Covering Reaction: What can I say? The Trauma Unit Carbide is without a doubt the most controllable, forgiving, and versatile ball I've ever used. You can throw this ball almost anywhere on reasonable lane conditions and it will come gliding back to the pocked with elegance and power. The reaction itself is both extremely controlable and readable. It falls right in between the realms of angular and smooth, making it very easy to control, virtually regardless of the lane condition. This ball very rarely over reacts or skids under the pocket because of this. The readability of this ball is also truly amazing. You know exactly what this ball is going to do the second it comes off your hand. Finally, this ball revs up at an average rate and generally seems less sensitive to axis rotation, further contributing to its controlability... Covering Hit/Carry: The carry on this ball has to be seen to beleive. I have thrown more brooklyn and headpin strikes with this ball than any other b

I have 2 reload, 1 deuce n 3 Xfaxtors. But this one turned out the best I love; As long as you throw out to the 8 boards; it will come back to the pocket. Doesn't matter fast or slow, fishing or hand up. Lots of time people asked me " Do you have a remote control in my pockets". Ball did really well in carry down, messy conditions. Fresh oil , of course No problems at all. Imagine the ball is running only at 10 mph and strike, Or 24mph and strike. Sorry guys this is an oversea ball, and it sold out. I am still looking for at least 2 more 14 lbs.

I have to give this ball two thumbs up. This ball has to be one of the smoothest hooking balls I have ever thrown. I am a huge Storm fan so any time I get a chance to throw a different ball from them I jump at the chance. Well let me tell you this ball will not disappoint you if you get a chance to get one, do it. This ball has just enough skid to get it through the heads before it starts to turn over and go to the pocket. I am very pleased with the carry, wether light or high, this ball makes those pins fly. Also like the way this ball keeps the pins flying low around the deck. Drilling: Pin on this ball is only 1" out. Pin was placed under ring finger with the CG inside the span. Overall rating on a 1 to 10 scale is a 9. If you ever get a chance to get this ball jump at it.

As long as this ball is approved for U.S. play, I feel it is as good as anything I have purchased. This ball has a very good reaction anywhere between the 13 and 23 boards, with no real out of bounds right on house shots. This ball is very predictable at the midlane, and strong all the way through the decks. I am impressed with all I have seen so far, although it has been only 3 weeks since purchased. As long as this ball doesn't die out like some of my Ebonite equipment, it should be a keeper for some time.
