The Jackhammer
So, I got to roll the ball that ruined the sport of bowling, the very first ever reactive bowling ball, and I have to admit I really liked it. It reminded me of my Desert Heat, except that the cover did a lot of work. The cover was very soft and tacky, creating that agressive reaction that I love, although it did not flare very much. I tend to like those balls that don't flare as much, and this was no exception. I really don't have much more to say right now. I will update as I learn more of it, until then, I hate this 100 word minimum.<sc

WELL I STUMBLED ACROSS THIS ONE. IM A LANE MAN/ MECHANIC AT A BOWL HERE IN TOWN AND I WAS BSING WITH ONE OF THE DESK GUYS AT WORK ABOUT SEEING THESE ON THE NET FOR $150 AND NOT WANTING TO PAY THAT. HE SAID I COULD HAVE HIS. WHAT A DEAL I GOT. IM ADDING THIS ONE TO MY SUMMER ARSENAL SO MY LANE #I STUFF CAN TAKE A VACATION. THIS BEAUTY FEEDS DOWN THE LANE WELL AND ROLLS UP STRONG INTO THE HOLE. ON THE HOUSE SHOT HERE I CANT HOOK IT MUCH BCUZ WE HAVE A PILE OF OIL IN THE CENTER BUT RIGHT UP THE TRACK WILL REWARD U WITH AN X. THE LABEL IS RIGHT IN THE PALM ON THIS ONE AND I THINK ONCE I GET MY DRILL IN IT AND CLEAN THE SURFACE UP IT WILL BE AN EVEN BETTER BALL. I WOULD GUESS THAT THIS BALL WILL TURN INTO SOMETHING CLOSER TO A MODERN BALL AS FAR AS HOOK WHEN THE HEADS DRY UP BUT ILL JUST HAVE TO SEE. ON OUR SHOT THERE JUST WASNT ENOGUH COVER ON THE BALL TO GET DEEP AND SEND IT, WELL MAYBE IF YOU HAVE A 600 RPM REV RATE BUT I DONT SO IM NOT GOING TO TRY TO DO THAT. OVERALL, I PLACE

This ball may not be a technical marvel, but it is worth admiring on some levels. This ball helped to revolutionize the sport of bowling. The hit and snap that this ball gave paved the way for the reactive revolution. Although I don't personally feel that Nu-Line ever really created a fantastic ball, they did help initiate bowling into the next generation. I think that Nu-Line deserves great credit for this achievement! I still have a purple-pearl X-Calibur, and although it pretty much never comes out of the bag, I will not be getting rid of it until the wife finally decides that it is taking up too much room. Then I'll just keep it in my car!
