Hammer Aggressive Reaction Technology (HART)
Hammer is very please to offer the unique Hammer Aggressive Reaction Technology (HART) core concept to the bowling industry. Developed by our team of design engineers, this radical new concept in bowling ball core design provides maximum performance without the need for exotic layouts and weight holes. It is that simple.
The HART core concept allows for strong hook motion with aggressive backend by placing the pin at 4? - 5? from the positive axis point and the HART in or near the ball track, The No Mercy offers a simple approach to asymmetrical cores so you do not have to over think this one. For aggressive ball motion, drill No Mercy series balls with Drilling #1 and have a nice day.
Tuning Ball Motion:
The coverstocks used on the Hammer No Mercy series will provide aggressive hook motion. However, it is important to keep in mind that all bowlers have different needs. The No Mercy coverstock can easily be sanded to a rougher grit for stronger hook motion in oil or polished for more length, more aggressive breakpoint and less total hook. Please consult your pro shop operator for additional assistance in tuning ball motion.
Ball Care:
It is imperative to maintain your new Hammer No Mercy by cleaning the coverstock immediately after each bowling session using bowling ball cleaning products designed for reactive balls. Hammer highly recommends Powerhouse energizer ball cleaner applied with a micro-fiber towel to remove the dirt and oil from the surface of the ball.
Drilling #1 - Most Aggressive
Ball Motion: Length with aggressive backend
Lane Condition: Medium to Heavy Oil
Flare Potential: High (5+)
Pin Placement: Place pin at 4? - 5? from the positive axis point (PAP)
HART Placement: Place HART in or near the ball track keeping side weight and finger/thumb weight to less than 1 ounce
NOTE: For bowlers with higher rev rates, place the pin at 5 - 5? from the bowlers positive axis point. For bowlers with lower rev rates, place the pin at 3? - 4 from the positive axis point.
Drilling #2 - Strong Arc
Ball Motion: Strong arcing hook (about 2-4 boards less than Drilling #1)
Lane Condition: Medium Oil
Flare Potential: Medium (3-5)
Pin Placement: Place pin at 4 - 5 from the positive axis point (PAP)
HART Placement: Place HART 2 right of the ball track
Balance Hole: If needed, place balance hole at 4 from the center of span on a line through the center of gravity.
Drilling #3 - Controlled Arc
Ball Motion: Controlled arc (about 4-6 boards less than Drilling #1)
Lane Condition: Light to Medium Oil
Flare Potential: Medium (2-4)
Pin Placement: Place pin at 5 - 5? from the positive axis point (PAP)
HART Placement: Place HART 1 right of the ball track keeping the side weight and finger/thumb weight to less than 1 ounce
Drilling #4 - Length with Smooth Arc
Ball Motion: Excellent length with smooth arc (about 6-8 boards less than Drilling #1)
Lane Condition: Light Oil
Flare Potential: Low (0-2)
Pin Placement: Place pin at 5 - 5? from the positive axis point (PAP)
HART Placement: Place HART 3 right of the ball track
Balance Hole: If needed, place balance hole at 4 from the center of span on a line through the center of gravity.
Drilling #5 - Full-Roller Layout
Full-Roller Ball Track Only!
Ball Motion: Strong arc
Lane Condition: Medium to Heavy Oil
Flare Potential: High
Pin Placement: Place pin at 4? from the center of the span and 2 from the grip centerline
HART Placement: Place HART at 4 from the grip centerline
Balance Hole: If needed, place weight hole at approximately 5 from the grip center on a line connecting the grip center and center of gravity.
Do not use traditional mass bias layouts for the Hammer No Mercy!!!

The No Mercy Beat'n is a goood ball. When I bought the Beat'n It was going to be the ball i was to use for med-heavy oil. I pull the beat'n out of my bag to use it on 5/17/08. Wow! I started off with 4 strikes in a row. I was think this is going to be a good night. I would have to say that The Beat'n is a great ball from hammer. I would recamend the ball to others in our bowling center. Nothing Hits Like a Hammer! That is for sure!

When I first got this ball it worked beautifully. It allowed me to move in and get the ball out further down the lane and still recovered fine. I like to play out around 6 or 7, but by the middle of game 2 that shot is gone (thanks to dry house shots). Previously, when I moved in to combat that, I had some over-under and had a hard time getting the ball to make a clean corner. However, this ball did the trick. Recovery was not an issue. The major bad part is that it died after about 3 weeks. It still hits well, it just doesn't turn the corner like it did in the past. I have found that Hammer equipment tends to do this. This would be a good ball to have when you NEED it, but not to throw as first ball out of your bag.

The No Mercy Beat'n is the ball to have in your bag to combat longer patterns this ball seems to find the pocket if you tug it a little it sits and if you push it out on the lane a little comes back with fury towards the pocket. Even on drier lanes just move right and play straight up a board and still hits like a freight train and sents the pins flying around. On PBA Shots just play the lanes like they are suppossed to be played and the Beat'n will find the pocket at least it did for me<scrip

An amazing ball for a stroker in patterns that have a higher volume oil. This ball is a great compliment to the Black Widow Pearl. However once the ball was drilled, i wasn't allowed to shift my axis of rotation to the extreme end of the spectrum (90 degrees) because the ball would not hook. This could be due to my ball speed being rather high. When i shift my axis of rotation back to a range between 4:00 o'clock to 5:30 position, the ball hooks like a freak. For very large volumes of oil, a slower ball speed is all that is needed and this ball still as plenty of hook and power. 7 months ago i started with a 150 average and now i am currently at a 203 average. Besides practice, having the large controllabe hook of the NMB really helped bring my average up. Although a great ball, the black widow pearl's sudden voilent turn isn't as forgiving.

I was hoping for more of an early rolling ball, but this worked just as well. I bought it becuase my black widow has absolutly noo hope in tournaments. This ball needs the oil to work. Once it touches any dry part the thing is gone, which is why I only use it in tournaments. Isnt the most forgiving ball but thats what you get for having an aggressive ball like this. Once i started to throw this I was coming up light leaving 10 pins, but the thing hit so hard tat a pin would come flying out of no where to tak it out.

i like the ball, it is awesome, it comes back when you send it out, you can play inside or straight up if you have a lot of speed. i haven't bought a ball in awhile, this is my first ball in a long time and it is one hell of a ball, it just hits the pins like a pimp hits his hoes, and/or it always finds the gspot on a 30lb coochie. i'm not as young as i once was and i dont hit the ball like i use to, and this ball can go from gutter to gutter. i always know what to expect from this ball, pure domination, hook it on ice.

Super Strong Breakpoint and Backend reaction on medium heavy oil patterns!!. Very high carry percentage on light hits. Throw it wide and it will come back.Super Strong Breakpoint and Backend reaction on medium heavy oil patterns!!. Very high carry percentage on light hits. I can go extremely straight and still score with this 256 playing the 15 board. This ball is freakin awesome. I used to be a cranker and I thought the original was strong. Now with me playing mostly up 6, I barely lift on the ball and it hooks left. Usually, I have to keep the speed up so it doesn't go brooklyn. I got this ball drilled like my friends. He throws 2 fingered, and his pin was an inch from the pin finger. I threw his and rolled a 236. So I got mine drilled like that, first day 212 206 239. I can throw starting at 15 get it out to 5 and this ball will come screaming back and hit flush in the one three. I need to go back and get this ball resurfaced its losing a little bit of its hook. But, it can still hook with the best of them. Its brought my avg up 15 pins.

Had the ball drilled with the #1 most aggressive drilling. The ball snaps really hard which is great. This is one of the greatest balls to swing out. Gotta love standing way left with this ball and throwing it right at third arrow, if you do that, you'll be amazed. Not a good ball to throw if the lanes are medium or medium-light. Not many ten pins are left standing with this thing. This thing took over my Black Widow as the first ball out of my bag. Nothing will ever hit like a Hammer. The impact of this thing is unreal. Hammer is second to none.

i own a total nv ( supposedly so good)and must say i am not impressed( presently for sale)my wife bought me a beat'n for my birthday and i shot 608 out of the box , i'm a 163 avg. bowler. was a joy to play , turn the blinker on and watch pins fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! played second and third arrows on a house shot and the ball kept finding the pocket. here pins, pin's pin's . the beat'n was the metal and the pins were the magnet. i can't wait to play again on tuesday night and see how i match up for the league shot, typically wet the first game and dries out as the night goes on. wouldn't heitate to buy another hammer product. tuesday night league, come get your beat'n lololol

In the first week that my wife used this ball, she won our local San Diego NABI Tournament, bowled her first 300 games and first 700 series. She carries a 183 book average and she played the 15th board to the 10th. The No Mercy Beatin' hooks to the pocket each time. Anyone who loves a Hammer should get this ball. It looks great and outperforms any bowling ball in our arsenal. You will be amazed once you try it out. I started bowling about 20 years ago with Hammer Balls. Then I've tried a variety of bowling balls along the way. I think it's time for me to go back using "Hammer" balls because their simply the best!!!

This was the first ball I drilled when I switched from Storm to Hammer, and it was the ball that made me switch to all Hammer. This thing works well on a much larger variety of shots than I expected it to, which is fantastic. The Overall Hook it provides is not quite as much as I thought it would be, but I am fairly sure if I dulled it down a bit, it would start up earlier and cover more boards overall. About the only downside I saw was if you make a mistake at the release, this thing can do some wierd stuff, as in; start up WAY early, skid through the ideal breakpoint, or just plain die midlane.

I bought this ball on Tuesday (14th) and have bowled about 20 to 30 games with it since then and all i'll say is that this ball hits like a mack truck. I've got a Toxic, No Mercy, Pain and a Black Widow, and this ball hits harder than all of those. For a lefty i throw over 3rd arrow down to about 3 to 5 board, and this ball gets into the pocket every shot. Even if i put it a bit wide it still gets into the pocket for some good mix. Even for light pocket shots the carry is still good giving some good mix. The only problem I have with it, is that if i put a few more revs on it, it just takes off. the same thing happens if i slow my shot down a little. But apart from that, this ball is incredible. I cant wait to try it on other lane conditions to see what its really capable of.

After drilling a couple for different people and watching them throw the No Mercy Beat'n I had to try one for myself. I was skeptical about drilling a ball that is so aggressive because I usually can't use balls that hook alot. I figured it would be similair to the original No Mercy and start up to early for me.. man was I wrong. I decided to drill the Beat'n to the recommended layout from Hammer to see what this ball really had to offer. The pin is placed above my ring finger with the CG near the center of my grip and the mass bias to the left of the thumb hole. My PAP is 4 3/4" right and 1/2" up. As luck would have it, the good people at Executive STrike & Spare had just finished oiling the lanes when I got done drilling the Beat'n. From the very first shot I threw with this ball I knew I had a winner in my hands. The ball cleared the heads great, coasted down the lane and at about 45 feet made a turn to the hole. The energy this ball delivered to the pocket left the pin
