Drilled four of these so far with four different layouts. Benchmark = 65/3.5/35 Long and Strong = 85/2.75/40 P1 Hole Midlane = 50/4.75/30 Control = 70/5/50 P4 Hole All three of these give me a great amount of length on all different patterns. The Benchmark and control I like to use on house conditions when the Reax 2 is just a little too much. The long and strong layout is great for dry lanes; excellent length and recovery. The midlane layout works amazing on sport conditions when my heavy rolling balls are just a little too "roll-y" and I need that extra pop in the backend to carry those flat 10s. The coverstock works great with surface changes. I keep the control at 4000 dull, midlane at 1500 and the benchmark and long and strong at box. Even with the sanded covers I do not see that early grab in the midlane that my Yeti Untamed (DT Layout 2000 Dull) and Reax Version 2 (50/5/30 2000 Dull) give me which allows me to stay right a little bit longer and create more angle. Great ball, does EXACTLY what the design is for. Its also extremely versatile to drilling techniques and weight holes. See an educated driller on the Dual Angle Layout, pick a good layout for YOU, and this ball will work wonders.

The Reax Gusto fills that top end skid/flip gap in a arsenal. I used my benchmark drill 45 x 5-9/16 x 70. Haven't had much success with the Gusto on heavy fresh conditions but on the medium to lighter patterns or on broken down patterns the Gusto will flex its muscles. The Gusto will clear the front easier than the other Reax's but has a stronger kick on the backend to recover from those deeper angles and continues through the pins without much energy loss which in turn get those corner pins out. If your in the market for a strong skid/flip asymmetric to fill that gap in your arsenal give the Gusto a try.
