I recently picked up a 16lb ball with a 4" pin out. It is drilled pin next to ring with the CG kicked out an inch from there. The numbers break down to 4.5"x3.5". This ball is exactly what I wanted from Lane 1, it gets good length for a particle, and also makes a strong turn once hitting the dry. The ball doesn't over react but it isn't something you'd want to use on second shifts. It's also very responsive to release changes, and can be successfully thrown on various lines. The hitting power is average, but the carry is typical Lane 1. I feel this is a good ball to use first, but put it away once the heads go away.

First let me say that you need to know the lane conditions you are bowling on so that you can have this ball drilled correctly! I have been able to play every shot imaginable. From a straight down and in from board 5 all the way into board 15. I have also played an 5 board swing from 12 to 7 and an unbeliveable 10 on the opposite side to 5 on the throwing side. I am left-handed by the way! ;) In short, this ball will handle any line if drilled correctly. If you cannot adjust, you are screwed no matter what ball you get. This ball will move if you know how to adjust your wrist and can stay behind it. I know a few people that could not throw this on heavy oil because of how many revs they get normally. If you want a ball that hits like the name says, buy this one!!

Good ball for synthetic lanes. Won't hook up very well on wood lanes never had this problem with a ball before. But when you get this ball in the pocket it carries very well.I would advise that if you were going to bowl a lot on synthetic lanes it is worth getting.I play alot of down and in but with this one on snthetic I play in the middle. If I am on wood I can have problems getting it to the hole on wood. I would buy this ball again. It will hook and finish well.

I got this ball drilled Label and thought it would hook more but anyway. I stand about 3-5 boards away from the last dot on the left and throw this between 2nd and 3rd arrows and let this go to about the 7 board and let it walk in the pocket on almost any shot.Even though it doesnt hook too much, it still has Lane #1's patented insane hitting power. This is one of my favorite balls, it has great predictability and great roll through the pocket. The only thing I don't like is that when there is a dryer shot out there and I have to play deep inside with this it hardly ever carries the ten pin.<

Had this 3" pin 3oz top weight green beauty drilled up max leverage, then taken down to a sheen 600 grit. At my main house this ball is almost useless. Even after 5 or 6 games, it still can not open the lane up, it just slides, slides, and slides some more, never getting into a good roll. Everyone claiming this ball hooks more than anything else lane #1 has must be bowling on a wall or a blocked condition. This doesn't go to say this isn't a bad ball. It creats an ungodly amount of area and hit when you do find a condition it matches up to. The price tag might be a bit high for a medium oil ball, but if you like bombing strikes on this condition then by all means get this ball. You will love it if you give it a chance.

I DONT CARE WHAT ANYONE SYAS THIS BALL DOES NOT ROLL EARLY. IT SCOOTS THROUGH THE HEADS REVS LIKE NO OTHER IN THE MIDLANE, GRABS IN THE BACK AND EXPLODES WHEN IT CRUSHES THE POCKET. MINES STACKED LEVERAGE CUZ I FIGURED THIS BALL WAS MADE TO HOOK, SO LETS LET IT DO ITS THING. BESIDES I GOT OTHER BALLS FOR DRIER SHOTS. THIS BALL WAS MUCH EASIER TO CLEAR THE HEADS WITH THAN EITHER OF MY OTHER CARBIDES. THATS WHY I THINK THIS BALL WILL BE MORE VERSATILE THAN THE SUPER I HAVE. I HJAVENT SHOT BUT A GAME OT TWO WITH IT AN DITS ALREADY A GREAT BALL I CAN TELL. AND THAT HIT. JEEZ EVEN WITH A JUNKY HIT IT BLOWS THE STICKS ALL OVER THE DECK. I DONT KNOW YET BUT THIS MAY BE MY NEW FAVORITE.<scr

After much anticipation and study I decided to purchase the bomb. I set this one up with a very aggressive drill pattern, it’s 3x3/8 by 3x3/8 with thumb weight, a balance hole was needed to keep it legal, this is max leverage according to lane ones drill sheet. The ball was set up to roll early and finish strong, and I was very surprised with the amount of length I was able to achieve using this set up. I was able to line up about 10 boards left of center and roll over and through the third arrow out to about the 45 foot mark, and then it made a defined strong move towards the pocket with great entry angle and very little if any deflection, the end result was a powerful finish with great continuation through the pins. I purchased the bomb to compliment by Pro purple and XL, the bomb has a heavier particle load than the Pro purple so it will be the ball for heavy oil or with extreme carry down conditions on medium oil. The bomb will need some head oil to keep it in play but as I me
