I drilled this Guru pin down (45x5-9/16x70) to compliment my first Guru (pin up). After having used my first Guru at a couple of tournamnets I found that I was in need of a second Guru that would start reading the lane a little sooner and be a little smoother off the breakpoint than my first Guru and that is what I got with this one. I can't say enough about how good the Guru is and how good the entire team at Radical is in developing these great pieces of equipment. Looking forward to the next great release from Radical.

The Guru is the ball of the year in my book. I liked my Reax's but the Guru is something very special. Phil and Mo out did themselves with this one. I drilled this one Pin Up on the recommendation of Mo and couldn't be happier with it. It has performed better than I first thought and it continues to shine each time I use it. The Guru turned many heads on my first night using it with its hitting power and its hook. The Guru is everything that promised and more. If you're in the market for a top end heavy oil ball this is for you.

Drilled another Guru! 90/2.5/35 This ball gives me length and back end. I like this one for medium to oil conditions. The 90* drilling angle makes the transitions through the night easy to read making for predictable adjustments and more strikes! I recommend this type of layout for low tilt, rev dominant bowlers. You will be impressed! It goes long, but not too long with the strong cover. The 2.5 pin to PAP reduces flare, and maintains tilt and rotation for the stronger down lane motion. This one flares about 2 inches in oil and about 3-4 inches in the dry. My 50/5/40 Guru flares about 5 inches in the oil and all the way back to my fingers on the opposite side of my grip in the back end.

Drilled one so far, 50/5/40. At the 500-1500 box finish I saw a lot of midlane roll. I started playing straight and found the pocket with an even rolling reaction. During the same game I decided to see what this ball has got. I moved more and more left about 3 times and let the ball hook. Read pretty well in the midlane, but it kept on going through the pins. Very impressed with how hard this ball hits, even when it reads early. I then tried it out at 3000. I added a surprising amount of length compared to the 500-1500 box finish. With that length I saw more backend out than I have ever seen on this strong of an asymmetric. This seemed to add even more hitting power and still allowing me to hook the ball. So far I see a lot of versatility with the cover. By just slightly raising the grit to 3000 I saw a lot of length and at the 1500 I saw that nice heavy rolling midlane read. Both reaction gave me lots of backend and hit. The core of this ball is true groundbreaking technology. The Finger Scoop is even deeper than previous balls allowing you to maintain that core height and increase the diffs of the drilled ball. This core, along with every Radical ball, is designed not so that you don't hit the core when drilling, but so you hit it in the right spots based on your layout to benefit you more than any other ball. If you can't alter the RG and Diff's of the drilled ball, it cannot truly be customized to fit your game! Another great ball by Radical Bowling Technologies.
