If there is something that defines this ball is its strong hit to the pins. The motion of this ball allows me to get it very far with a natural strong backend. The Forza SS allows me to play the outside part of the lanes on competitive medium-short patterns and the inside angles on flat mediums while transitioning. If you are looking for a ball that goes way out and way strong, this one will make you very happy on the lanes! Sandro Perrino MOTIV Staff - International

Layout: 55x 4 5/8x20 I wanted to see how quickly I could get this ball to rev up and to see how well it turns the corner. WOW!! I can play inside, outside and right up the track with my ball speed(20.4mph). This ball doesn't disappoint AT ALL. This ball is a great benchmark piece when you want to push the ball through the heads and get it outside. The ball is very predictable and helps me build confidence within my own game. Smooth, continuous and the Sigma core are a deadly combination and a must have in your bag. James Turner MOTIV STAFF. Olympia, WA

Charcoal Solid/Red Core: Sigma Coverstock: Helix HFS Reactive Finish: 3000 Grit LSS RG: 2.47 (for 15# ball) Differential: .047 (for 15# ball) Recommended Lane Condition: Medium to Medium-Heavy Oil Summary: The Forza SS is the 4th installment of the Forza series and the 2nd with a solid cover, the Helix High Friction Solid Reactive makes the Forza SS the strongest and earliest of the four. The concept behind the Forza SS was to develop a ball that will provide versatility and plenty of hook potential and the SS does as advertised, out of box I found the SS to be very early and it let me know if the pattern had enough oil for it to serve its purpose. I've had a lot of success with the Forza series and I love it for the consistency it gives me and the Sigma core is one of my all-time favorite cores. In its natural state the SS is early and commands oil because of the amount of teeth the cover possesses, the roll is continuously heavy which I found ideal for when I encountered over/under conditions as the SS would roll right through it. In terms of hook I got more than what I bargained for as the original Forza never left me wanting for hook but the Forza SS gives me so much more, I love the SS at box. The original Forza was controllable and early which made it ideal for medium heavy patterns, The Forza Redline provided a faster response time upon encountering friction as well as providing a more angular ball motion, The Forza GT provided a controlled ball motion, and the Forza SS is the strongest ball in the Forza series In comparing the Forza SS to my Ghost the Ghost is stronger overall, although the shape is similar to the SS the Ghost is earlier than the SS. It also possesses more overall hook and can handle more oil than the SS. In comparing the Forza SS to my Venom Shock I found the Shock to be cleaner than the SS overall and has a faster response time to friction than that of the SS, overall the Shock is smaller than the SS. If you've got a love jones for the Forza series much like myself I encourage you give the Forza SS a moment of your time. Your game will thank you for it. K.C. Ball Specs Forza SS Core Sigma Coverstock Helix HFS Reactive Bowler Stats PAP 4 1/4 over 1 1/4 up Speed 18mph Rev rate 525 Review The Forza SS is the latest ball in the forza line. For this ball Motiv brought back the sigma core and paired it with the Helix cover. For those who threw the original Forza this ball will be a great compliment. For me this ball is cleaner and more off the spot down lane then the original. It will be great for medium patterns and most typical house shots. It gives the great midlane roll that the forza line is famous for with just a little more down lane shape. Anyone who is looking for a bench mark ball should highly consider the Forza SS Kris Rogers Motiv Regional Staff Member PBA Regional Champion Genesis Pro Staff

Layout: 65 x 5 x 35 Versatility, predictability, and reliability all define the Motiv Forza SS for me. The new Helix HFS reactive coverstock (finished at 3000LSS) was developed to be wrapped around the successful Sigma core (2.47RG, .047Diff). The Sigma has been my favorite core bar none and I have been excited to see it back in action. The total strength of this ball has allowed me to easily play on fresh house shots without being too early or energy-deprived at the pocket. The HFS/Sigma combination reads the midlane ridiculously well while still retaining energy to continue through the pin deck. Once the shot starts to break down I have been able to move left quite a bit without sacrificing much hitting power; the houses I bowl in have a fair amount of volume so a typical three game block has not necessitated me crossing left of 20 yet. So far the only factors that this ball has not excelled at is on burned up, or lightly applied, oil and large launch angles through the heads; this is not a detractor as this ball is meant to eat through the heavier to medium conditions with the Tag Cannon or Freestyle Rush being able to fill the later-in-the-day role. The Forza SS gives me a good benchmark ball to test patterns and start the day out reading the lane properly. Trent Overbey In the Zone Pro Shop MOTIV Staff www.motivbowling.com

I tested my Forza SS along with one of my Venom Shocks, mainly for both having solid coverstocks. Not having thrown any of the previous MOTIV balls with the Sigma Core before, I was quite excited to get this ball in my hands and on the lanes. I immediately noticed how much heavier the Sigma SS rolled in the middle part of the lane. Not only did it start make the turn a little earlier than expected, the signature continuous motion was more than I anticipated. Granted the layout I opted for my Sigma SS is quite stronger, this ball definitely gives me an option if I need to get a little further left. The Sigma SS for me gives me the roll I need like most solids up front, but shapes like a pearl on the backend. The Sigma Core is back with some mean intentions. This core and cover combination is unbelievable, especially for those medium and heavy volume patterns, also for medium to long distance patterns as well. I instantly fell in love with mine. Shined up or with surface, the Sigma SS performs and doesn't lose any bit of energy.
