With a cleaner core and cover combination, this ball allows me to throw it on a variety of shots, from short patterns to low volume house shots. Being a bit later with a little more downlane motion, I find that it gives me a little more room for error than the Rampage on harder shots as I tend to miss outside. It also creates a different entry angle to the pocket compared to the Rampage. Anytime I need to be throwing urethane, between this and the Rampage I have a great one-two punch. Layout: 110x3 1/4x55 Using speed and accuracy, I decided to try a ball that gives me continuation without sacrificing a ball that wouldn't hit the pocket with power. the Alchemy Hybrid cover gives me the overall length that I wanted and with a layout that takes the majority of the lane to rev up, this Recon weight block hits like a MAC truck!! This core/hybrid cover gives me the length I need and it has an aggressive flip on the back end. I can play on heavy oil and fire it up 2nd arrow or I can play inside on a fresh house shot with this beast. Absolutely love this ball and recommend this because it's a urethane with length and a weight block that hits with continuation as it hits the pocket.
