Radical new core design for more overall hook. All the hook you'll ever need • Great pin carry (hits so hard you can hear the difference) • Reacts to lane friction immediately and accurately • Makes lane conditions easy to read • Versatile COLOSSUS has a radical new core design which produces more overall hook. It's a ball that revs up sooner while maintaining axis rotation, allowing the ball to continue through the pins. And they said it couldn't be done! The GriPpeR EF coverstock's easy adjustability makes it simple to control the amount of hook that you desire. It reacts to lane friction immediately and accurately. Each Colossus is precision spun on a "free spin" ball spinner to ensure the mass bias is accurately located.

i loved this ball as it was delivering me loads of high scores until one day it got stuck in the lanes ball return machine and it got chewed up! i was only given £50 compensation and then invested some of my own money to get a backyard bully to replace this but this ball will not be forgotten! It hits hard it has a lovely arc wich drives towards the pins on the backend generating gr8 pin action this ball is a winner. However times have moved on and if you want a ball the best way to go is lane masters as they really do make the best balls around! You've been warned!

the versatility of this ball it work well sanded but it worked even better polished. got this ball used from one of the guys who works in the pro shop where i bowl at. he said that he shot a 300 with but my best game with it was only a 256 but hey i was kinda close to a 300. this is my favorite ball of all time but it has since been replaced. i still have this and i still throw it from time to time whether in league or just in practice. in my opinion the best ball made by morich second only to the weapon of mass bias. but my weapon of mass bias has since died on lane oil. so now the colossus is the best morich ball followed closely by the onslaught

well I've had this ball for about a year now and its a great ball! I've tried it at a 400 grit sanded and it treats out of bounds conditions like there is no out of bounds. When the ball was polished i tried it on a 33 feet condition. my pro shop owner thought i was crazy to throw it on that condition. so i tried it and and the ball snapped hard.It would be hard to that i shot a 299 with this ball on a 33 ft condition. its just that darn 8 pin that screwed me. this ball works for any style. I'm a cranker so i rev it up. but my friend who is a stroker used this ball and it is good ball for him. well if you can find used or new just get it!<scr

After 150plus games this ball still has all the hit, carry, and control like it did when it was New. This ball is driled 4x4, and I have used it on both wood, and synthetics. I must say that it handles medium oil with carry down well, but not heavy oil with carry down. On a heavy oil flat pattern the colossus starts a nice midlane arc and continues on to the pocket with force, and even on bad shots by me, this ball still doesn't leave many splits. It hits very hard, and is a excellent ball. Very impressed with this ball, and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a good medium-heavy oil ball.

This ball gave me a 1333 set for 6 games today, in pretty deep oil. It out hooked my V2 Particle and my Rock On! I had about 20+ revs on the ball today and it just creeped up in the midlane and made a U-turn on the dry backend. Exactly what I've been wanting out of this ball. Now, to buy more green scotch brite! This ball does tend to crack, which I have one around my ring finger, but, eh, it happens. This is my 'new' old ball, first one out of the bag again. :D :D :D :D :D Yay for small company ball working again! I did manage to lose in this elimination tournament today with it though. I shot 236, to this kid's 300.... Stupid X-factor..... That's the 3rd! 300 game bowled against me with that ball! <roar>

Good idea, bad stamina. The Colossus starts out strong but after thirty games it needs some bowling viagra to bring it back to being able to play with it. I am having the ball resurfaced and hope that will kick start its engine. Its great if a ball hits like a truck but after a few weeks when it hits like a marshmellow there are some problems somewhere. This was my first MoRich product and I am confident it will probably be my last. I was Hammer Man ever since the first black hammer and I hate ebonite so I decided to give MoRich a chance, all I can say now is...NEXT

For me, this ball works much better when sanded. All of you who like mild mid lane hook, and medium to strong backend, get this and dull it down to nothing. The pric isn't out of this world, which is always good. I've had this ball for about 9 months now and still continues to do its job. The problem is when this ball is played on a flooded shot, the inside becomes flooded. You need to rejuvenate it very often for it do it's job on a consistent basis. Other than that, It's my favorite ball.<scri

I have to say, I'm disappointed in spending $200+ for this ball and have it crap out. This ball needs to be cleaned after use, and it still only worked good for about a month for me. I'm definitely looking to get this one re-done. prehaps sanded done to 500 grit, to maybe have some chance of movement on oiled lanes..... Bottom line, this ball will work if you can get a drilling suitable for you. It doesn't like to carry the corners and uses a lot of energy in the middle lane. And is a sponge when it comes to oil. Get ready for this one to die.

I wrote a bad review on this ball and yes at the time it did not move at all and i do not regret what i posted but as I said I would not give up on this ball and I didnt and with a little more sanding down the ball moves like a dream I have went from a mid 500 shooter to a mid 600 shooter and I know its only gonna get better now I am bowling like I am used to I would not get rid of this ball for any reason in fact I have not even used my zone in the last 3 weeks even when i leave the 7 pin being left handed i just adjust and still pick it up this ball is awesome

just in response to the last review, i have no idea how you can't get this ball to hook...i have hella pollished mine to get it down the lane better...did the person drilling it know what was going on...i have the colussus and the supreme, and it is better than anything with a brunswick label on it, including all of the buzzsaws which i have several...i would not give up on this ball or i would consider getting it redrilled b/c/ if you can't get it to hook there is a serious problem...

i will never get another morich ball again i should have stuck with my first pick and stayed with brunswick but i guess this is a lesson i was due to learn i would never recomend this ball to anyone else to bad i was not given the same advise my average has dropped from a 195 to 183 i am to stubborn to give up on this ball b/c i paid for it i had it dulled to give it more hook but that lasted one night and then all back to nothing the following week i cleaned the ball but still nothing this ball is not what it says so in my opinion DO NOT BUY IT

Layout for sports shot: Stacked leverage with balance hole 1 inch past vertical axis line. I scuffed the factory finish with a green scotch brite pad, This ball is a great combination of control and hook for medium to heavy oil. I have average revs, so I need a dry board some where on the backend to make this ball turn over, but it is very predictable. On extra long oil patterns or lanes with an excessive amount of carrydown, the ball does not quite finish. This could be a speed issue on my part. I throw around 21 mph. Pin carry is very good. You still have to hit the pocket, but it mixes pins well and provides a fair share of messengers.

My Colossus is drilled with pin at 3-3/8, RC is 1 in. left of thumb. When the lanes are oily, this is the ultimate weapon. It provides a skid/snap reaction on heavy oil with fresh back ends, and a smooth, powerful arc on medium oil with carrydown. The ball is very sensitive to dry, however. As soon as it hits dry, it makes its move, like it or not. I'm most impressed with how hard this ball hits, no matter the lane condition. Comes in hard, leaves nothing standing. The Colossus, in my opinion, is incredibly versatile, easy to control, and hits harder than anything else I've ever used. Best ball available, from ANY manufacturer.

I had the man himself (Mo. P.) drill this ball for me and i have to say he is a genius. he watched me roll a few balls and knew exactly what to do with my layout. i started out trying to play the same lines i used to play with my old equipment....... it took me all of 30 seconds to figure out that wasnt going to work. i had to move myself about 10 boards left and pull my target 10 boards left as well.. i can now like never before swing the ball from the 25 board out to the 5 board and just walk away. with the factory cover this ball hooks out of the house. i cant wait to bowl a tournament with it and dull it up for a flooded lane condition. this ball loves oil and it loves to hook, i could get backend on ice with this ball. on top of all of that hook, unlike other balls that hook like monsters, this ball still hits a ton, i have never seen or heard a ball hit like this one, EVER. it will leave 9 pins and 8 pins but thats just part of bowling. i recomend this ball to ev

Top Notch ball from Mo-Rich. Also excellent for carrydown but as soon as the lanes are fried from approach to pocket, put it back in the bag. Beleive me, it will be too strong. I got mine form a regional pro. I guess he didn't like it. I had it plugged and re-drilled. I used the mo-rich drilling specs for hi-track player. Drilling # 2 for max revs and sharp breakpoint and that's exactly what it did! So far I have increased my average by 50 pins. For the first time since I started bowling a little over 2 years ago, I'm now averaging 210. That's a far cry from my previous average of about 150-160.

A great ball to add to your arsenal! Out of the box this ball is great! Even arc and hard drive through the pocket. It is very consistent. Dull the surface and it works great on heavy oil as well. Unfortunately, I was using the ball three times a week for league and one house had wood lanes, so it tracked out VERY quickly. It is very important to take care of the surface or it will definitely start leaving corner pins. But, I still pull the ball out of my bag when I need to get through the heads.

I just love this ball!!! I just purchased this ball on 1/11/02 and had the ball drilled #2 on page 3 of drilling instructions that came with ball! In other words had it drilled with strong mid-lane break with continuous arc to the pins! And BANG!!!! I only missed the pocket twice in 3 games! Didn't have to move at all during the games even when the oil carried down! It still hooked! I JUST LOVE THIS BALL! No other ball like it! Had some problems with the 10 pin (left it 9 times in 3 games), but when it hit the pocket pins went everywhere!!!

This ball is made by columbia for mo rich, this ball is really an honest ball,ITreminds me a little of the amf nighthawk no over reaction a very predictable and readable ball that hits awesome and has dynamite carry,This ball sends more messengers than the postal service. If your looking for a hard hitting ball that has awesome carry add this one to your arsenal.you wont be disappointed with this ball mo pinel and company has struck pay dirt with this one it should be a winner dont let the name fool you its as good as the big boys balls just a little company name.

The boll was drilled to get a late hook and sanded 600 grit to work out on heavy oil. A very nice and kind ball. It rolls like a train and hits hard. Tried it on heavy oil and it worked well all over the lanes. Nice and easy going down and a really strong snap. Perfect for the bowlers who maybe throw a little bit to hard. Don’t be afraid it’s too strong, because it’s nice as well. I bought it to go with my Amf Angle tour and they make a nice duet. If I start with the Colossus I could work my way from right to left searching for oil, and when the lanes dries up it’s time for the Angle, witch I have a light polish on.

I have this drilled with the #2 drilling on the 1st page of drill sheet that came with ball, I throw 15-16mph with med-high revs, Lower axis tilt. I prefer to throw straighter but can get inside and rip it up now that I have this. Threw it on wood lanes, 38 feet of oil, Typical house shot, The lanes were a little broke down. Stood on 40 with feet threw ball over 4th arrow got it out to 8 and it came screaming back. Really like how this one rolls, Revs off your hand but very predictable, Really nice rolling in the midlanes but after that when it gets to breakpoint its all business. Very aggressive move to pocket. This one really sets up nice, Sends scouts everywhere, Carries a whole lot. I might mention I had my pro shop guy scuff this with burgundy pad. For surface. Hope this helps, RickyP...........
