I am reviewing this ball since there is currently only one other. I watched my old man throw around 20 games with this on synthetic lanes with a medium oil pattern. He is getting older and ball speed is not what it used to be aroune 13 mph. I bought this and the dull Nova (See review) to complement each other thinking the dull would be for oil and this for the dry. Wrong. This ball wants to move almost instantly. He started every game trying to throw this down and in over second arrow but the ball was too much...Moved to swing it from third to just outside of second and was a much better shot, but it still wanted to move early. This was probably due to the slower ball speed, but with the same speed, the dull nova held the line better. With that said, I would have loved to tried one of these as I have the ball speed to hold the line he was trying to play. When the ball found the pocket it hit very well.

Probably the most underrated ball of all time! It came out after hammer had started its down hill slide but before Mo Pinel came to the rescue. This ball will handle med-light oil with about a 10 board swing (15 to 5) and med-heavy with a more direct down and in shot with much better carry than most reactives offer. Goes long on all but the extreme dry shot with one of the biggest backends I've ever seen. I'm talkin' EYE-POPPIN' SNAP even with light carrydown!! You can still find this ball on Ebay occasionally for around 50 bucks NIB! Add this ball to your tournament arsenal and start cashing in!
