependable shape, but can still come around the corner from steeper angles. This ball is a lot smoother than the Hustle Wine but not as early as a Hustle Camo. The perfect in between for the low end pieces from Roto Grip. It also handles surface changes very well. Shining this ball up gives you more of a skid-snap motion downlane and bringing the surface down gives you a low end ball that can still handle oil and continue through the pins. Roto Grip Hustle USA Coverstock: Versatile Traction Control (VTC) Hybrid Reactive Core: Hustle Layout: 5 x 4 x 2 Wow. What a looker! I love red/white/blue swirl bowling balls. My pin up Hustle USA is the earliest and strongest Hustle I have ever thrown. It easily handles medium to longer oil patterns and is a great ball for beginners looking for their first "big hook ball" or experienced league or tournament bowlers looking to cover a variety of conditions with one ball. PAP 5" Over 1/2 up Rev Rate 300. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed at release 17 Review: The Hustle Line of balls has a lot of performance at a budget price. The Hustle USA hooks more than I expected and reads the lane pretty early. The Hustle USA creates a very nice controlled arch shape on the lane. Even though the USA rolls early it continues to drive through the pins very well. I put this ball a bit under my Camo (at the same box finish) but above my Hustle Pearl in total hook. The Hustle Line hits as hard as balls that cost much more. This ball would be a great choice for a newer bowler who wants a performance ball at a great price. The colors of the USA look great at box finish but it really looks good polished up. I polished mine and got a better amount of length with more backend motion while still being very controllable. This ball has been selling well at our shop due to the performance, price and color of the ball. The Hustle USA also has excellent hit and carry. Summary: The Hustle USA rolls like a higher priced ball. The motion and hit of this ball is very good. The Surface of the USA is adjusted easily. This ball should work well for all styles of bowlers. This patriotic beauty starts with the proven Hustle core. And with the VTC Hybrid coverstock, the Hustle USA brings another great success to the Hustle line. This winning combination of core and cover produced some great results. So, let's break it down on a THS! The Hustle Core is a proven industry standard core. From its first production in the Hustle INK, the Hustle Core has been stable, consistent, and predictable, making it an excellent choice for many style bowlers. The Hustle Core will give new bowlers their first view of skid hook and roll and why it is essential to understand it in your game. And for the veteran bowler, the Hustle Core will give you that smooth continuous motion you count on for those late-night broken-down conditions. The Hustle Core is very dependable, and you can trust its motion to deliver results. The new VTC (Versatile Traction Control) Hybrid Coverstock brings a fresh and robust look to the Hustle line. And the new VTC Hybrid coverstock delivers the consistency I like to see when I need it. I started out by changing the surface of the Hustle USA to 1500-grit Abralon for a league night of bowling. And although I had to be soft and easy off my hand as the night began, I liked how the VTC Hybrid had a good amount of traction in the mid-lane. And that traction stayed consistent all night long. From the start, when I was playing right of the second arrow - to late night when I was looking at the third arrow, the VTC cover blended the conditions quite well all night. Roto Grip suggests the VTC Hybrid coverstock is for low to medium oil patterns. And I would agree, as this is where the Hustle USA shines most brilliantly! So, in conclusion, the Hustle USA is an excellent release by Roto Grip. So, if you are a beginner bowler looking to start bowling, the Hustle USA makes a great first ball. And for seasoned bowlers looking for a low to medium-volume ball to fit their arsenal, the Hustle USA is an excellent choice. So stop by, visit your local pro shop operator, and have a Hustle USA drilled for you today! Then enjoy a great night of bowling with the red, white, and blue Hustle USA! It is well worth it! 45 x 4 3/8 x 35 There have been many times over the years where the amount of motion that I get out of the various Hustles has surprised me, but this one takes the cake. The amount of midlane and backend motion that I get out of the Hustle USA easily rivals that of bowling balls that cost $50+ more than this ball. That is also after I hit the ball with a 4000 pad! Possibly due to the mild nature of the core, there isn't much early traction (which is good), but it digs in HARD once it reaches the late midlane. In box finish, I would need a good bit of oil to be able to use this ball. At 4000, it is great on medium conditions, but it is strong enough down lane that it is too much to use down-and-in.

The all new hustle usa has the hustle core wrapped in a vtc hybrid reactive coverstock. The ball is finished at 3000 grit. I ended up laying mine out like the hustle rap and the new hustle usa reads the lane sooner with still having that bite on the back end. For the price of this ball yoiu wont be disappointed in the performance. Get to your local pro shop and drill this gem up.

Roto Grip Hustle USA Layout: 4.5 x 3.5 x 2 Rev Rate: 325 rpm, 7 degree of axis tilt, 40 degree of axis rotation Testing information: 40 foot THS (medium to light volume) Bowling Center: Fulton Bowling Center Kegel Machine – Brunswick Anvilane The Roto Grip Hustle USA utilizes the Hustle Core and VTC hybrid coverstock. The Hustle USA has been one of my more anticipated releases as of late. We tested on a 3-day old league shot that followed a mix league, youth league, and two days of open bowling. Therefore, testing conditions were not ideal. The Hustle USA did impress though. I see the Hustle USA being my No. 4 ball in my six ball arsenal. I anticipate being able to through it in league and to start medium volume sport patterns. The Hustle USA was very predictable and the carry was good. I see it getting even better as we get a few games on it. We tested against a lane-shined iQ Tour. The Hustle USA was a touch earlier and smoother on the back end than the iQ Tour. This cold have been the difference in surface prep. We saw a lot of Hustle PBR characteristics in the USA. Visit your local Storm VIP Pro Shop! #Stormnation #SquadRG

The newest Hustle to the hustle family is the USA this is the hybrid solid version. When i drilled mined it picked up faster than my camo with the same layout 60 x 5 x 40. This ball looks great on a med to medium dry house pattern allows me to move right after the lanes breakdown from balls like my gem or x-3

"The Hustle USA is the latest addition to Roto Grip's HP1 line. With the Hustle Core wrapped in the VTC Hybrid Cover, this ball will provide the consistency, versatility, and performance that bowlers will look for on THS or light-medium sport patterns. This coverstock is incredibly responsive to surface changes and allows you to use it in various conditions throughout league play or tournament play. I drilled my Hustle USA 6x4x2.5 2LS to give me a ball I could throw on THS. This ball allows me to close my angles and lets me blend out the over/under seen on many house shots. I also have thrown mine on a couple of short patterns after I have gotten out of urethane, and the Hustle USA stays clean through the fronts but still reacted smoothly through carry-down. This ball will be a must for league and tournament bowlers alike because of the versatility this core/cover combo gives you. Bowl up a Storm!
