Because of the great demand from bowlers for Faball to make the 1997 Solid Ball of the Year in a pearlized version, it has finally arrive. Faball has taken one of the greatest balls ever made and given it a "go through the front free card" by adding pearlization to the coverstock. This ball uses the pearl cover to store energy in the front of the lane and then uses the high rev rate of the original offset core to hook on the back of the lane.
CORE GENERAL Triple Density/Offset body (13-16lb). High torque. Two specifically balanced flip blocks attached to a dense, barrel shape core. The upper flip block is heavier than the lower block. The core contains a center locator pin, referred to as the HAMMER Offset Tech Spot (HOT SPOT). |

This is a great ball for when the lanes are in transition. If there's too much oil or no oil, the ball can be a bear, but in between, it decimates the pins when put in the pocket. Hit solid and the pins are sucked off the deck. Hit light, so long as you have rotation on the ball, the pins are sent all over the place. As with all of my Hammers, this is drilled strong. This is an early rolling ball with a lot of backend power, which is suited for (a) my style and (b) most lanes I bowl on. If there is oil, I am not saying this ball cannot be used. However, too much speed in heavy oil will result in a roll with no turn. Slow the speed down and the ball will still react.
