I got this ball from a friend of mine who is a Senior Pro who used to use exclusively Roto-Grip and has moved on to other companies. Got the ball redrilled and resurfaced and the rest is history. I've had the ball about 3 onths now and i have already shot 3 289's (one with the front 10 and a stone 9 pin on the 11th shot), multiple 279's and i'm averaging about 220 with the ball in my summer league now. It's a beast I gotta tell you. It has a beautiful roll to it and it just hits the pins harder than anything i have ever seen. Trust me, if you like to hook the ball, but you would rather have something that is controllable rather than flippy, this is the ball for you.

overall I like this ball, it is the first one I pull out of the bag to see how the lane conditions are. It reads the lane very well, consistantly. The ball saves a lot of the power it has for the pins. It can be used for a variety of lane conditions you just have to alter the coverstock, polish or scotch brite it. heavier the oil the more dull you want this ball. this ball works like a thermometer taking a temp, it reads the lanes awesome and lets you know what to expect. Glad I have this ball. I would probably not use this ball in tournament conditions though due to the heavy oil. the ball still comes up consistantly but I don't like the reaction in heavy oil.

I bought this ball the exzact same place and same time and from the same person as my roto-retro red. Not sure of drill specs. This ball isn't my most hooking ball, that honor belongs to my retro, but this ball is my most consistent , and is one of my favorite balls. I throw this ball on a normal house shot, I stand 8 boards from the last dot on the left and throw it over 3rd arrow out to about board 7 and BAM! and then there are no more pins. This is the ball I shot my high series with and I love this ball.

Good ball for medium to oily lanes with any backends. All types and styles of bowlers could use a ball like this one.Very readable and very playable on a wide range of conditions. If your looking for a ball that's hooks a little sooner than your reactive's and give you a smooth arcing backend with plenty of HIT!! this is the ball for you, I have used this ball on a wide range of lane conditions in American and German bowling centers where the shot can vary from very easy to almost impossible. The assault gives me a go to ball on the lader of the two conditions. No guess work here, when on the wrong condition you will know right away!!!<scr
