This ball will bum you out if you throw it dull because it uses all it's energy early and simply rolls out flat. Once you hit it with 2000 grit, the fun begins! Ball carries better than average with great transition from skid to roll. We drilled it first with a 4 X 4 layout and enjoyed the almost skid/snap reaction. (recommended drilling) Then we plugged and drilled 3 3/8 X 5 and this drilling was a bit too strong for med to med/dry conditions. the ball kept flaring over the thumb hole and rolled out even on med/long conditions. Once you match your finish to your house conditions, it's an ALL NIGHT ball with only minor line changes as the lanes break down. This ball is still found on Ebay quite often and usually you can pick one up for around $50 bucks

i used a 16 lb. ball then i took factory finish and run on grey pads then spun to high polish with ebonite factory polish then extender polish and then storm xtra shine, then i drilled it 4-1/2 x 3 with 1/2 pos. side weight and 1/2 finger weight, the ball rolls long and finishes strong so far the only ten pin i have ever left with this ball was one pitch that i dropped, if i can find more of these balls new i will definetly buy them and stick them in the closet for when i wear this one out. this ball has a similar weight block to the hammer deisel and the columbia reaction rip. i have about twenty balls right now and i have gone through over thirty balls in the last 6 months (and 99% of them new releases) and not a one of them come close to this one.
