I put this ball on the inactive list at the beginning of the season after I purchased some new equipment, and I'm wondering why I ever did that. One evening I felt the need to resurface the ball and do my voodoo and see if I could bring the hook back. See it seemed to me that it had lost about 20% of its overall hook. Well I went 220 grit wet sand to 320, to 400, 600, 800, 1000. Then took it to the local bowling center and put it in the ball polisher for five minutes. It shined up like a new penny. But that wasn't all. I used it for a game and still wasn't impressed yet. So I did my heat treatment process. 225 dig, for 8 minutes, pull it out wipe off the oil with reactive ball cleaner, and back in for another 6 minn, wipe it off then for 4 minn. By then the oil is usually all out of the ball. I've learned not to go ANY higher the 225. I realized this after doing some research that most companies do not recommend heating the ball because most people are ignorant and put the ball in at

I keep this ball in one of my lockers because I'll need when I don't have it. It doesn't get much use because it needs heavy oil everywhere to do its magic. Ball speed is a must and in the hands of a cranker this ball performs best. Most strokers will have a hard time keeping this ball from checking up or rolling out early. Tweeners can open up the lane when oil is present as long as you don't send it to the dry too early. Crankers will like the grip and carry and everyone will enjoy the sound at impact.

Ok, I have tried this ball at 3 different centers and have to say on a synthetic surface this ball is weak. No matter the angle of attack the ball just doesn't have it on a synthetic surface. Though this is not unusual, I am constantly finding that Particle based equiptment doesn't match up well on Synthetic Surfaces. This ball didn't do anything to change my mind. However that being said, on a wood lane with some carrydown this ball could be a bowlers best friend. On a fresh shot it was far to much ball for me personally but as the lanes carried down and the shot settled through the course of a few games I was able to setup some area and the ball responded brilliantly. A complete 180 of a ball on a wooden surface than on synthetics. In case you are wondering the 2 synthetic houses had 2 different versions of HPL lanebeds. Perhaps it would be a different story on say Anvilane, ArmorPlate or Lane Shield??

Ball was drilled with a pin up and mass bias in a sharp break point. For a partical ball get great lenght, makes a sharp turn and sets into a roll quick. (Just had ball pluged and redrilled over summer. Need to have ball to handle much heavyer oil and heavy carrydown for torunaments. Drilled this time 5x2 1/2 a instant rev drill. Ball worked good for a while now just a dud. Have found ball needs dry to react, weather it's on the out side or backend. Other wise for me ball just wants to skid. Have rencently used on a varity of shots and use many surface prep. In all a Tsa is a better choise and better ball for oil.

Well I must say I didn't think it was possible to have bowling ball that hooks like crazy on a sport patterns and PBA patterns. Specs: ring finger is above the pin and the mass bias is out about 2 1/2 inches This ball is amazing on any condition on the league shot you don't even have to find a mark just throw it right and it comes back, but the ball is not for that I use this on real oil like PBA reginal pattern D it worked great had enough strength get back if I sent it out to far and no snap on the backend so I could control it once it was out of the oil and when the lanes broke down all I did was move left accordingly. This ball is very similar to Trifecta for you Storm fans out there but it hits much harder so hard you can hear the diiference actually all in all I like this ball it is great go to ball when you are on tournement conditions with heavy oil. A FRIEND OF MINES TRIFECTA DIED MY WMB STILL HOOKS! HA HA!! STORM JUNKIES<scrip

When I first got ball tried a tight line and could not hold it on target. Started to let it out more and the comeback is great. Don't hold back on your swing and follow. First heard of MoRich from a fellow bowler that bowled two 300 games in a row then a 258, using a Morich (Shock & Awe). I liked the initial write up by MoRich and read reviews. I was well aware that the ball would need attention but liked name and color . Bought a couple bottles of cleaner and let it set for about 5 mins before using a old white sock for clean up. It is my strike ball and use it for spares on left side but cannot constantly control it on right side spares. I like it and recommend it but I am a one alley bowler and very seldom try it on other then wood lanes.

This was my first MoRich ball, and I'm glad I decided to start throwing Mo's balls. The weapon is the best particle ball i've thrown so far because it hits so great. That core leaves the pins scattering all over the place. As far as oil goes, I use it for strictly soaked shots because it will lose energy quick down the lane on drier conditions. With an heavily oiled shot the ball hooks enough to get to the pocket , and as long as I'm in the pocket area the percentage of me getting a stike is pretty darn high. If you don't already have a particle ball in your bag then this is the one to get.<sc

Best used on the inside line when your buddies are going outside deep, down and in is how I roled a 300 on a hard shot, however you MUST use a partical ball cleaner (or a alcohol based cleaner) AFTER every use, and once a month wash the ball with www.morichbowling.com washing advice. I have had the ball for over a year now and it still hooks better then ever. When I bowled a 300 march 2005 with it I had over 100 games on it at the time so the ball does last longer then what people are saying. YOU JUST HAVE TO CLEAN EVERY BALL EVERY TIME to have the proformance last.

The ball left me with alot of 9 pins. You hit High flush as a lefty I left a 6 pin.Hit light in the pocket leave 9 pin. Hit dead flush pocket 7 pin.My first game it took me alittle bit to find the right line.Once I found the right line I could not miss. The last two games I hit the pocket everytime. And only shot 214 225.I could not string more than 3 strikes. But Like I said if you get lined up and hit your mark you cannot miss the pocket. The ball goes were you put it.I don't know how to list the drilling on this ball. All I know is I told my pro shop guy to drill it to hook as much as the ball can be drilled. It still isn't a ball that you can use in alot of oil.But that don't matter as long as you line up right.

This ball requires patience and time to keep it clean this of course if you want to look good in the game otherwise just please keep it in case a pin is left and the spare ball is required. I am sorry for saying this because I ordered the ball and have it imported to Mexico because I thought was a good ball but I am thinking now on getting another one because of the time that it requires to keep it functional. When the ball is clean you can average above 200, in my case I have noticed that cleaining it every shot keeps it working more time this may be unconfortable for some players but it helps me to visualize my next shot and have a better game.

Finished the season last year 2 leagues using the WMB Mens 5 man league 213 mixed league 220..... YES the surface of the ball did lose some hooking power.. there is no question the cover stock lost some of its bite before the end of the season. Now to this year.. I am sure some of you remember when to bowl good you had to MOVE or ADJUST to the lane .. not just reach in the bag and grab another ball.. I started my mens league last night and mad a big move to the right, ran the ball up the 2nd arrow all night long NEVER moved a board. 256 265 263 first night out... I guess this is just to say... if you wanna cry or whine or whatever cuz the ball changed a little bit get a grip.. this ball still hit amazinglly well.. carried great with just a line change.. too many people are used to switching balls and blaming the lanes if they cant score.. you idiots need to grab a white dot and try to bowl with that. we did and we scored well....... I will cont

I tried to be nice and just post my opinion on here about my experience with my three WMBs and what happens, some guy comes on here and attacks me because I do well with that ball. So, because you can't bowl well with the ball, means that everyone else will do the same. Funny, I've read the other posts on here, and ballreviews.com and overall there is a favorable rating with this ball. Again, just like every ball there are good reviews and bad ones. I guess if everyone only took the advice of the bad reviews, we would all be using a house ball. As far as me winning money and it's not bowling season, I guess that I can't win money in the summer league that I bowled on, not to mention what I did this past fall season?????? I happen to bowl on a pretty good summer league, so yes I did win some decent money. As far as the ball getting stronger, through practice, which is something that you probably don't do, I have learned what the ball can and can't do. I have also learned what I

Don't make me laugh.........your entire post was to totally contradict everything I said...........it's SOOOO FRIGGIN OBVIOUS...........you are seriously insulting not only my intelligence but the other readers of this forum......JUST GO AWAY...........Anyone who reads your made up review can tell that what you say is scripted and BS..........you say winning major bux and it isn't even bowling season........give me a break! You say the ball get's stronger??? ROTFLMAO ....yeah ok.....you say they are a great company and it's the only company you will buy from......you're an idiot! Seems like you know more about my story than I have posted here...........wonder how that is ??? Secondly did they happen to tell you that I did VERY NICELY send them emails and very politely expressed my unhappiness with their product.........all they did was send me to a pro shop to try and make me look stupid ! Their so called MoRich Authorized Dealers suggested that a ball will never react the same as i

I had read Mr. Powerplay's attack on me because I happened to like this ball. First off, I have nothing to do with the MoRich Company except for the fact that I use their equipment. The fact that Throw and I are both from Livonia means nothing. There are roughly 100,000 people living in this city, and it is safe to say that I do know many people who live here who also happen to bowl. You know, I have another friend who likes the Pistons, and I do too. We both go to the Palace to see them play; I wonder if that also means something (insert eye roll here.) As far as going to the shop in Livonia, since they are an authorized dealer of the MoRich products, and I like using MoRich equipment, wouldn't it make sense that I would go to that shop? Should I go to a shop that isn't a MoRich authorized dealer, or do I look outside of Livonia for an authorized one? You might have noticed that the gas prices are high, so I think I will go to the one in Livonia. Oh yeah, I've been dealing wi

Don't be fooled by reviews from DAMAGE INC. and THROWBALLUGH.....seems they are one in the same or at least friends.........they obviously have an in with MoRich and I wouldn't be suprised if they are authorized MoRich dealers or in some way connected.........they are FULL OF IT! Further proof of this......they are both from Livonia...(which is where Mo has an authorized dealer, in fact the pro shop they sent me to in Warren had another location in guess where? ..YEP LIVONIA....AMAZING isn't it ?? ).....throwballugh has Damage Inc. as his only respected reviewer......it's OBVIOUS. I told the "MoRich technical staff if they didn't resolve the problem I would let everyone know about it......they didn't and I did. It's obvious they are trying to counter act my efforts to let people know about the crap they are putting on the pro shop shelves. This ball is total crap and I'm not the only one posting it. See Colosus621's review as well as others saying the same exact thing..... DO NOT BUY

I have three of these balls, one for oily, one for medium and one for dry. I have had them since they first came out, and they get stronger and stronger as I use them. This is one of the best balls Mo has come out with. I have had my highest games and series with these three balls. I make sure to clean them after each time I use them, and replace the finger grips when needed. I can't wait for this season to start. This should be my best season yet ! I've been thowing MoRich since the Colossus came out, and I haven't bought a ball from another company since. Just an amazing company!<scr

that after only 30 games the ball began to die and stop hooking. the more i threw it the more the hook started to die. it is also a very high mantance ball if didnt clean it after every set than the oil just sank deeper into the ball. so now i traded it to my dad for his original hammer 3D off-set and even he cant get the ball to hook and he throws with very little speed. in closeing this ball is not worth the money when is only lasts for about 30 games. will soon be buying be buying a new ball or two before season and will review after a while.

I have had used two of these almost exclusively since their introduction in November. First off, a big THANK YOU to the MoRich customer service/tech people Fred & Shari for pointing me in the correct direction to find the pro shop to get these balls done right! Kudos to king of the mill (his nick here and at BR) here in MI for drilling these up just to my liking. Both use the same gray scotch brite pad surface. The porosity in this balls cover stock with pick up every bit of dirt and oil it comes into contact with, so I recommend a fairly strict cleaning regime. Ball 1 is a "6" pin to axis just below my fingers with the psa 3" from axis. It is target weighted to help enhance the midlane roll and get it moving harder through the backends", per KOTM... & he is right on the money. Not the biggest hooker in the bunch, but this one is intended for more medium conditions where carry, not board coverage, is wanted. Small flare to start that opens up on the backend (a functi

If you have heavy oil, don't be afraid to throw this ball. But if your conditions dry out, or don't see heavy oil try the Shock and Awe. Same core, less cover. In our house we have pretty heavy oil and its well distributed from gutter to gutter. Depending on the day, I can use this ball off the 5 board (first arrow) or go inside about to 8 or so. Lane conditions at our house (we don't have very good back ends either), with my stroker style, do not really allow me to move further inside with this ball. But that's my problem. Typical house shot and cranker style should have no problem getting this ball to dance provided you can move inside to find enough oil. I've probably got about 100 - 150+ games on it and have keep it dull and clean religiously. It still hits like a Mack Truck. This is a great ball and like most of today's equipment is pretty condition specific. When you see it moving a bit sluggishly into the pins, put it in the bag and wait for a real flood. Of course a

I'm glad to see all these great reviews on the ball now that you have it...........come talk to me after about 50 games..........let's see how much you "LOVE" Morich and the Weapon of Mass Garbage............I'm dead serious guys this ball is absolute GARBAGE...........it's GREAT when you first buy it don't get me wrong..........but it will end up disappointing you in the long run. I'm not here trying to start fights..........I spend ALOT OF MONEY on bowling equiptment and I wish someone like me would have warned me about this..............the ball WILL DIE..........you will lose the amazing hooking power and hard hitting power SOONER than LATER........I just want to give you guys a fair warning............BUY LANE #1 or hell anything but MO.........MOGARBAGE............plus they are total jerks..........I must mention that they WILL NOT RESPOND TO ME..........you think a company like that would want to stick behind their products............and give me my money back..........hell what

MO is for ME
Im a huge fan of MoRich equipment, in fact after i bought this ball and used it for about 2 weeks i decided i needed to go out and buy its counterpart the total annihilation to compliment the WMB in my arsenal. This ball truly is the corked bat of bowling balls. the new vanguard core just kills pins and after about 4 months of using this ball (i bought it the day after it came out) i fell in love....usually i play about 16 and push the ball out to about the 8 board on a THS and this ball just comes back with a vengeance and KILLS pins. the only problem i have with it is when i put a little extra muscle on the ball i leave 8 pins but theyre much better than 10 pins....this ball makes 10 pins obsolete

I wrote a review on this ball when I first bought it. It was an animal for the first 15 games...maybe 15.........then it died out. The ball wouldn't come back anywhere near as much as it used to. Before you go nuts, I religously cleaned this ball with particle ball cleaner after every three games. Furthermore, I contact MoRich about this. Their suggestion was to see the local MoRich Certified Pro Shop.....so I did. He had me drag my equiptment down to the lanes and throw the ball for him. I did this for about 3 games on one lane. His answer......."balls NEVER react the same as they do after the first 9 games".........that's BS! The guy was nice and he cleaned the ball up on a spinner, gave it a Burgandy Scotch Brite and told me to try it out again. Well at this point the lane started to dry out and of course the ball (fresh off the spinner and sand job) hooked significantly more than it was doing. I was actually convinced that this ball would need the scotch brite and cleaning more

I read many reviews about the WMB, and decided to get one. I had a little trouble out of the box, but that was mostly getting the proper fit. I switched to thumb slugs this time and had never bowled with them before so that was the majority of the problems. After a few games of practice and the more oil the WMB soaked up, it became a monster. I have thrown much more consistently in my house, which is notorius for inconsistent scores... I have thrown 3 600+ series in my last three league nights. Also, last Thursday my strike jackpot ticket was called in the 3rd frame of my first game... 600 bucks, dead in the pocket! I also won high series... so this ball has already paid for itself and then some. Thanks MORICH you are the best! I am awaiting my Shoch and Awe =o)

This ball is the first ball out of my bag, followed by my Labrynyth, then Demolition Zone. Seems when my WMB is not carrying my Lab will and vice versa. Have won High series side pot twice with this ball and missed last week by 4 pins. Needed a strike in tenth left that damn nine pin. I had never won series before this ball. Had won plenty of games but never series. I have only been using this ball for eight weeks now and my average has jumped 3 pins. Almost back up to last years avg. Should make it by seasons end. Would recommend this ball to anyone who has an intermediate skill level. 190+
