The Killer
Drilled stack with an inch and a half kick out, top weight 3 oz pin 2-3. This ball is just scary. It's so predictable and gives you the cleanest read on the lanes, hooks like nothing else and the explosion of the hit and pins flying is spinetingling. You throw this ball and almost immediately you know if you're going to strike or not. Almost never will you get a bad break from this ball as in leaving a split, but don't expect to strike on mishits. When you throw Mo, you throw pure gold. This is my third review on this ball and 2nd colossus and i will gladly say, Mo is gold. Period!

On heavy oil i stand at 20 and shoot 3 board. Medium oil i still shoot 3 but i stand on 25.And on light i shoot 3 standin35. this ball hooks out of the alley. I would only recomend tis ball for the more experienced bowler. It takes alot to control this ball when its dull though it loses 2 much hook if its polished. But i do have ALOT of revs on my ball.I would not use this ball if there is no less than medium oil. Also i drilled the ball for max hook.I think this ball is better for synthetic lanes, easier to control

first 20 games hooks so much it seems uncontrolable then something happend on the 21st game it was then controlable! then by the 30th game the ball couldnt handle carrydown anymore! so i resurfaced it in hopes it would come back alive but instead it gave it an over under reaction. tsk tsk tsk......... i really thought this ball could be the counter part of my colossus but i guess not . maybe I'll go try the onslaught or the mayhem I hear those balls are good for heavy oil t t t tt t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t

our house floods the shot on the weekend, and i bowl in a sunday night league that gets fresh oil before we bowl each week.this ball treds oil like it isnt there.i placed this ball as deep as i can play with my minimal hand and it still opened up the lane even on this noahs ark my house threw down. the minute it clears the heads its goin left ,hard!!!i finally found a ball that can turn in carrydown.when mo says you cant throw this one through the breakpoint he means it.great ball morich keep them coming, ill buy again.

This ball is great. It took my average from about 195 to around a steady 215. i would recommend this ball to anyone that has full knowedge of bowling because the hook is not for the faint of heart. If you try to throw this ball on dry lanes watch out because your in for a surprise. Once that oil starts to break down its time to put the ball away because its just to powerful for dry lanes. I have been bowling since i was 4 and now i'm 18. This is by far one of the best balls i've ever thrown. I just recently started my summer league and I finished with 687 series (206, 236, 245)and a 229 average to start. I've had this ball for almost 2 years now and i would not give this ball up for anything.

Great ball I am glad i got into this ball and wont get rid of it With the altered cover (polished) i get good carry pocket or not flush or not. It hits hard and turns well. The length tends to dwindle when the lanes become super dry. I bowl on a traveling league and see all kinds of shots and so far this ball has handled soup/dry medium to light. Synthetic and wood. Good recommendation for someone who wants a ball to roll well and hit hard. DUll it can be a handfull. I was recommended a decent agressive drill with a polished cover. I tend to rev up a ball once in awhile and this ball likes it

With all the other balls out there, This would not be my first choice. There are other balls out there you can get for heavy oil that would have more hitting power, but the off hit carry was a definate plus. For high rev players, this is not the ball for you. It has a tendency to loose its power in the back end. But, for more stright line players, this is a very good choice for you. The Herc is a more versatile ball, same type weight block., more versatile cover stock, if you are thinking of going with a Morich bowling ball.

Best ball I have ever thrown. I was having problems so I purchased this ball. Result? Problem solved. Threw a 676 first night with it finishing with a 279 (Eight-pin in the sixth). Two days later 247, 300 (first), 224 for a career high 771. I expected results but not this fast. This is a definite option for oily lanes that just don't seem to finish. I started the year averaging 219 in two leagues and dropped to around 205 because my Ti Messenger wouldn't finish anymore (bought this ball to start the season). The Colossus Supreme is the most amazing ball that I have ever come across!<s

As Promised I am back to finish up my review!! This ball is AWSOME! My first game has gone up at least 20 pins! When I get right under the ball and power threw it.... WOW! This thing hits the pins like a freight train! I LOVE IT! Other people are right when they say it is only good for one game.... after that just put it away. No matter how hard I throw it or move it just come to hard them last 2 feet. So I am going to tell what others say, "After one game just put away" and that is the truth.

If anyone out there is looking for something to get through the oil this is the ball for you. On fresh lanes this ball is great. Being left handed in most cases I can keep using the ball longer than a right-handed bowler may due to lack of play on the left side. The one thing you will have to learn when using this ball is when to put it away, I know sometimes it is hard to put a ball away after you been scoring well early. I would recommend this ball to almost anyone because most of us who bowl tournaments have ran across lanes where your ball just won't move towards the pocket.

You gotta have alot of oil out there. This ball bites and it bites hard as soon as it hits the dry. The arc is just beatiful and at 17.5 mph, it still hooks like a dream. I started at board 15 and swung it out to 5 and it when it hit dry backends, KA-BOOM. The shear hitting power of this thing is incredible. Each game it left an 8 or 9 pin up just from plowing right through the rack. If you have high ball speed and medium rev this thing rocks. when the lane dries up, throw it in the bag because you will go from gutter to gutter in a second. Mo Pinel is still a genius. Just sold it off to a friend and am sorry I did so. I finished out with this ball averaging 215+ and have not found anything that can match it's sheer power in hook or hit. Now that I have a lot more experience in bowling and knowledge of equipment, I can truly appreciate how great this ball really is.

The Colossus Supreme is most certainly without a doubt one of the most powerful balls ever manufactured. I set mine up 3x3/8 x 3x3/8 and ended up with 3/8 positive side weight, 2 oz top weight, and a touch of finger weight. Gross weight after drilling is 14 LBS. This layout has proven suitable on a range of lane conditions varying from most typical league patterns, to longer heavier patterns used in more progressive associations and tournaments. As long as there is enough oil to allow this ball to rev up it will deliver a hit that is out of this world, just crushes the deck. Playing up the boards with a good amount of speed, moving inside and swinging, not a problem on either line. When the heads dry up this ball will let you know it’s time for the bag, but use it on the environment it was designed for and prepare to be impressed. Over all this is just a really sweet ball. I was upset at the fact Morich lost it’s PBA certification, I bowled in the first stop of the s

I rolled my first 700 series with this ball a 720 to be exact, I shot a 257, 257, and a 206. The weird thing is that the ball doesnt even belong to me but it belongs to the guy that owns our local pro shop. I have worked out an agreement with him were I am going to buy the ball from him. Our summer leagues are coming up and I certainly could use a ball that can do that. I need to keep my average up because this is a hard league where there are 10 of us that average over 195.

Its a great hook ball for heavy oil lanes, will hit the pocket hard and makes great sound. Brought up my average dramtically and friends are amazed at how much hook it picks up. Bowlers looking for a better hook will appreciate this ball but after about 3-4 games i will eat up the oil fast and curve too much heading for the 7 pin alot no matter where you adjust your start position. Had to switch bowling balls to my Brunwick Control Zone cause the lane was too dry. Difficult to pick up the 10 pin too. Overall, it will hook no matter what kind of throw no question about it!

This ball is amazing. I normally throw an Ebonite predator and it just doesn't compare to this. I threw the ball effortlessly at 17 MPH out along the 4 board and it slammed right back into the pocket like the Tokyo Bullet Train. You would think that being such a high friction ball it would snap and only be good in the heaviest oil, but that is not the case. This ball has a great transition roll and such a clean arcing hook, as well as amazing versatility. If you have good ball speed and medium rev rate this thing will kill the rack everytime. MO IS A GENIUS!!

I had my ball drilled to start almost as soon as it left my hand ,and after throwing it a few times, I had it polished up a bit. With my speed of 16-17mph this setup allows it to push through the front end and retain enough energy to make it's strong arc to the pocket. In a compition setting I will only throw this ball with heavy oil (what it was designed for), and then it's back in the bag for a different ball. Using this ball in Med-Dry in practice has made me a better bowler with the rest of my equipment due to the fact that it is very difficult to controll in these situations. If you want to play deeper than you ever have and need a ball that will retain energy, even when it is turning, than this is the ball for you.

The reason people have ajumpy ball or one that is difficult to get to the pocket is one simply and honest reason. YOu are throwing this ball on to light of a oil pattern. This ball requires oil, and lots of it. I cannot throw this ball but on a heavy heavy oil pattern. With out oil this ball will be jumpy early rolling, and difficult to get in the pocket, and if you could it would hit like a marshmellow cause it has burned up all its engery. My suggestion is to contact Freddie Carroll at Morich enterprises, he is the man to talk to. Heavy oil is required otherwise put it back in the bag. For the rest of you this ball hits with all the power of a Freightliner. This ball will desimate the rack, it is a excellent ball when used on the conditions that it was designed for and that is HEAVY OIL.....

The problem with some ball manufacturers today is they are just trying to sell and are not concerned with the most important aspect of a bowling ball which is CONTROL. This is a ball with a asymetrical weight block and a heavy particle cover. When you combine the imbalance of that type of weight block and a heavy particle cover, you get a ball that graps the lane too hard. To much friction, to much weight block make colosus a very very conditional ball. Only certain players (very few) with high ball speeds and big hands will be able to control this ball. Tell Mo this was his last chance to keep me as a customer. I have purchased two of his balls now and both are now resting in my garage waiting for my annual summer clean out sale!<scr

i don't know if i can play any deeper (16 out to 5) still going to the nose anybody got any suggestions.Great ball for heavy oil (ie. tournaments) if i could get about 3 more feet of length would be the ball to go to you get a nice smooth roll off hand but when it hits it break point watch out if you get it in the pocket it will hit and hit hard I send more messengers than ever before I don't know if GOD could throw this ball. again if anybody has any suggestions email me

I bowled a scratch tourney on very tough conditions (LOTS OF OIL) and I felt it should have probably been sanded. (Not the balls fault though). I don't like it as much as the originial colossus but it is growing on me. If you want hook, this is the ball for you. The only problem it can be a little tough to control, but I'm not a pro bowler, so it might just be me... I also thought the price was a little steep compared to balls like the Monster and Freak Out, but I stuck with Mo Rich since I like the first ball I bought from them.

If it's fresh oil, this ball will be perfect, really strong, a lot of hook, sharp brake point angle. This ball will last a long time because u won't be able to use it a lot. Once the shot gets a bit dry this ball will be uncontrollable. Really wild, compared to bowling balls like V2 Pearl, really steady compared to Adrenaline. Leaves a lot of 9 and 10 pins, cost a bit too much. Well I do suggest u to get this ball only if u have another strike ball, cause most of the time this ball will be in your bag. But who cares, if you use it on fresh oil, won't be hard to average 230+ on normal house shots. "that is if your a good bowler"

I mostly got this one because I have been very impressed with my previous Morich purchases. As it turns out, I think ANYBODY can benefit from using this monster. I have mine drilled pin at 3-3/8, above the fingers for a little bit of length, RC about 1" left of thumbhole. This ball wants to hook. A lot. Even more than little brother. The ball gives good enough length through the arrows, then it starts arcing (key word) for the rest of its trip down the lane. No jerky motion, just a smooth, even, hard-hitting arc. I even get a couple boards of mistake room. I can usually miss a board or two left and have it hold to the pocket, and if I do let it out an extra board or two, it comes back and still hits incredibly hard. Of course, when things start to dry up, it's time to move both feet and target left. (For those who don't know, thats how you keep it from rolling out and hitting like a sponge.) As long as theres enough oil and no one is burning out my line, I can use the Supreme all night

Many of my customers are having difficulty defining the word "hook". And if you want "hook" this is it! At least 15 boards more than the black Colussus. One of my friends is/has been a 220 plus average. Throws the ball with 20mph ball speed, and cannot keep this ball in the pocket. If you do not have a 210 physical game (you know who you are) than do NOT buy this ball. Very, Very hard moving at the breakpoint. If you do decide to invest, than this ball MUST be the most agressive ball in your bag. Which means it won't come out very often. A great design by MO, but a bit to agressive for the average customer.

this ball is awesome, i can't say it'll be as great as the black solid colussus cuz i just got it, but what a ball. for a dull ball to roll and hook a lot w/o ever rolling out is amazing. and if you can't make this ball hit, theres a problem. the only way you won't carry the ten (well if yer righty) is if the messenger flies over the top of it. these are the best hitting balls that i have ever thrown. i have several buzzsaws and thought those hit great, guess what the morich stuff hits much harder than the buzzsaws. if you want a predictable ball this is your ticket. they roll from the time they leave yer hand til the time they come back to rest in the ball rack. but they never roll out. and the supreme comes pretty dull outta the box, and it still will not roll out. i used to just have to choose b/t two buzzsaws and a morich, that was an easy choice. now i have to choose b/t two morich and two saws...well maybe just two morcih

Being in the pro shop business and having done testing for Mo on the Labyrinth and Minotaur I can honestly say this is his best ball yet. I had just drilled a Track Freak (4 x VAL) and an Ebonite Aggression (4 x 3 1/2) and wanted a diferent look on the Supreme. Went out on the lanes before they were dressed. Moved 5 and 3 left from my normal shot in this house, Ball read midlane well even though it was dry. Did not overreact. Went back out after lanes were dressed. Moved back to right and played up 10. Still had excellent reaction and carry. For the record, I am a converted full roller after 40 years. My PAP is 5 1/2 x 1 1/4 with 90 degrees axis rotaion and ball speed is 18 mph average.
