Color: Turquoise Pearl / Purple Pearl Coverstock: Agility LFP Weight Block: Recon Factory Finish: 5500 Grit LSP Flare Potential: Low Radius of Gyration (RG): 2.60 Differential (Diff): 0.030 The pearl Freestyle Rush was given a differential boost and new shell to provide more shape down lane than the original Freestyle balls. Designed for light oil conditions, the Freestyle Rush gives bowlers more angle and greater continuation. The new Agility™ LFP (Low Friction Pearl) Reactive cover retains more energy in high friction environments so it can deliver a stronger response down lane. The turquoise and purple pearl cover is tuned at the factory with a 5500 Grit LSP finish to further retain energy and compliment the intent of the cover stock. The core in the Freestyle Rush is the same Recon shape, but the 14# - 16# weight blocks have been given a performance boost. The 15# model is now a 2.60 RG with .030 differential. This increased differential increases the flare potential to provide stronger motion at the backend of the lane.

This ball is the newest introduction into the Freestyle line of MOTIV bowling balls. The MOTIV Freestyle Rush features the new Agility LFP (Low Friction Pearl) Reactive cover stock combined with the Recon core (with a boost for more backend reaction). It's very clean through the lane, therefore it retains energy and makes a strong move on the backend. Most importantly, it has more angle and greater continuation than most low friction balls. It will be a great fit in your bag on light oil. The Freestyle Rush will be the ball you can count on when the lane are hooking and nothing else will go down the lane. This ball will give much more length than any other ball you will find at this very affordable price. My Freestyle Rush is laid out with the pin up (above the ring), the cg slightly shifted right and no extra hole. This ball has already found a place in my bag, it's a great go to ball when the lanes are hooking. The ball is very useful on short oil patterns, lanes with burned up headed and older surfaces. If you need a ball at a great price point for short and hooking patterns this is the ball you are looking for. Craig Auerbach MOTIV Staff Member Florida

The Freestyle Rush is an incredible compliment to the original Freestyle for when lanes are drier or in scenarios where lighter volumes of oil are used. I noticed the cleanliness through the front part of lane. However, the backend shape is more angular than original Freestyle. Pending on the pattern being played on, the Rush is a great go-to as the pattern begins to blend. Not only is it good-looking going down the lane, it has the hitting power and continuation through the pins like any other ball in the MOTIV line. The Freestyle Rush is an unbelievable compliment to quite a few pieces in the current lineup. For the lighter conditions, the Rush can easily be the ball to use for longer blocks of bowling. While more responsive than the original Freestyle, the backend shape is very controllable although mildly angular. The Freestyle Rush overall reaction and cover combination definitely keeps moves simple and smaller as lanes transition. Darryl Carreon MOTIV Staff / Bowlifi / PBA Member

Bob Benton Maryland Motiv Freestyle Rush ( http://www.motivbowling.com/products/balls/freestyle-rush.html) 90 x 2.5 x 40 (500 Abralon) Personal Stats: 400-450 RPM 18-20 MPH PAP - 5 5/8" over, 1" up Axis Tilt - Estimated 8-12 Degrees Current League Average: 238 Intended Use: For the Freestyle Rush, I used a short pin layout to control the downlane motion. My goal was to get urethane-like shape, with a reactive cover. Reaction: With the short-pin layout and 500 abralon surface, I achieved my goal. The Freestyle Rush sees the front part of the lane quickly and lays off down lane. This gives me a reactive option where urethane isn't quite enough. It's a step up from the Tank Rampage and below the other reactive balls in my bag. Overall: I filled a hole with the Freestyle Rush that I was aiming to fill. This ball fit a perfect niche in between urethane and the lowest reactive I previously had in my bag (Graffiti Tag). This ball will get a lot of play on shorter and flatter patterns where control is the name of the game.

Rev Rate: 500 Axis Tilt: 25 Axis Rotation: 45 Ball Speed:17 PAP Measurements: 4 1/8 Core: Recon Coverstock: Agility LFP Reactive Finish 5500 Grit LSP RG 2.60(for 15# ball) Differential: .030(for 15# ball) I'm very fond of small ball equipment because it allows me manipulate the reaction a little more extra than what I can do with higher ranked weaponry, which is why I have a lot of love for the Freestyle Rush. The Agility LFP Reactive coverstock is a step up from the Turmoil LFP Reactive that is on the original allowing for higher and deeper angles to be played, the Rush uses an upgraded model of the Recon core giving it a slight boost in flare and backend overall compared to the original. I compared the Rush to the Freestyle Tag, and my Carbon. The ball motion of the Rush reminded me of the Carbon ball motion just a few boards softer, the Freestyle ball motion was weaker than that of the Rush and had a rounder shape overall, and the Tag was just stronger and sharper overall. The Freestyle Rush is another bowling ball created by Motiv that does as advertised. I never hesitate to use my Rush whether I am bowling on fresh or broken conditions because I still get the advertised ball motion, although it the Rush is an entry level weaponry the performance you will out of it is an eye opener. It may lack the overall hook potential when compared to its siblings however I can promise you continuation is a family trait. The Freestyle Rush is entry level weaponry suitable for all styles, ball speeds, and rev rates alike. Honestly I'm in a Rush to drill another one of these later on today. You should be to. Your game will thank you for it. K.C. White II Motiv Staff Mongoose Tape Staff WhyBowl Staff

Freestyle- Rush So who doesn't love a lower price point piece that provides everything you should expect from a high performance ball? I know I do! The pearl Freestyle Rush is a boost from the original freestyle line to provide more down lane shape while also adding the additional continuation we have all come to love from the Motiv product line. The Freestyle Rush retains energy in high friction environments while retaining its energy longer for powerful continuation through the pins. This ball is a great compliment to the new Motiv Tank Rampage in that natural progression as the lanes transition to high friction progression. The price point definitely makes this ball attractive as it provides that light oil piece for a price everyone can afford. The added differential provides a greater flare potential which in turn provides a stronger back end reaction usually reserved for higher performance rated pieces. This ball is definitely a piece to have and will definitely fall into your light oil progressions! The Free Style Rush is a must have ball – get yours today! Ball Specs: Motiv Freestyle Rush Agility Low Friction Pearl Reactive 5500 Grit LSP Symmetrical Core Layout 80 x 3-3/8 x 35 Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 5 Over 1/2 Up Rev Rate 250. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed off hand 18 Review: The Freestyle Rush is a great looking ball that pushes up the performance level of the previous Freestyle and Ascent Line. Although The Rush is a new entry in the Light Oil category I was surprised the amount of hook I got as a lower Rev Player. The ball was much stronger and drove through the pins better than expected. Sometimes as bowlers, I think we see weaker cores and lower prices and don't expect great performance. The Rush will change your mind on that theory. The Freestyle Rush uses an upgraded version of the Recon Core. The new core has a higher differential which gives extra flare and a better kick in the back end of the lane. This extra backend is where the changes to the original Freestyle can really be seen in hook and hit. The Freestyle Rush acts and hits like a high priced ball. I have said it before, but it is hard to call these balls entry level reactive. I know a lot of tournament players will be carrying this one in their bag. The Rush fits nicely between my Ascent peal and Tag in total hook. I prefer the factory surface on the Rush but did try it sanded to 2000 and witnessed an earlier read with very little loss of back end. I have been bowling on pretty fresh and oily conditions lately, so I have been playing around the 10 board or outside but I have no doubt that bowlers who hit dryer conditions or those with strong release will be able to get deep and carry well with this ball. Summary: The Freestyle Rush is a very nice entry into the dry lane category. The upgraded core and backend move lets you trust this ball to come back. The Rush has a great color scheme. This is a great ball for any skill level. Video Link: https://youtu.be/994bBqOAOYI Glenn Wendel PBA Member Motiv Staff Ultimate Staff www.motivbowling.com

Layout 70 x 4 x 40 Building off of last year's Freestyle, MOTIV's Freestyle Rush finds another level of performance to keep you competitive when the lanes are all but toast. The all new Agility LFP cover (5500LSP finish) is wrapped around a tweaked Recon core (now at 2.60RG, .030Diff) to provide a slightly beefed up performance level than what we have previously seen. I have noticed that the increased differential, though 'only' .005 more, has helped to create a little more flare motion to my ball. This factor, along with the strengthened coverstock, has allowed me to play larger angles in slightly more oil than my original Blue/Black Freestyle. When compared to my Venom Cobra, I see more length but a similar motion at the spot; controlled yet continuous. This motion gives me a solid compliment to go down to when the heads and mids become too dry for the Venom line. To top this all off, the color scheme looks fantastic in person. The Freestyle Rush is a light oil pearl which has the ability to create good angle and great continuation for a light oil ball. I feel putting your favorite strong drilling on this ball is the way to go. The Agility light friction reactive coverstock with the Recon core allows this ball to retain more energy in those high friction environments but still deliver a stronger response downlane to carry those conner pins. This ball is made for those times where the lanes have lots of friction but you have to throw it away from the head pin to create enough angle and carry. If you bowl in leagues or tournaments with lots of friction this is your ball. This is another great release and fits on MOTIV's ball chart perfectly. Pick up one today! Review: The Freestyle Rush is the newest entry level bowling ball from MOTIV Bowling. The Freestyle Rush has been giving a little diff boost and new cover that will give MOTIV fans more shape that you haven't seen in the freestyle line. The new Agility LFP Reactive Cover along with a little boost of the diff to .030 in the Recon Core gives the Freestyle Rush stronger motion down lane, stronger backend motion and more retainable energy than any other bowling ball in this line. If your looking for the perfect bang for your buck then look no further than the new Freestyle Rush. INNER CORE Recon COVER STOCK Agility LFP Reactive FINISH 5500 Grit LSP Comments: Yet again MOTIV has blown me away with a product. First time I threw the Freestyle rush I was like wow that hooked more than I thought. So I moved and kept moving left and the Freestyle Rush just kept on coming back harder and harder and still throwing pins around like its nothing. This is by far the best bang for your buck on the market. This price range bowling ball should not hook this much and hits just as hard if not harder than any other bowling ball in the MOTIV product line. High rev players will fall in love with this piece because it's something in their bag they have confidence to throw on THS and lighter oil conditions, while medium to lower rev players will love this piece because it will give you the length and backend motion you need without moving out of your comfort zone. I recommend this piece for all types of bowlers MOTIV Staff Player, John Robertson www.motivbowling.com

DESCRIPTION INNER CORE - Recon™ COVERSTOCK - Agility™ LFP Pearl FINISH - 5500 Grit LSP RG RATING - 2.60 (15 lbs) RG DIFFERENTIAL - 0.30 (15 lbs) FLARE POTENTIAL - 2"+ REACTION The Freestyle Rush is a significant improvement over previous entry level Motiv equipment. The core has been tweaked to have a higher RG and diff which gives the Rush more length and bite on the back end compared to it's predecessors. For the first time since I started throwing Motiv equipment, this is the first entry level ball that actually gets down lane. I was expecting the Rush to have a smooth arc type of reaction which is usually the norm with entry level balls. It doesn't. The Freestyle Rush is best suited for medium to longer patterns with lighter oil. VIDEO https://youtu.be/55Oq3GdnEd0 COMPARISONS For the Freestyle Rush, I compared it to the original Freestyle, Graffiti Tag, and the Octane Carbon. The layout is 60 x 4.5" x 75. What I found during filming was the Rush had a motion that was comparable to the Octane Carbon while being about 5 boards weaker. The original Freestyle was weaker with a much rounder shape, while the Tag is a bit stronger and sharper off the spot. I have been successful going from the Octane Carbon to the Freestyle when the lanes transition and force me out of the zone I am playing. I was able to move back to my original line, change to the Rush, and continue striking. SUMMARY In my honest opinion, the Freestyle Rush is not an entry level ball. I have relayed my opinion on the matter to the higher ups at Motiv as well. This ball gets down lane and is fast off the spot. It has the motion of equipment at a much higher price point, it just lacks the overall hook potential which is why we sell the Rush as an entry level ball. When the lanes start to break down, I have zero hesitations when it comes to using the Freestyle Rush. Truth be told, I used it the back half of a tournament last weekend and ended up getting the win. The performance you get for the price is unmatched.
