The Turbo X with Reactive Resin has a modified Turbo core, dynamically balanced to increase its kinetic energy for greater hitting power. The pins stay low and explosive. The Reactive Resin formula with RRT31 additive enhances the polymer morphology, allowing the urethane a greater gripping action due to a greater coefficient of friction that delivers extreme backend hooking characteristics.

I am carrying a solid 200 average with this ball while only bowling twice a week these days. I bought the ball new in 1992 and then got a Danger Zone as lane conditions were too oily for the X. I took a few years off bowling and recently restarted on dry lanes. The Zone went into the bag and out came the X again, works great on the dry lanes. I am trying to find the best cleaner conditioner for the Turbo X to keep the surface tacky so if anyone knows of one, please let me know. Terry

This is the best ball i've ever used. Period. When i was about 15 i bought one brandnew in the box. a friend threw 33 straight strikes and i shot 17 OUT THE BOX!.. after moving states and getting out of bowling in 97 and just gettin back in earlier this yr i have been looking for another one but had trouble because its rare and discontinued. I currently use a Hammer No Mercy, Toxic.. Along with My Turbo X (mainly) and a Blue Nitro also from the 90s. The turbo x i bought and found on eBAY and purchased it for a meer 35 dollars. GREAT condition and only drilled ONCE which FITS my span and style... i throw it like i did back in the day.. Stand left, throw 3rd arrow out to abou the 5 or 6 board and let it come back with a fury distroying the rack.. Nothing is, or will be like this ball.. if you have one, HOLD ON TO IT.,. OR get in touch with me, i'll buy it.. good finish and drilled once balls only!

this ball is the best i love this ball and is probaly the only ball that i will stick with, it is a very great ball for oiling conditions but not dry. The low end hook on this ball is fantastic. If this ball was still made i would reccomend it to all people that like a medium hook. The ball will hook very niceley if you throw it slowly but you can throw it at a medium speed to but it will put out less hook but stilll has the great hitting power. The pin action that this ball generates is amazing. It hits the pocket so hard and al the pins are down. This ball also gives me a fairly large playing area.

I really like the ball, is a solid old ebonite ball that works great when the lanes dry out and there is nothing else in your bag that you can keep on the right side of the lanes. there is no way that this should be anyones go to ball, this should be an emergency ball in your bag that you only use on extreme dry conditions. Old Ebonite balls are the best, the shockwave and the wolf series were really great balls also. If you need a dry lane ball instead of trying to hunt down one of these i recommend a tropical storm or possibly a dyno thane crisis. both great balls with not a lot of movement.

Ebonite needs to get going. Puma? NO! Nitro R2? NO! Bring back the Turbo X!!!! Sports Tec? Nice going. Why didn't Ebonite just engrave K-mart on it. I bought this used from a guy in our league. Plugged it. Drilled it. Threw it. Wrecking pins. Quit screwing around Ebonite! This ball wouldn't wear out. It was so versatile. Sand it, Polish it. Whatever. Flood, Desert, it could handle everything. Possibly the best Reactive ball of all time? My friend bought it from me after I put 400 games on it. He still rolles it today. It has alot of battle scars and to engraving is gone. I wasn't allowed to throw it anymore. A definate go to ball.

I am a right handed bowler, and crank the ball a fair bit(not like a robert smith or couch, but a decent amount). I usually have major problems being inconsistant with a balls reaction namely due to the fact that I keep lifting my head and all. but this ball went absolutely stupid last night, first time i have used it apart from last nights league. i bowled three games shot 230 268 183. this ball does it all it really doesnt leave alot fo tens unless you become a softy for the shot. it has hit that hard it has left me a few cold nine pins and some solid sevens and seven fours.

I bought 6 of these all 16lb.in the early 90's.Drilled from 1-2:30 pin placement,0-7/8 pos.side,800 dull to finess-it shiny. All 6 are still around today where several other brand balls have 1/2 in cracks in them from old age.A shiny surface snaps 3000(finess-it), where a duller surface 800 grit arcs on oiler conditions.Great carry 1/2 & full pocket hits with very few flat tens on all conditins.I do not have to use my spare ball on all spares but the 10 pin.A+

With the top weight and the number of revolutions I create, the ball has a smooth arcing hook. Always consistant and very few spits. I bowled my first 300 game with this ball. Very good on medium oiled lanes and is easy to adjust when lane conditions break down. This ball is not recommended when lane conditions are dry to begin with as the ball will have a strong backend hook. It does however take a beating. I bought it used and logged over 400 games on it. It still performs as well as it did when I first got it.
