Since I have this ball already 2 years ago.Until now,it still in my first priority list for shooting medium to dry lane.Y2K pearl brings very good & smooth hook on the lane.Of course, backend was remained in post part of lane. When Y2K hit pins,it seems like a heavy punch with spinning. Most of the time you can satisfy to choose this ball crossing a medium to dry lane with carry down.No other result, just strike! Try Y2K,no matter you are a brand bowler or not.Absolutely add it in you primary list of balls.

I bought this ball on the internet through ebay. I had it drilled up label leverage with finger inserts and a thumb slug. After drilling and shipping this ball cost me about $80. I thought it would be your typical skid/flip pearl, but it is not. It goes long and then arcs hard to the pocket. I can play this ball fairly straight on med. oil or swing it a little bit on a dry shot. It is not a hook monster. You can't cover too many boards with it or it just won't come back. However, as the lanes dry out I don't have to move my feet much at all to stay in the pocket. I can also use it on a very dry shot with good results. It just doesn't seem to mind dry heads like most of my stuff. If I drop my speed it will hook into the nose so it is speed sensitive, but so is everything else. I haven't shot huge scores with it because the carry is strange. Not many 10 pins stay up but I leave solid sevens(righty) and fours more with this ball than most. The ball will not hook if there is
