I had been looking for a urethane ball that had a good weight block in it for some time. I was hoping that one of the ball companies would put out a urethane ball with a decent block in it. I couldn't find one that I really liked so I decided to try and find an old Faball Hammer. I lucked into this Red Pearl Hammer that had very few games on it and since I had heard it was one of the better ones I decided to drill it. The ball had already been drilled so I just decided to plug the thumb and redrill it to fit me. The pin and CG are right together and located to the right of my ring finger. There is also a weight hole located from the center of grip through the CG. I expected this ball to get great length and make a smooth turn to the hole. That is exactly what I got. I took it out to some lanes that had been bowled on by a league and then open bowling all day. I wanted to make sure they were nice and burnt so I threw my Widow Pearl and it hooked almost at the arrows. The

This ball unlike the blue pearl, for whatever reason, actually reacts to the horrid synthetic lanes. My father owns this ball and let me try it and i really liked the way it reacted to the synthetic lanes. This ball is extra awesome on wood!! This ball is from the early 90's or the late 80's not sure when he bought it, but it is def. an awesome ball! Im sure he will have it forever. When its time for him to give it up, i hope he chooses to give it to me over my brothers jared and nick!!!!<s
