It is not the perfect ball for fried conditions but at least it can be controlled better than more aggressive coverstocks when the lanes are fried. I play it from behind the ball mostly up to 45 degree tilt depending on the conditions and how much I can swing it and still carry the ten pin. Once you learn the boundaries you can carry and score higher than you might think. It is definitely a straight player's ball and a good ball for anyone trying to throw straighter when their inside shots are not working. I suspect I am one of the few people to own or dare to try to use one of these balls but for slower shooters it is a must to have a ball like this in the arsenal. I find it carries most frequently with a slight axis tilt and small hook...it will walk to the pocket in a slow arc but can be a little more aggressive if you tell it to with your hand position. Mine is drilled to go long.<
