This is a great compliment to the Flair IMO, when the Flair is too much in the heads and you need something that still has similar continuation this is the ball to go to! This is also one of the first balls out of my bag for league nights, so smooth off the spot and it reads the mid lane so well. The continuation... it will run right over the 8 pin every time! Special Edition ball so get yours on order! Motiv Staff - Tim Emmers

The VIP from Motiv is the first ball in collaboration with EJ Tackett and boy is it a special piece. I'm trying to recommend this piece to everyone that is looking for a cleaner ball that can be used towards the end of league or a tournament. This ball features one of our cleanest, and responsive covers which is the infusion pearl reactive cover which really clears the front, and really kicks down lane. For people that loved the Octane, this ball features the same core as the Octane but with an updated cover. I drilled my VIP with a 4 inch pin to my PAP and a 70 degree VAL angle which ended up putting the pin under my ring finger. Despite the stronger pin, this ball easily gets down the lane and still recovers from anywhere. This ball is great when you have to move left at the end of a tournament and get your ball down the lane and still flip hard enough to get the corners out. What's also amazing is that this cover takes to surface adjustments great! So if your VIP is going too long, don't be afraid to take an abralon pad to it. Get your hands on this special limited edition piece before it's gone!

50 x 4.5 x 35 Bowler Stats: Rev Rate – 400-425 Ball Speed – 16.5 mph (down-lane) PAP – 3 3/4 over, zero Right-handed Test Environment: 41' USBC White 2 Review: The Limited Edition ExJ VIP brings me back to the first couple of MOTIV bowling balls I ever owned, the Thrash and QZ1 Purple, which both contained the Quadfire Core. While expecting a benchmark type reaction with the VIP, I compared it with the Ripcord Flight which has been one of the first pieces out of my bag at a lot of tournaments recently. Generally using the Ripcord Flight on the fresher patterns, I was sure that the VIP would be a bit faster responsive downlane than the Ripcord Flight. It didn't take me long to realize how well these two pair together. The VIP also has the amount of control that it can be used on fresh patterns and throughout the night or block of games. The ExJ VIP brings me back to the first MOTIV pieces that I ever had, but with a huge upgrade with the Infusion Cover. Although a Limited Edition, this is going to be huge for anyone that gets there hands on one (or two+). I can't express in words how well the ExJ VIP performs and matches well especially with my game. Darryl Carreon MOTIV Staff / PBA Member

The Limited Edition MOTIV ExJ VIP combines the Octane core with the Infusion Pearl cover from the Supra, and this combination gives you a ball that punches well above its weight class. This ball is suitable for medium to medium-heavy oil depending on how much hand you have. The best thing about this ball is the continuation. It rolls like a truck through the pin deck, pretending the rack isn't even there! It's super clean through the fronts and starts revving up in the 30-40 feet range, and then you get a super heavy roll on the backend, with a great change of direction and not much energy loss due to the clean Infusion cover. This ball is a Limited Edition release, so if you want one, don't wait. It's a limited production run and when they're gone, they're gone! Every time Motiv releases new ball, it provides a completely different shape and the VIP ExJ is no exception. This ball for me is a great compliment to the Supra. Works well when there is a touch to much oil for the Supra, but you want to stay in the same zone. It reads the mid lane beautifully and as a result, has a smooth reaction down lane compared to the more angular Supra. I am also able to throw it from the start of league and on. Another very versatile piece.
