This ball was very intriguing to me because I love particle pearl coverstocks and wanted a high tech asymmetrical core ball. I got this ball off of ebay and according to the ad it has a particle pearl coverstock. The pro shop guy who drilled it for me says it is a Brunswick Danger Zone coverstock wrapped around the Vanguard core. This is interesting because the Danger Zone Pearlized coverstock (PowrKoil 18 pearl) was on discontinued balls from 1996. Anyway, the out of the box finish was rough buff which hooked too much for me on a THS, so I put Brunswick Factory finish polish on it. The ball rolls very smooth and makes a big turn on the backend. The ball drives soo hard into the pocket that I left a few 4-9 splits. It is going to take me a while to tame this beast but I'm sure it will be a big weapon for me once I learn how to control it. *Update 12-20-05*: I used this ball on wood lanes, xmas tree pattern, medium oil. The ball was very predictable and hard hitting, excellent c
